The first thing Zanya noticed when class started was the absence of a hooded figure in the classroom. Kurai wasn't present for class.

The second odd thing Zanya noticed was that the history teacher was not present so another teacher had to take charge.

The third thing happened at the last class when the speakers called for all the students to assemble in the hall for an announcement. Usually, if there was an announcement, the principal would just announce it through the speakers.

Everyone gathered in the hall and the principal walked up the stage, looking grave. Everyone was worried, no matter how depressing or hopeless the situation was, you could always find him smiling to comfort you. Something was wrong.

"Today, I'm sorry to say that there are so very grave news. Yesterday, a teacher was found unconscious and tied up under a desk. A mark of a pentagon was found on her arm." he let the news sink in as the students murmured worriedly.

"The teacher goes by Mrs Kina. She is unharmed, only groggy of the drugs injected to her. This is only the first piece of news."

"The second piece of news issue that a student by the name of Kurai Kurosawa was found by the hallway, bleeding badly. We concluded that he was attacked by the same person and he was sent to the hospital immediately. We will be visiting him soon when his condition has stabilised. This is all I have to say. "

So that's what happened to Kurai and the teacher! Zanya realised. Both he and Hiroki shared a look. They knew it had to be the same culprit but... Should they tell the authorities?

Zanya nodded, indicating that he believed they should tell them. Hiroki sighed and shrugged. They both made their mind to inform the principal, after the assembly.

What? She thought to herself groggily. She opened her eyes and light flooded into them. She regretted it immediately and groaned. She covered her eyes and sighed in relief as the glaring rays of the sun was safely away from her eyes.

Wait... Where am I? She suddenly realised that she was in a different surrounding. She immediately went in alert but groaned as she bumped her head into something.

She took a look around, white bedsheets, white walls and a clean dusty smell in the air. It was the hospital. The door slid open to reveal a nurse in a white uniform.

"Kurai Kurosawa, right?" she nodded. "Here, in your records, it is written that you are a male. But as we can see... You are a female." The nurse gestured towards her.

"My sexuality is female but my gender is male." The nurse just looked at her, unconvinced. "Just what... "She pulled out the needle that connected her to the drip out of the flesh of her arm and pulled the nurse close, the needle above her eye.

" You know what happens when I push this needle in your eye, don't you?" She stared into the nurse's blue eyes as she quivered in fright.

Sweat dripped down the nurse's neck and she breathed sharply, aware of the danger. She stared into the patient's cold dead eyes. Her pupils dilated in fear as the needle gleamed in the light menacingly.

" If you dare breath a word of this to anyone... You'll pay a very painful price... How would it feel, I wonder, if you wander the world blindly, never to see the colours of the sky again? Remember well, I'm watching you."

She let go of the trembling nurse and watched as she stumbled out of the room on shaky legs. Her eyes never left the nurse until she was far out of sight.
