Two years later

I woke up to kiibo hugging my arm muttering about how he's going to save me. I chuckled he must be having that superhero dream again!

Our peaceful moment was interrupted by our daughter eri crying. I wiggled out of Kiibos grasp and scooped her up into my arms.

"shhh baby it's alright daddy's here" I said gently. She soon calmed down and nuzzled into my chest. I guess she just wanted attention.

I lay back down in bed with my adorable family. I kissed kiibo and eri on the forehead and drifted back to sleep.
