It was a regular Sunday morning here in jujutsu high

The sister school event between Tokyo jujutsu high school and Kyoto jujutsu high was in the process. All the teachers and students from both of the schools were together for the event

The students were training while the teachers were supervising them

It was a nice sunny day. Everyone around was happy and in content

Laughter and joyful chuckles/ giggles could be heard all around the training fields. The teachers were gossiping amongst themselves when suddenly

The door of the common room bursted open, scaring the living shit of many of the teachers and students

There stood a frantic looking Ijichi Kiyotaka, the assistant manager of Tokyo jujutsu high

"What's wrong with you, Ijichi? Why do you look so scared?"

One of the teachers, special grade sorcerer Geto Suguru asked in concern

Before Ijichi could answer his question, a loud booming laugh was heard

"When is Ijichi not scared, Suguru? Exactly, never."

The strongest shaman of the era, special grade sorcerer and jujutsu high's teacher, Gojo Satoru asked his best friend with his regular arrogant smirk

Everyone gave him an irritated look

"Oh shut up, Gojo. Be more polite in front of the students at least"

Kyoto jujutsu high's teacher, semi grade one sorcerer told Gojo with an irritated look

To which, he only laughed more

"It's quite surprising how you're still not used to Gojo's antics, Hime"

Ieri Shoko, Tokyo jujutsu high's nurse, said with a puff of her smoke

This made, Tojo Fushiguro, another teacher of Tokyo Jujutsu high snort

And Mei Mei, grade one sorcerer smiled one of her regular smile

"Will you all, shut up and listen to what Ijichi has to say or not?"

Grade one sorcerer, Itadori Yuji's mentor, Nanami Kento said in frustration

"Yeah, Ijichi, breath and tell us what's the matter "

Another teacher of the school, Haibara Yuu said

Ijichi took a few deep breaths. The terror in his face was just so evedeint it was getting the others a bit worried too

He looked straight at Gojo and in a high pitched voice yelled

"Gojo-san, Yuji Itadori's exicution has been cancelled. "

Everyone's, eyes went wide

The students stopped what they were doing just to stare at ijichi in disbelief

All the teachers immediately stood up, staring at ijichi with wide eyes, disbelief written all over their faces

"What are you saying, ijichi!?"

Haibara asked, more like yelled

"Are you sure you're not mistaking, Ijichi?"

Geto said, his voice was calmer but you could still tell he was in shock by how his pupils were shaking

Ijichi quickly shook his head, bringing a piece of paper to Gojo and handing it to him

"I am telling you all the truth. Yuji's exicution has been cancelled. We got the letter from Tengen-sama just a few minutes ago"

Gojo took the letter, Geto got closer to see what was written

And just as Ijichi said, it was a cancellation certificate

It was directly written by master Tengen. In this letter, he explained how if even a scratch was there on Itadori's body, the jujutsu society would be in grave danger

After reading the letter, Gojo and Geto were stunned to science

To say they were shocked would be an understatement. They had tried everything in their power to stop Yuji's horrible fate. But failed every time

So what is this now?

When they asked for the exicution to be cancelled, they were bluntly refused

Now what is the meaning of this?

And the jujutsu society being in grave danger because of Yuji's exicution just didn't add up at all. As far as they knew, the jujutsu society would be in much more danger if Ryomen Sukuna, the king of curses's vessel was freed from everything

This just didn't make any sense

"I don't understand.... What's going on?"

Haibara said said under his breath as he took the letter from Gojo's hand and red it

Nanami was also reading it, he was happy for his student but it still wasn't a good enough reason to let the king of crurses's vessel to walk around freely

All the teachers were in shock

"What is the meaning of this? They would just let this brat walk around without any supervision? This is literally suicide. "

Toji said in irritation. He was the next one to read the letters from Haibara and Nanami

It didn't make any sense at all

"Yes, he's right. This boy is a literal walking time bomb. We never know when he'll lose control over his body "

Utahime said in a panic

Ijichi sighed, he didn't get pain enough for this

"I don't know anything about this. But tengen-sama had called an emergency meeting with all the teachers. The Kyoto and Tokyo principals are already present in the meeting."

He informed before looking at Gojo and Geto

"Gojo-san, Geto-san, I was told to take you and the teachers at the meeting location. It's really important "

He said, looking expectedly

Geto nodded, being the responsible one, he quickly told Ijichi to arrange the cars to take them

Ijichi nodded and was about to leave the room. But then he stopped and looked back

"Yuji Itadori is also to be present in the meeting. It's an order directly from Tengen-sama "

Geto's eyes widened and all the teachers snapped their heads back, looking at heads at Yuji

The poor sunshine baby flinched. He uncomfortably squirmed under his teachers intense gazes

He himself was quite confused. Why would suddenly his exicution be cancelled? He knew from the beginning since he joined in jujutsu high that he was to be executed because of the king of crurses

So what changed all of a sudden?

He did want this to happen. I mean, who wouldn't want to live. The world is beautiful and he had so much to see of it. But he didn't want to get his hopes high

It still felt like a dream that would end. So he didn't want to think about the best and then find out it was just a mistake

A cruel joke of fate

So he gulped and shrugged his shoulder

From his inner domain, the king of crurses, Ryomen Sukuna lifted his brows

Quite a turn of events. It wasn't something he expected

He never expected the exicution of this little brat would be cancelled. And so suddenly on top of that

"This is gonna be interesting"

He thought to himself with a  tantalizing smirk

They nodded and ijichi went out to arrange the cars to take so many people

It was quiet for a moment

Zenin Maki said, breaking the silence

"Well.... That was all very sudden "

Everyone nodded, agreeing with her statement

"Anyways, I am really happy for you, Itadori-kun"

The youngest special grade sorcerer, Yuta Okkostu told his kohai with a closed eyed smile

"Yeah, congratulations. Although I don't know how I feel about Sukuna, but I am happy to know you Baka won't go dying on me"

Kugisaki Nobara told Yuji

Megumi just nodded with a soft smile on his face

He was really happy for their teammate. Although neither Nobara or Megumi ever said it out loud but they dreaded about the day when Yuji would eat all the fingers of Sukuna

They know that day, he'll probably die

But now it seems other wise and they couldn't be any happier with the arrangements

All the students, one by one congratulated a dazed and overwhelmed Yuji

After the initial shock, Gojo's lip's stretched to a smile

As he came closer to Yuji, he wrapped an arm around him

"Congratulations, Yuji-kun.... It looks like the universe wants you to live a long life. So... Let's see who is the reason for you long living life "

He said with a grin that made Yuji sweat drop and gulp
