The next day

Yuji and Nobara were silently arguing back and forth. This is usual for both of them, they fought, gave up, then fought again

"The fuck you mean? This is my house! You're the one who's getting outta here if someone is!"

Yuji snapped

"Oh hell to the f*ck no! I ain't going nowhere! This is Kana sensei's house! She told me I could stay!"

"You b*tch! You blackmailed my auntie!"

Ha accused, making her snort at him

"Not really, dumbass! She's the one-

"CAN YOU BOTH SHUT UP! SAKI HAS HOMEWORK TO FINISH! SAKI'S SICK OF YOU TWO FIGHTING LIKE AN OLD MARRIED COUPLE!"

Saki snapped at them after trying concrete on her homework and messing up for the 6th time only because of them

The two went quiet, still glaring at each other but didn't scream anymore

The butterfly girls all sat there watching their young master and lady with visible sweat drops on their faces

"This is ridiculously funny... But can I laugh? Will I be disrespectful if I laughed?"

Each of them thought to themselves

"Finally, some peace "

Saki whispered under her breath before aggressively coloring. She was quiet but the two teens still heard it and got embarrassed

But they heard the door open, Kana walked in with a tray with macha for both of them

She came in and both of their eyes lit up. But when she served them the tea, they noticed she was a bit absentminded

She sat beside Yuji, still quiet as ever. She gently twirled her hair with her finger, seemingly deep in thought

All the kids, and even the servents shared a look with each other

This is just so unusual. Kana always talked. In all the time anyone had known her, this is probably the most quiet they've seen her

"Auntie are you okay?"

Yuji asked, breaking her from her train of thoughts

She smiled at him, patting all of their heads

"Yeah, I'm completely fine, my babies. "

"Then Why are you so quiet? I've never seen you so quiet, sensei"

Nobara asked in concern

"Oh it's nothing. I'm just thinking about a meeting with Tamayo-sama today, you know, the last female demon in the world?"

Yuji nodded and to him, it was like a valid reason

He knew how important and stressful clan work can be, he'd seen Kana struggling with clan work so many times that he'd lost count. So he didn't question it anymore but did suggest her not to stress herself too much

But Nobara wasn't so easily convinced, neither were Saki and the butterfly girls

Their women's intuitions were just giving this bell that something was off

The girls shared a look with each other. And Saki decided to take matters into her own hands

She tried to read her mom's mind

"It's not something unusual... But it still doesn't explain the flashbacks I had that day.... Lord I still don't understand what I did"

Saki creased her little brows in confusion hearing her mommys thoughts... It was just so bizarre. She couldn't get anything out of her mind

But Nobara soon noticed something

"Kana sensei "

She called, coming closer to her. Kana looked at her with a smile, encouraging her to tell what she wanted to

"What's that on your neck?"

She asked, cupping a confused Kana's cheek and make her head angle in a way so she could see her neck more carefully

Yuji and Saki also looked closer. The butterfly girls pecked from their stands

At first, they were a bit confused. But as they stared at the mark longer, their eyes went wide. All the three girls quietly gasped and looked away before starting to giggle

Nobara looked back at them snickering, still not realizing what happened

She blinked once , twice before her eyes snapped towards Kana who looked lost as they were

She stared at her in disbelief, processing the shock

It took Yuji the most time to figure out what it was. It looked like some of the bite marks he got from Saki while playing with her when she got mad. But unlike him, she had the bite marks on her neck

"Who.... Would bite her there.... Were they play fighting or-

But soon his thoughts came to an end when it finally drowned to him. His face got pale and it looked like he aged 10 years that moment

"Oh my Lord, Kana sensei! You finally found the love of your life? It looks like you had quite fun last night ~~~ so, who's the lucky guy?"

Nobara said in a teasing voice

Kana's eyes almost popped out of her skull. She quickly hid her neck with her thick braids

"U-um that's not appropriate way to talk at all. Don't say things like that Infront of anyone, my babies"

She said in a panic

Nobara and the girls giggled, seemingly finding it really cute how flustered she looked

Yuji one the other hand was a totally different news. He was sweating bullets, he looked like someone punched in in the gut

"W-What? B-but w-with who?"

He stuttered out looking at his aunt with eyes filled with disbelief. His eyes were shaking

But before Kana could reply, the shoji door opened again. And Sukuna walked in

His hair was wet, only wearing his pants while wiping his head with a towel. He didn't even try to hide it when he sat down with Kana

But sitting down with her wasn't that abnormal. But how close and intimately they sat was a little concerning

"So huh, king? Wanna change your answer from yesterday? So now you do love her!?"

