Kana sat In front of the king of curses, Ryomen Sukuna. He was in his full form and Kana can confidently say, this mans face is the most horrifying face she'd seen in her whole life

She wanted to puke looking at him

But it wasn't the time, her baby love needed her to fix this

She had to fix this. There wasn't an any other option. It's either she stops this cursed king or Yuji's life will be always in danger

But even after knowing all this, she couldn't help how her heart was beating fast with fear. Like it never had before. She knows one wrong word and it's game over for her

Because even though this is in her domain, how long could she keep it down. Not for eternity and this man could do anything she wants

Sitting Infront of him, she felt so small. Like a kid. In general, Kana was not short. Yes she still looked significantly shorter than Gojo, Geto or even Yuji, but this was another level of short

She wasn't even sure if could say short, she just felt small and powerless Infront of this beast

With cold sweat on her neck and a gulp, she smiled up at him

"Sukuna-sama..."

"What do you want from me, woman? Don't you fear for your life, mortal?"

He asked with a raised eyebrow, catching her of guard

She stared at him with wide eyes before giggling

"I just want my family safe and sound, like any other woman does"

Sukuna didn't know where this human was going. She looked like she was actually carefreely talking with him, with a monster like him without any fear for her life

"So what if you want your family safe... It's not my problem. Aren't you afraid of me human?"

She shook her head with a cheeky smile on her face

"I don't..."

"I can kill you now"

"Every human dies eventually. It's not like I'm immortal, Sukuna-sama. If I die today... Oh well, nothing much I can do"

She said, now sitting down more comfortably

"You amuse me, woman. Why are you doing so much for that brat? You're not even his parent"

She looked down, before her eyes flickered towards Yuji's

She couldn't describe how much she loved that boy in words

"I love him, Sukuna-sama... I am first one who held him when he was born. I love him cause he is one of the very few family members I have"

She said with a reassuring smile when she saw the young boy's eyes shine with tears

But Sukuna's abnoxious laugh brought her attention towards him. It laugh made her shiver. It was such a dark, cruel, sinister laugh, it reaked of evil

"You're a naive woman. Don't you know your sacrifice or love wouldn't change anything of this world? Humans are selfish creatures, they will only repay your kindness with pain. Don't you understand this little girl?"

He asked her with a mocking smile

This made her quiet. She was ashamed and thinking what to say as she looked down

Sukuna smirked, thinking he won the victory. And was about to raise his hand when she started

"I know we humans are selfish "

He stopped, deciding to hear what she has to say

"I, as a human, am selfish too... That's why I need Yuji. I need my family. It's my selfishness but I can't help it... I'm weak and I know it very well. Tho I'm not ashamed of it... You know why?"

Sukuna just quietly stared at her, thinking what she was about to say that she thought will convince him to stop the things he'd been doing all his life

"Because every living being is selfish. You are, I am and everyone is. I know there will be time when people will use this selfish side of theirs to hurt others... I know that some one has hurt you or forced you -

Sukuna's booming laugh made her words die down. She stared at him in confusion, thinking why he had a reaction like this

"No one hurt me, little girl. I'm who I am. This is who I am, I love to see people suffer, I like to hurt others, I like to kill and I love to destroy. That's just how I am, woman. Your words aren't really helping you"

She was quiet again

"Can't you change yourself?"

Her question really thrown Sukuna off. He didn't know where she was going with this conversation at all

Most importantly, he didn't understand why he was entertaining this. Why wasn't he just ripping her head off. If it was anyone else, he'd have killed them a long time ago

But he couldn't master it in him to hurt this young woman. He didn't know why, it felt like her fragile side just captivated him or something.

He never liked women because how weak and fragile they were. So it really didn't make sense to why he didn't feel the same for this woman

His thoughts ended when he felt a light touch on his hand. It was her, she just grabbed one of his four hands

Her hands were small. Really small compared to his. They were pale and the nails were were painted pink. He didn't know why he stared at those hands with so much curiousity

"Please... I promise I'll give you a reason to protect. I promise I'll make sure you feel loved and wanted, no one will ever hurt you or bad mouth you... You'll live with respect and everything a person deserves... But please don't harm anyone"

She looked up at him with her pale green eyes filled with tears, her eyes begging him to give her a chance

Sukuna's eyes widened when he felt a his heart skip a beat, for the first time in all his life

The always thought he didn't have a heart. His heart cold and didn't feel anything for anyone

So now all of a sudden he felt this unexpected beat on his once non-existent heart had him taken aback

She was still looking at him with those pleading eyes, he didn't know what to do anymore

But before he realized what he was doing, he raised his hand, gently cupping her cheeks.

He ran his fingers through her pale skin, those black sharp nails, ran down her cheeks and she shivered, nuzzling closer to his hand and closing her eyes

(Ps. anyone who's thinking this that she's doing this for something very romantic, it's not. She's scared shitless and just closed her eyes)

Sukuna discovered, it would be so easy for him to rip her skin, draw blood with his claws and ruin her pretty face, but he wanted to do anything but that

"I don't need anything.... But I'll give you a chance. Show me what you can do, human... "

Hey eyes snapped open, looking at him with bewilderment before throwing herself at him. He was caught off guard when she just into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck. She was practically on his lap

"Wahhhhh! Thank you so much Sukuna-sama! I promise I won't disappoint you. You'll love it being with us"

She said with a giggle, tightening her arms around him

For the first time in his life, Sukuna was at a loss. He didn't know what to do. So he just ackwardly hugged her back. Small red hues on his cheeks as he whispered in a grumpy voice

"Do you have no shame, woman? Who let's a man touch her like this"

She just giggled as they broke out from her domain expention. She didn't let him go though

"I do. Now don't ruin the mood. Just let me cuddle... Actually it's really comfy here"

She said, making herself comfortable on his lap while the others gaped at her like fishes

They thought their eyes were playing games with their minds because surely what they were seeing was not true. It couldn't be

They could see Kana, in Ryomen Sukuna's imbrace, on his lap, all cuddled up

They were at loss for words and questioning all their life choices
