Torchwick: Monkey Boy, here's your present!  Happy Birthday!

Roman points his cane at a dust shipment container, which explodes.  Ken starts to sniff the air.

Ken: What's that smell? It smells delicious!

Ruby: Ken!  Your tail is on fire!

Ken turns back and his eyes widen.  She wasn't lying!  Ken started to panic like any anime character would do.

Ken: Put me out!  Put me out!  Put me out!  Put me out!

Meanwhile...

???: That's Broly's son?  He doesn't seem...

???: Scary?  Enraged?  Vengeful?

???: Strong.  Towa, this is a waste of time...

Towa: Patience, Mira. You will see...

Mira: Hmph... Fine.  When it's time, he will be destroyed.

Ken: Author!  Why do you make me suffer!?

Death~Kun: It's for the comedy.  It keep the readers from leaving.

Ruby's POV

Me: Who are you talking to?

Ken: Nobody...  That doesn't matter now!  Roman is escaping!

Ken begins to charge a green blast in both of his hands.

Ken: Omega Blast!

Balls of energy blast the bullhead, but the energy doesn't destroy it.  Then he realizes he screwed up.  Glynda was there.

Ken: I can explain! I-

Glynda: Quiet!  Shield the girl from the debris!

Ken: Fine...

Me: I can help.  I-

Ken: I swear...  She thinks she can boss me around...

We turn and see Glynda fighting a glowing woman who sends glass at Glynda.  We get hit by some of it, but Ken got hit more.  I start to see Ken's reaction.

Ken's POV

I was livid.  My saiyan instinct was all over the place.  How dare they attack a dust shop?  How dare they attack me?!

Me: How dare you attack my Ruby!?

I start to lose control.  I started to bulk up, and my appearance changed.  My hair turned golden, and my eyes turquoise.

Me: Roman!  You are going down!

I fly at Mach 3 towards the bullhead and kick it away.  Then I black out.

Timeskip, Ozpin's office

I wake up to see an angry Glynda and a nervous Ruby.  She is blushing for some reason.  I look down to see my shirt is gone, and my body is pure muscle.

Glynda: Reckless!  Hot headed!  You may have managed to survive an encounter with a criminal.  If it were up to me, I would send you home with a pat on the back...

Ruby's eyes light up.  I, however, knew what was coming so I gave no reaction.

Glynda: And a slap on the wrist!

Ozpin enters at that moment with two plates and his trademark coffee mug.  He places one plate in front of cookies in front of Ruby.  In front of me, he put a ton of my favorite foods on a single platter.  Ruby and I start to chow down.

Ozpin: If I may Glynda, I would like to speak with these two.  Ken, I understand you tried to stop a robbery.  I raised you to stay away from trouble...

Me: But Dad!

Ozpin turns to Ruby.

Ozpin: Your eyes are silver...

Ruby: Okay?

Ozpin: I haven't seen that fighting style in ages, which was used by a dusty, old crow...

Ruby: Thas mah unfcle...

Ozpin raises one brow.  Ruby swallows the cookies she was chewing.

Ruby: That's my uncle, Qrow.  He teaches at Signal.

I tune out the conversation and concentrate on my ki...  I stop when dad starts to talk again.

Ozpin: Well I'll see you two at Beacon.

Me: Wait, what?!

Ruby squeals in excitement.  I gotta admit that was adorable...

Me: Well...  This was an eventful morning...

(A/N) I know it was nighttime in the show, but I said, "Screw it!  Ken need to train early, and he might as well relax... before he meets the girl who is in the pairing I made."