Nobara said teasingly and Yuji's heart almost stopped

Sukuna paused then smiled

"I didn't say I love her.... I didn't say I don't... And frankly, it's none of your business!"

Nobara rolled her eyes

Kana just blushed when he casually wrapped one of his arms around her. She looked up, he was already looking at her. His eyes had this look of care and worry in them despite his poker face

She just gently smiled at him, saying she's okay

But their lovely moment was ruined when Yuji screamed, horrified

"Sukuna, you bastard! What did you do to my Auntie"

Kana knew something like this might happen and she quickly told one of the butterfly girls to take Saki away. When she was out of side Kana gave yuji a sorry smile

"I'm sorry that you had to know like this baby.... But I promise you Sukuna-sama didn't force me into anything. Whatever... Happened between us is completely consentual so please don't blame him for anything "

Sukuna just smirked while Yuji looked like he was having a midlife crisis

Kana then gently took his hand in hers

"Baby love, I want you to know no matter where I go or whatever I do, you'll always be my top priority. I am happy with what I am but you and Saki are my biggest joy in life. I don't want you to be unhappy "

Yuji didn't know how to feel about this

Of course, as he knows, he wasn't capable of hate. Which meant he didn't hate Sukuna but it still seems a little weird since him and Sukuna look a lot alike each other and they did share the same body once

But it was not only that. As much as he knows about Sukuna, which is a lot, Sukuna is the cruel king of crurses, he's heartless and barely shows any positive emotions

Kana just giggled, shaking her head

"Don't worry, little love. He loves me to bits and treats me well... I promise"

Both of the guys stared at each other quietly, seemingly having a silent conversation. It was almost 20 minutes they continued this. Getting onto the girls nerves

When Nobara was about to tell them to cut it out, Yuji spoke

"I swear to God, if you hurt her, I'll kick your ass"

He said with a gentle smile while Kana and Nobara widened their eyes in shock

A beaming smile came to kana's smile when she understood her little one accepted her and her king

"Yeah, yeah, like you could even lay a finger on me but sure... I'll never dream of hurting my woman"

"Okay dude, now you're just showing up"

"Maybe I am, whatcha gonna do about it, brat!?"

"You're a fucking asshole, you know that?"

"Like your any better "

They kept arguing back and forth till Nobara stopped

"Cut it out, you two. You're literally fighting like toddlers! "

Kana quickly nodded

"I agree with pretty-chan... I think you all should leave for the school -

"You won't come?"

Sukuna asked, cutting her off

"She gave him a guilty smile and shook her head

"Sorry but I have a meeting with Tamayo-sama in a while. I'll join you by the time it will end "

Sukuna decided not to question it and just shrug it off

Because he knew she was telling the truth. It was so obvious. As she wasn't a good lier at all

He just nodded

As the kids left the room, she hugged him by his neck. Softly whining and complaining she'll miss him and how she hated clan work

Sukuna didn't remember if he ever felt like this, like so domestic... It was a weird feeling for him but it was good none the less. He hugged her back

And when they separated, he gave her a chaste kiss on her lips, both of their tongues lazily dancing together for a moment before they let go of each other

With the last by wave Kana sent them off....

When the were out of sight, her smile dropped and she looked down at her hands worriedly

She just had to meet Tamayo-sama in all cost

Kana met Tamayo-sama in her office. They talked for a bit and both Tamoyo and Yoshiro almost immediately caught wind that something was wrong

The young clan head had this look of worry in her eyes

"Lady Kanroji.... If there is something wrong, please, you can tell us. Why the sudden urge to meet us? Did something happen?"

Kana stayed silent for a moment before looking outside

"Tamayo-sama.... What do you think about reincarnation?"

Her question momentarily startled both of the demons. They looked at each other before looking back at her

She looked like she was deep in thought when she asked that

"I don't.... Really know. But we believe everyone who died in the hands of demons will be reincarnated to have a normal and happy life they deserve.... Why do you ask, my mistress?"

Kana shook her head before looking at them with a helpless look

"Can.... Can you explain to me why when I first met Ryomen Sukuna's eyes... Instead of his red eyes.... I saw different colored eyes... one turquoise and one yellow?"

Her question made their eyes go wide. They felt like their hearts stopped when she mentioned those colors. Those serine yet beautifully unique eyes
