After two hours of much needed rest Mizuki was ready to go out with her future parents, looking through her clothes Mizuki didn't know what to wear. And the mirror had stopped working, which she had put down to Chaos closing the time gate. After finally deciding on a white denim skinny jeans, pale blue crop top and white cardigan Mizuki was ready. Zeke was still with Artemis and Luna so she decided to take Luna P with her, she liked having the small toy with her because it was like having a piece of her sister with her. Picking up a shoulder bag and slipping her brooch inside it Mizuki made her way out, Seiya had gone to meet up a little earlier with Usagi so Mizuki would be walking alone. Once out of the apartment block Mizuki began to make her way to the park where they agreed to meet, Luna P was floating along next to her which caused some strange looks from people. Thinking quickly Mizuki changed Luna P into a keyring and attached it to her bag, then checking her watch she made her way to the park. 

"Usagi! Seiya!" Mizuki called to them seeing them talking by the fountain.

Running over to greet them Mizuki smiled, it felt weird to be alone with them since she had only ever been alone with the starlights. Usagi was a little nervous being with Mizuki because she still didn't trust her feelings, it was like she wanted to believe that the future Mizuki had experienced was a good one but she still wasn't sure if she could abandon Mamoru even though she had seen that he was happy in Mizuki's future.

"So um where do you both want to go?" Mizuki asked.

"I don't know, where would you like to go Mizuki?" Seiya asked resting a hand on her shoulder.

"How about the art gallery? Marina said that she had a painting there, we might even see the girls there too. I want them to know that you know about who I really am." Mizuki explained.

Usagi internally groaned, an art gallery? Why of all places did Mizuki want to go there? Usagi thought it must be the Seiya part of her, but after glancing over at him decided that she had got the fascination of art from someone else.

"Why do you want to go to the art gallery Mizuki?" Usagi asked.

"I've always loved art, you helped to install that love in me Usagi." Mizuki said as they walked.

"Really? Me?" Usagi asked confused.

"Yes, when you became queen you found a love for art. Most of it was art that was brought from the old kingdom on the moon, you had them put up around the palace to remind you of your family there. Although the paintings of the moon royalty you left there, that's what Queen Serenity told me anyway." Mizuki said and Usagi paused.

"Queen Serenity?" She asked.

"Yeah, her spirit lives on the moon. When I was gathering the planet crystals I went to the moon before going home to Kinmoku, it was there I found out who I was. And I met Queen Lunaria and Queen Serenity, they are both wonderful people too." Mizuki said.

Usagi smiled slightly at the thought that Mizuki had seen her mother, when Usagi first found out that she was Princess Serenity she was confused at how she could have two mothers. But after speaking with Luna and Queen Serenity her self she was able to understand a little more, and looking at Mizuki she could see that Mizuki was taking it easier than she did. Once they made it to the art gallery Mizuki was very eager to look for more of Marina's work, taking a look at the map of the gallery Mizuki began to walk around reading everything she could about the paintings. Usagi had to admit that the paintings in this gallery were beautiful, some of them she felt looked more like pictures than paintings.

"Mizuki!" A voice called.

Usagi looked and saw that it was one of Mizuki's friends, she had blue hair and matching eyes and was dressed in a white dress with a blue belt and denim jacket.

"Hi Marina, I brought Usagi and Seiya to see some of your paintings." Mizuki explained and the blue haired girl was a little shocked. "Also don't worry, they know who I am."

"Oh that's good, makes it easier for us. Now come this way Mizuki, the painting I did of you is here." Marina said taking Mizuki's hand in her own.

Usagi and Seiya looked at each other as they followed Mizuki and Marina, Usagi had to admit she was intrigued by the painting that Marina had painted of Mizuki. As they followed the two of them they came to a large painting, there was a big crowd around the painting and it took their breath away. (Imagine the photo of Princess serenity is Mizuki holding her sceptre) 

The painting of Mizuki was amazing, with her black and pale violet hair so carefully painted it was as if Mizuki was posing as the painting, her dress was so carefully painted too that Usagi was almost tempted to reach out and stroke the soft folds of the painting.

"Marina it's amazing!" Mizuki complimented looking at the painting. "How did you manage that without me posing for you?"

"I remembered you saying that you never liked posing for a painting so I secretly took a photo of you and used that, not too bad am I right?" Marina asked as the other girls walked over to them. "Look who I found."

"Hello Mizuki." Tamia said smiling. "Day out?"

"Yeah, with my parents." Mizuki said smiling. "They know who I am, and I had to bring them here to show them the paintings that you've done Marina. How did the bracelets turn out Tamia?"

