I open up my eyes, and there Is this wondrous cake, I bet its Belgian chocolate. She knows me inside out. Mad hatter, she’s crazier than anyone on this planet earth.

that took almost 5 minutes I guess, though she had stolen it from the web those words melted my heart and she claps out so loud my ear drums hurt.
Ouch..

Before I could blow them up, "wait" she yells…”what?”… "make a wish" she announces. I nod my head. And I wish…..(make a wish)
Blowing up the candles.. she switches on the lights and the fan…. Wow… from where did this chandelier show up..I’m astonished did she buy it just for my birthday, there’s rose petals falling down as well  she’s gonna be bankrupt at this rate. A new gift for every occasion, myra…never changes. Even the sun and moon might change, but she doesn’t.

She brings out her hand in such an affectionate gesture , I thought she’s gonna hug me, and ended up spreading cream all over my face.

Myraaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! and there’s giggles.

We choke ourselves with cakes and I notice the entire hallway, It’s definitely enchanting. I felt like Alice thrown into a wonderland. I managed to stop the tears at bay, She stands beside me, with a childish grin. The ones that kids make, when they do something mischievous.. It’s the exact same grin.

I pull her by my side.. and plant a kiss on her cheeks.. no amount of words  nor hugs could prove what she has done to me nor the kiss is equivalent. But it’s the least way of expressing my love to her. “Do I see a blush coming up” I scoff. 

In a fuzz she quickly darts away,  and pushes in the sofa. I will help out, I offer but she didn't allow me, placed it in its spot, gestures me to sit and she comes out with….

.....a huge present in one hand and her laptop in another.

Places the laptop into the glass top desk, and plays a recorded video.

The tears kept in check, could no longer hold it, it began to steam live like Netflix, the video started off with my dad, starting up the song Happy birthday to you... Continued by mom and ended it up with my bro, who was singing it off-key on purpose. Dad, blessed me with success combined with good health and a good heart. He said he was so proud of me, that I missed him right, mom began to cry,  forced me to visit them sooner, she wished me all the love and care in the world. Bro ruined the emotional moment, by yelling that he's damn happy without my presence there, he's finally at peace. That dumbo. The video prolonged, and now there were my cousin's, each spreading their love and well wishes. The video ended in the entire family screaming a happy birthday.

I’m awestruck. That no words seemed to form. She played another video of my school and college mates sending their love. Promising to meet up soon, a few excuses they couldn't make it to my birthday.

I look at her, with love exploding from my Heart, and she still chuckles finally handing down the huge present.

As, I opened this box it consist of a rich royal blue salwar, sparkled with golden embroidery works, it looked modish and exquisite.

She just placed me on cloud 9, every single thing she does is too cute, not to adore. What would I do without her. She's beyond compare. The happiness just blocked all other emotions.

“So.. how was it.”

I couldn't react, I felt I might just explode any moment, and that's when she sat beside me, and I embraced her until her bones crackled up. Her warm hug pulled me back to reality.

" You fell for it in the morning right? She chuckled looking at me.

"I was upset in the morning, you looked so casual, like nothing at all was important today. Yesterday you were too tired, so I actually believed you. It was fine with kiran…he gave me this a bouquet and the box of chocolates.
We had brunch at truffles. Later picked some outfits for us at orion mall and strolled around for a while, Coffee at Resto’s cafe and came back, but nothing can top up what you just did for me. You really didn’t have to..

“I love what I’m doing.. so gladly accept it ok..scold me tomorrow I will listen up”.

I hear her tummy grumble." You…? Didn’t have anything the entire day, I rush to the kitchen to find.. the macaroni left untouched."

“What is this Myra.” She looks down, and remains quiet.

“Wait i will cook something..”

“No no…lets order.”

The dinner was fantabulous.
Lying down, she described about her plan, and how she decorated the place and so on..... I took off all the chocolates and placed them in the refrigerator. Past midnight… she fell  asleep spouting, I don’t know if she knows it or not, but I love her more than I actually express it to her, a single wish from her would have enlightened my day, all this just enhanced our friendship, as I watch her slumber… cuddling her up, I gradually sleep.

I woke up… with a start. Something felt weird… somehow… I felt a bit dazed though I slept peacefully. I turn to look at Myra and something wasn’t right…

she felt cold..

that’s when I notice

BLOOD….

All over her

Startled

I YELL…
