Kokichi sat alone on the couch in Shuichi's and his apartment. Letting out a sigh he checked his phone. "He should be home by now..." Kokichi said his paranoia growing. He gulp down some saliva and grabbed the TV remote flipping through channels. He thought about his relationship with Shuichi.

"Hey koki" Shuichi said shifting his gaze from his book to the shorter male inhaling breakfast. "Hmmm" Kokichi hummed swallowing the food. "Do you think... when we're older we can.. adopt?" Shuichi questioned avoiding eye contact with his boyfriend. "Of course Shumai!" Kokichi said while getting up and embracing him.

Panting Kokichi sat straight up tears rolling down his cheek. He let out a choked sob making the other male stir. Kokichi pulled his knees to his chest and sobbed. He soon felt arms wrap around him causing him to yelp. But he soon relaxed in the embrace. Sobbing harder Shuichi finally asked "What's wrong babe?". Silence, no sobs, no whimpers, just silence. Kokichi didn't want to answer but  knew Shuichi would pry it out of him. "N-nothing..." he murmured causing the Shuichi to sigh. "Koki." Shuichi said sternly running his hand through the other's hair. "Y-you won't l-l-leave me right?" Kokichi questioned before sobbing again. "Never! I promise." Shuichi said placing a kiss on the boy's lips.

Smiling Kokichi layed his head on Shuichi's shoulder as Shuichi layed his head on Kokichi's. The 2 boys were watching the sunset as Kokichi let out a sigh nuzzling Shuichi's neck. Suddenly Shuichi stood up. Confused Kokichi cocked his head to the left. The Shuichi did what Kokichi never expected. He got down on one knee. "Kokichi Oma, as soon as I layed eyes on you you stool my heart. Your eyes, your smile, your lies, I love all of you! From your head to my toe. You always make me laugh and when you're happy I'm happy, when you're sad I'm sad. I want to spend the rest of my life with you! I promise I'll never ever leave you! So Kokichi Oma will you marry me?" Shuichi asked bright red. Kokichi has tears running down his face. "YES! YES!. Kokichi said throwing his arms around Shuichi's neck causing him to stumble back. Laughing Shuichi kissed Kokichi.

Kokichi sighed smiling at all the good times he had with his Shumai. Although they had some bad times they had a lot more good. His thought got cut of by his phone ringing. Smiling he looked at the caller I.D. His smile fell as he picked up the phone. "Is this Kokichi Oma?" A women asked on the other side. "Y-yes..." he stuttered. "I'm sorry to say but your fiancé just got in a car crash." Kokichi's heart dropped. "Ok" his voice was shaking "thank you..." before she could reply he hung up the phone. Grabbed a jacket and ran to the hospitals.

It's been 2 weeks and Shuichi's condition was getting worse. He woke up but all he can do is smile at Kokichi and squeeze his hand. Kokichi came in the room with some of Shuichi's favorite food, Shumai, he always loved it because Kokichi called him. Kokichi open the door and he dropped the food. His eyes watered as one sound rang Beeeeeep. He was flatlining. Kokichi ran over and hugged him crying. "No! DON'T LEAVE ME!" He cried as doctors ran in.
June 20, 12:37 pm, Shuichi Sahara died.

Kokichi looked at his beloved's grave. He fell to his knees. "Y-you s-said you would never ever leave..." he whispered clutching the ring on his left ring finger. "YOU LIED! YOU SAID YOU'DE NEVER LEAVE ME! THEY CALL ME THE LIAR." He cried. "Y-you said you'd never leave.....".