Each of the girls held their wrist out to show silver bracelets with the gems inside of a flower, the girls spoke for a couple of minutes and then Mizuki saw that Seiya and Usagi were looking a little uncomfortable.

"I'm going to head out now, I'll meet up with you girls soon ok?" Mizuki said and then said good bye before leaving the gallery with Usagi and Seiya. "Why don't we go to the cafe? You can ask me some questions then." 

"Sounds good to me, I was getting hungry too." Usagi said. 

"You're always hungry." Mizuki said laughing. "Even in the future, you're always asking the cook for snacks when you're in meetings."

"Sounds like you Odango." Seiya said as Usagi pouted.

The trio made their way to the cafe with no interruptions, once inside each of them ordered a plate of food. Once it arrived the questions began.

"So Mizuki, what was your life like? Were you lonely?" Usagi asked remembering how Chibi-Usa had felt.

"No I was never lonely, I never had chance to be lonely. You would always make time for me, or if you couldn't not go to a meeting then I would be with either you Seiya or playing with the scouts. They taught me pretty much everything I know how to do, although you Seiya taught me how to play piano." Mizuki explained while taking a bite of her sandwich.

"And what about school?" Seiya asked.

"Well I was taught everything in the palace by Mercury-sensei until I was about to turn twelve, then I went to public middle school followed by high school. Of course everyone there was on the same level as me because Mercury would often teach classes at the schools, when she wasn't taking care of Fay that is." Mizuki said smiling. "It was a pretty good life."

"And it will be again Mizuki, we'll help you with everything we can. Until we can get you home to your family." Usagi said wiping some sauce from her mouth.

"I agree." Seiya said and then saw Mizuki tense.

"Phage." She said and left her food half finished.

Running out Mizuki pulled her brooch from her bag, holding it high she transformed into Cosmic Sailor Moon. Holding her staff tightly in her hand Mizuki focused on the three Phages in front of her, quickly sending a signal to her scouts she watched as Eternal Sailor Moon and Sailor Star fighter came running over to her. Each of them wanting to protect her.

"You two need to stay back, my scouts will be here soon." Mizuki instructed.

"We're going to fight with you!" Usagi said, her voice firm.

"Usagi you need to be kept safe!" Mizuki said, and with that her scouts all turned up each of them holding their weapons.

Usagi and Seiya watched the link between the scouts, without them saying a word each of them separated and began to deal with the Phage. Mizuki was using her staff to protect each of her scouts as they fought, firing attacks back at the phages. Both Seiya and Usagi were shocked to say the least, they knew Mizuki was strong from the previous battles they had seen her in. But this one? It was like she was a commander and the scouts were her soldiers.

"Now!" Mizuki yelled and each of the scouts backed off leaving half beaten Phages, holding her staff high in the air Mizuki felt the moonlight shine on her skin. Crying out she yelled "Moonlight! purification!" 

Watching as the phages turned back into people Mizuki sighed, she knew that sooner or later they would need to fight Galaxia. And she didn't really want to wait much longer, she wanted to find out where she was and finish her and Chaos once and for all.

"Princess?" Esme asked walking to Mizuki.

"Yes?" Mizuki replied turning to face her.

"Are you ok? You seem troubled." Esme asked, and Mizuki saw that all her scouts looked a little uneasy.

"I'm fine, I just wish the fighting was over." Mizuki said and released her transformation. "don't worry though, once I've defeated Chaos everything will be ok."

With that the scouts left Mizuki with her parents, turning to face them Mizuki smiled.

"I promise you both that everything will be ok, I will make sure that the two of you have a future." Mizuki promised.

Usagi and Seiya looked at each other, there was something that didn't sit right. Wouldn't Mizuki have said that they would have a future? As in the three of them? Was she planning on doing everything she could, and that included sacrificing her self for them? Distracting the two of them Mizuki linked her arms with them and began to take them to an amusement park, she had always seen them but had never been in one. Mizuki was always busy with things in the palace when the amusement parks opened, and before she had chance to go in one all of them had been destroyed by Chaos. Usagi could tell that Mizuki was distracting them, but it didn't help the feeling of dread she was feeling deep inside her. 

Seiya was feeling dread too, looking at this spirited young girl he wondered if Usagi would stay with him after everything was over. And if not what would happen to this girl? Would she simply vanish? Or would her future still come to pass in another time line? And if Usagi did stay with him would they both be truly happy? And he also had a feeling of dread that Mizuki was going to die, she was going to be killed here in this time leaving her family to wonder where she is. And leaving her people to face the wrath of this 'Chaos', in that moment he swore that he would protect both Usagi and Mizuki. He knew that they were both important to him, and he had to keep them safe no matter what.
