PERSEPHONE ELOWEN and Pete Mitchell have been best friends since they were in diapers. People always said that they were practically attached at the hip because it seemed like they were always seen together. Some other kids their age thought it was weird that Percy had a boy best friend and Pete had a girl best friend, but they didn't care. All that mattered was that they cared about each other and enjoyed hanging out with each other.

They were next door neighbors and so one day they had decided on making a treehouse that would be their secret hideout. With help from their parents, they made the treehouse on the big tree that's right between their houses. They even made a bridge attached to the window to Percy's room and the window to Pete's room so they would get to each other's houses quicker.

Everyone thought that they would end up together. They were the type of best friends who acted like they were a couple with their casual display of affection and they know each other better than they know themselves. They even had the same dream. To become a pilot. And to accomplish that dream they both applied to Top Gun. That's where things get interesting.

honestly i only watched the first top gun so i can watch the new top gun & im so glad i watched the first one cause it brought on my love for pete mitchell & you guys top gun: maverick is so so good, it got me falling in love with rooster & miles teller. im defintely gonna be making a bradley bradshaw (aka rooster) fic after im done with this one !
