Minako's POV
I slammed the door to my house. I was so tired. I threw my bag on my couch and threw off my shoes to the corner. I limped over to the couch and turned on the TV.
"Why are you so late?" I heard a voice ask. I jumped and turned seeing my mother. I smiled nervously. I thought she would be out today...like always.
"And how do you know I am late? You are barely even here. You don't even bother doing anything to eat. I always do the things around here. I would say this is more my house than yours mother." I said. It was true. I am always here if not out because of school and hanging out but I spend more time here than my mother.
"You don't talk to me like that Minako." She snapped.
"Mother I am tired,and I wasn't trying to snap at you, I was just stating the obvious. You are always working and I stay here. Alone. It's not like you let me invite my friends over." I said. She stayed silent which meant that it was the end of this conversation. I decided to move to my room to do homework. Something I do very rarely.
After a while I finished, for once. I went towards my door when I heard the faint voice of my mother talking to the phone.
"Yes. I'll be there right away." That was the only thing I made out when I heard the phone being placed back. I stepped back. I sighed. Ever since she got promoted she has spent less time in the house. At first it was ok until I didn't even see her for weeks. I have tried telling her that she will soon get too tired to even work but she would just brush me off.
I breathed in and went out. I saw her getting her bag and getting a paper ready to write on.
"You go already. I know that you have work again. So go tire yourself out." I muttered. She turned to me with a surprised expression.
"Minako this for yo-"
"My own good. Yes I know. That is always your excuse. See you in a week or so." I said and went back in not looking behind me. I have learned to give up on her. She will never listen.
-NEXT DAY-
Walking to school early in the morning made me get my mind off what happened last night. I will still arrive late but...at least I would give my friends the smile they need. While walking I was pulled right next to a bush.
"Why are you going to school early?" I heard the familiar voice of Yaten-Kun. I looked at him and gave him my best smile.
"It was a dare." I chirped out, the best I could do. He eyed me suspiciously.
"You are lying Minako." He said. Man his guy is good, but I am not giving up yet.
"No I'm not. Plus I just wanted to go and play a bit of volleyball before school started." I said. He still didn't take it.
"So why did you have a depressed look? I know you Minako, what is going on?" He asked. I stayed silent. I don't want to bother anyone with my problems. Not that they are as huge as the yoma but still.
"You shouldn't worry I am perfectly fine!" I said and brushed past him walking towards the school. I heard him follow behind me. I made myself smile so he wouldn't notice.
"Mep!!!!!! Gotta run!!! Gotta run!!" I heard a high pitched voice say. We both turned seeing a running Catherine. She looked up and saw us. She tried to stop herself but only managed to crash against us making us three fall.
"Sorry!!!" She cried out.
"It's ok...but you are heavy." I said. Her green eyes widen and immediately got off only to make Yaten fall over me. Our eyes met and I felt my face flush.
"Got to run!!!!" She chirped out and ran off. I would have stayed in that position but I know people would think we were doing something else and it would be a huge chaos.
"Umm...Yaten-Kun...are you going to...move?" I asked. He nodded and stood up. He lend me his hand and helped me up. I brushed of the dirt off my skirt and took a hold of my bag. "Well I didn't plan my walk to be like that." I said under my breath.
"How did you plan it?" He asked.
"Eh...i don't know really." I lied. He shook his head.
"You are a really bad liar." He muttered. Ouch? I puffed my cheeks and ran to the school to get further away from Yaten-Kun's questions. Of course I wasn't paying attention and bumped into Neal.
"Aino-san you should really watch where you are going." He said.
"Sorry!" I said and stood up, running to the school. I don't know why I ran inside since I was on time. I painted.
"Woah. Since when do you wake up early to come to school Minako?" Mako asked. I looked up to her. I don't know how this girl keeps growing, I mean soon she will be as tall as a tree. Maybe that's why her attacks are based off plants.
"Since today." I breathed out. She raised an eyebrow curiously. I really don't want to explain. I sighed.
"So how is Joe after what happened yesterday?" I asked. Her face turned to curious to concerned.
"He got hurt a bit. I am really worried about him. We need to protect everyone." She said clinching her fist. I could only nod in agreement.
"Minako why did you She to run?" I heard Yaten-Kun's voice say. I turned and gave him a smile.
"Because I can!" I chirped out running off again.
Yaten's POV
I breathed heavily. That girl will be the death of me. For gods sake can't she stand still for once!!!!! I groaned in annoyance.
"You do know she won't stop, right?" Mako said. I looked up at her.
"Yeah. That girl will tire me out." I groaned out. She chuckled. I growled a bit and headed to our class.
Upon arriving I saw Minako on her desk. Sleeping. Why wake up early if you are just coming to sleep? I sweat dropped.
