Hello! Thank you for clicking on my story! I hope you enjoy reading it! Before you do though, I have a few things to say:

1) I only own Sade and some of the scenes in the story. I made up a few scenes to give the characters some more depth (in my opinion) and relationship develop! All other characters and scenes go to Barry Jenkins, Disney, and others! I wish I could take credit for such a masterpiece, but unfortunately, I cannot.

2) Some of the original scenes got moved around or cut completely. I wanted to story to flow in a certain way, which meant cutting out or changing the movie around. Please note it's not because I hate the movie or that I think it should have been done another way. It's just so the storyline makes more sense in my head.

3) please please please vote for the story! This lets me know that it's good and gets the story out there more for others to find! (I think.)

4) have fun reading it! I put a LOT of work into this story and want you all to enjoy it as much as I did writing it!

5) Please be kind! I'm only one person and can only write so well/so much before I burn out. Of course, I plan to try and finish the story!

6) Taka does NOT get a girl in this story. Sorry, not sorry. I just can't find it in myself to give him a happily ever after. He offered to give his brother up on a silver platter to be murdered. Like yes, Taka does right by helping in the end but he still tried to murder his brother. No, just no. So if you're looking for him to get someone, this is not the right story for you. I MIGHT change the ending just a bit but idk yet, don't hold your breath.