"Oi! Yaten!" I heard the voice of my annoying brother. I turned and saw the ravened haired boy waving with a huge grin on him face.
"What?" I muttered out.
"What too you so long? I know you like coming later than us but that was too much. Even Minako beat you to class, which is really rare." He said.
"I kinda gave her the advantage." I replied. A playful energy filled his eyes, the energy that filled him almost all the time. I felt uneasy now. Ohh god... what is he up to now?
"So...you too came together?" He said wiggling his eyebrows. I groaned and sat down, slamming my bag on my desk which made Minako wake up.
"You go already!" She half shouted making everyone turn to her. She sank down on her chair in embarrassment.
"I thought you came to school to learn not to sleep." I said bluntly crossing my arms. She pouted and took out a paper starting to draw. "That doesn't count as learning." I told her.
"I wasn't doing this for that." She said. I raised an eyebrow and opened my mouth to say something in return but the bell rang. Running was heard through the hallways. I bet I know who it is. The door opened revealing an out of breath Usagi. She ran to her desk next to Seiya and let out a sigh of relief.
"Slept in again?" Seiya asked.
"Yeah." She replied with a small yawn. She then looked over my shoulder. Her blue eyes widen.
"Minako-Chan how did you get here so fast?" She asked shocked. Minako lifted her head from her drawing and looked at Usagi. She gave her a wink and a peace sign.
"Secret!" She chirped out and the teacher came in, telling everyone to sit down.
-TIME SKIP-
After all those classes we finally were able to go to lunch. Now I sound like Minako. We sat down on our usual spot which was one right under a tree. Usagi like always asked everyone if we can share even though she brought lunch. Mako too sweet to even say no accepted. I sweat dropped.
Ami and Taiki were reading a book while eating not wanting to take their eyes off the pages. Those two are more in common than I thought. Seiya...was just being him, by that I mean teasing me like crazy. I can handle it for a while but when I snap that's when he gets it.
"So when is the wedding?" He asked. I choked getting everyone to look at me.
"Seiya?! You little piece of- come here!" I growled and started to go over him. I would have punched him but then I would have to deal with Taiki scolding me. We rolled until we fell to the river near by, getting soaking wet. I spitted out the water from my mouth and groaned in annoyance.
"Hey?! What the heck was that for?! Now we will get a cold!" Seiya growled at me. I glared at him, making him flinch.
"You two are acting like kids." Ami said from behind us. We looked at her as well as Taiki who wasn't all happy about our behavior.
"How many times do I have to tell you two to stop fighting with each other?" He said.
"No matter what you say Seiya won't stop his teasing." I said narrowing my eyes to my ravened haired brother. Suddenly we heard a scream. We became alert. Why do these attack happen when we are around the area? I clicked my tongue and we all run off to transform.
After that we ran to where the scream came from seeing Lekothea with a student. They wore the same uniform as Rei. She fell to the ground unconscious. The shard over her turned black.
"Dang it!!!!!!! Why just why?!?!? This is so annoying!!!!" Lekothea growled.
"Hey!!! Mind leaving her alone?!" I growled at her. She looked at me and smirked.
"Ok then." She said and started to go towards another direction. What the...
"We need to follow her." Sailor moon announced. We all started to run to catch up to Lekothea.
"Why didn't she do a black hole?" Mako asked out loud.
"Not sure." I replied for everyone. I don't like this. She always uses a black hole to go off but this time she ran away. I started to see her up a head, jumping from roof to roof. I sped up and so did my sisters. She isn't getting away from us. She stop at the park and seemed to have disappeared. We all jumped down the roof we were on and looked around. I didn't see anything but I felt uneasy.
"Here I am!" I heard her say and I was kicked to the face. I fell hard on the ground knocking the air out of me.
"Healer!" I heard Venus's voice call out with worry.
"Now...shadow tsunami!!!!" Lekothea yelled out and a huge wave of dark water wash over the whole area. I breathed in as much ate as I could before it engulfed me.
I saw a shard of ice go over to Venus who was unconscious. I swam towards her and did my attack to deflect the shard. I took a hold of Venus and swam up. I breathed in the fresh air and swam towards a tree, who's branches weren't submerged into the water. I climbed up with Venus with me. I painted and coughed out water. I didn't realize I even drank any. I then saw her cough out too. She opened her eyes and looked strait into mine.
"Mm...what the heck happened?" She asked out weakly. I cracked a smile which she gave me a smile back.
"Hey you two love birds...if you are done staring at each other... we need to defeat Lekothea." I her fighter announce. I felt slightly annoyed but I knew he was right. I sighed and jumped on the bridge that was near, followed by Venus.
"What was that stunt she pulled?" Mercury asked.
"Not sure but it seemed she was trying to lure us..." Maker trailed off. Huh?
"Where is She anyways?" Sailor moon asked.
"Probably ran off like she always does." Fighter said casually.
"But i still feel a presence." Jupiter said.
"She was trying to distract us!" Maker than exclaimed.
"You guys are good...but you are too late!" Lekothea's voice was heard and then I saw shards of ice going towards us. By instinct I protected Venus and we both fell right into the water again but didn't drown since it was already getting soaked by the ground. Lekothea laughed.
"Right now Ballona must have the red gem's essence! So our fight from yesterday was for nothing!!!" She said with a huge smirk on her face. What?!?!
"No!!!" Jupiter said but was stopped by a shard of ice that came up from the earth.
"You are not going anywhere." Lekothea said and did an attack similar to Mercury's towards us. We all jumped dodging the water. When it hit the ground it made it into ice. Great!!!!!
"We can't be touched by the water!" Maker said.
"Yeah i already saw that captain obvious!!!" I snapped and dodged the water.
"Jupiter oak evolution!!!!!!!!"
"Mercury aqua rhapsody!!!!!"
"Venus love and beauty shock!!!!!!!!!" They all yelled and their attacks emerged into one going towards Lekothea who didn't manage to dodge it. Smoke filled the air making us unable to see our surroundings.
"Mars burning sniper!!!!!!!" I heard a voice yell and the smoke cleared off. I now could see mars.
"Mars!!" Sailor moon exclaimed.
"You guys need a hand?" She asked.
"Ugh!!! Fire i hate it!!!!! You little brat!!!" Lekothea growled.
"You guys are the brats!!!" We heard a familiar voice say. We all turned and saw sailor moonlight on a roof. Her blue hair being blown by the wind. She had an irritated expression on her face.
"You?" Lekothea said with amazement.
"You thought we wouldn't notice your plan? Trying to distract the senshi to go somewhere else and then trying to get the shard? Shame on you dark sailor of the underworld." She said her blue eyes now glaring at lekothea. Her eyes...they look similar to Seiya's. Who the heck is she.
"I have no idea what you are talking about sweet heart." Lekothea said acting dumb even though I could hear in her voice the irritation she had.
"The red gem won't be take away. You won't get another gem!" She yelled at her and took out her fan. While she was entertained I saw the rest getting ready to attack.
I was about to take out my laser but then I sensed a presence behind me and I kicked whoever was behind me. When I turned I saw nothing even though I swear I kicked something. I then saw a ghost like thing. I stepped back and then it turned into a million.
"Oh ho ho! You guys are idiots!" I heard a voice say. I couldn't see who they were but I sensed another dark presence.
"Irene dove wings!!!!!" A slice of light made the ghosts get away from me and go to another person. I looked up and saw Ballona. She was glaring at Irene with Flora.
"You three are annoying." She muttered and disappeared in the black hole she was hovering over. Lekothea looked at us and clicked her tongue, disappearing as well.
The three sailor dwarfs went towards us.
"You were lucky we can sense these dark sailors." Irene hissed.
"Yeah so lucky." Moonlight muttered. Irene glared at her. Flora gulped and then handed Jupiter the red essence.
"You better check on him." She said with a small smile and turned to her fellow senshi. "Now let's go before you guys make a scene. VH." She said and disappeared.
"You guys better be careful. We are now dealing with two dark sailors. We don't want any of you dying for your dumbness. MM" Irene said in a warning tone disappearing.
"MF!" Moonlight shouted and also went away in front of our eyes. I scoffed and dis-transformed. Venus also did and we all walked off to the school. Apparently no one saw that we were gone and we were lucky our teacher was nice and didn't make us stay after school.
-TIME SKIP-
Minako's POV
After classes were done I headed home but not before I saw Yaten with Fiona. Anger rose up in my body.
"So would you accept?" She asked.
"I really don't have intentions of doing that with anyone so no thanks." He muttered but Fiona didn't let him go off.
"What Does she have that I don't?!" She demanded. He glared at her.
"I don't know who you are talking of but let me tell you that I am lot interested!" He growled at her. She leaned into him.
"Will this change your mind?" She asked. I had enough and stepped out taking Yaten by the wrist. I made him go behind me.
"That is enough Fiona!!!! You heard him!!! Leave him!!!" I shouted at her. Her brown eyes went wide but then she scoffed and went away. I let out a sigh and turned to him.
"You ok?" I asked. He nodded. I gave him a small smile and walked off but I was pulled back by him.
"Thanks." He said quietly.
"Welcome!" I chirped out the best of my ability.  He then leaned in and placed a kiss on my forehead. I felt myself burn up. He leaned back and walked off, leaving me frozen.
??? POV
I saw them have their moment and I smiled. Well seems like things are going like they suppose to be. I turned and ran off to my house.
