Black jeans and a jersey? No.
Adidas pants with a white v neck? No.
Basketball shorts with a sweatshirt? No.

tyler would be arriving in fifteen minutes and josh still had no idea what he's going to wear. obviously he looked liked shit the first time they met, so he had to look hella cute this time.

there was different shirts and pants all over the floor of his room and josh was still digging through his closet.

"do you need help?" he jumped a little and turned around in his boxers, seeing his sister abbie at the door. "i mean, kinda but tyler will be here soon so i can't really model outfits." he answered.

"black jeans, that black sweatshirt you have with black doc martins. also wear a beanie, your hair is kinda bed head-ish right now. you're welcome," at this point josh was already digging around for exactly what she said. "oh and josh? i'll clean up your room and hang all these clothes back up when you leave, don't worry about it." abbie smiled before walking out.

josh looked in the mirror bathroom after he had everything on, she chose good. after not longer than five minutes once he was dressed, the doorbell rang. "i got it!" josh yelled out as he ran out of his room and down the stairs to open the door.

there was tyler, as well wearing all black with a bright smile as soon as he saw josh. "hey babe, ready to go?"

"yeah, i left my backpack in the living room. let me go get it." he left tyler standing in the doorway. before he got back, jordan was already talking to tyler. "so, you're tyler?" he asked with a smirk. "yup, that's me." "you're dating joshua?" "yes i am." "interesting."

"JORDAN GO AWAY!" josh blurted out as he returned to the door. they bickered for a moment before jordan turned around and went away.

"sorry about him." the red haired boy apologized, walking out the door. "no it's fine, wait til you meet my brothers and sister." tyler closed the door behind themselves and led josh towards the car, opening the door for the backseat. "after you,"

"hi josh!" tyler's mom greeted as he got in. "h-hi mrs joseph." josh stuttered. "please, i'd rather you call me kelly." "okay." he smiled.

the entire car ride consisted of tylers mom embarrassing tyler about anything she could think of, josh and tyler taking selfies, and hand holding towards the end. josh loved every second.

as they parked in the josephs driveway, a guy with short bleach blonde hair stood outside their door smoking a cigarette. "gerard! if you're gonna smoke please dont leave the bud on ground there, hun." kelly called out of the lowered window. "you got it, mrs j." he nodded.

"as you heard, that's gerard. he can sing like i dont even know what and is an amazing artist." tyler pointed toward the guy now known as gerard. "are you ready?" josh smiled and nodded as they began getting out of the car.

"gee, meet jish." tyler motioned towards one than the other with his left hand, holding joshs with his right. "ah, jish. pleasure meeting you." gerard smiled, sticking his cigarette in his mouth and moving for a handshake. josh cautiously shook his hand.

kelly had already gone inside and before anything else was said between the three, zack came out. "joshy!!!" he snickered, going in for hug. "zacky!" josh squealed in return, letting go of tylers hand to hug him. "finally we meet!" zack whispered.

"i hate both of you." tyler whined, causing them to let go while laughing. "so i barely got a handshake while he gets a hug. unfair." gerard butt in. "do you want a hug too?" josh asked. "i mean i kinda do now-" before gee could finish josh was already hugging him. "you give good hugs." gerard said once they let go. "oh my GOD, can we go inside? josh, are you my boyfriend or literally any other guy i know's boyfriend?" tyler groaned. josh giggled, going to hold tylers hand again, "yours."

by 8, only two other people arrived. patrick and melanie. both of them made josh feel very comfortable fast. melanie was genderfluid and asked josh to alternate between they/she. her hair was half black and half blonde, and they were pansexual. her and patrick were brother and sister, both of them were adopted at a young age. while patrick played tons of instruments, was very gay, light brown hair, and was currently dating a boy named pete who tyler had said is a bad guy. now they currently sat together on the floor, listening to old bands vinyls. all of them could sing really good, especially patrick like holy shit, and zack was basically a rap god.

"where the fuck are ryan and andy?" gerard asked as tyler got up to change the song. "i texted andy earlier and he said that his mom found his weed stash so he's grounded but will sneak out if he can." melanie announced.

"and who knows about ryan, he's probably out hooking up with a guy and will show up at like 2 am completely stoned." everyone snorted at tylers remark.

"we should watch a movie now, i didn't bring every dvd in my house to not watch any of them." patrick suggested, pointing at a large green bag in the corner filled with dvd cases. melanie and patricks family were one of those families where you walk into their house and see five bookshelves filled with every dvd of every movie ever made. "good idea patrick, that is if we'll all agree on one!" zack mimicked patricks cheery voice, causing patrick to roll his eyes. "hey, how about josh chose a movie? he's new to our little clique, it's only fair. but no complaining, all of your movie suggestions will definitely be worse than whatever he chooses." gerard suggested, looking over to josh. everyone but tyler groaned in response and gerard nearly snapped his neck to give them a glare. tyler then intervened "oh cmon, melanie will choose a weird 80s horror cult film, patrick will choose a sad love story, zack will choose a boring action movie, gerard will choose anything where someone gets murdered
or tortured or something," "its true." gerard mumbled "and i will choose anything with cheesy comedy." tyler finished, looking over the josh. "do you want to choose?"

"i-i uh, i guess?" josh agreed. "choose wisely." melanie smiled meanwhile he got up to look through the bag.

after a minute of digging through it, josh held up a dvd case and gasped. "brokeback mountain!"

"okay, as only straight person in the room i'd just like to say-" "SHUT THE FUCK UP ZACK." everyone yelled in unison.

"my makeup will be completely ruined by the end, but lets do it." melanie agreed, everyone else except zack agreeing as well. "fine." he finally said. tyler got up to take the dvd from josh, to go put it in the dvd player. everyone got up on the carpet to move in front of the tv. zack sat on the floor in front of the tv while everyone else were on the two couches. patrick and melanie cuddled up on one with gerard, tyler and josh on the other. tyler lowered his head onto joshs shoulder, intertwining their fingers as he pressed play with the remote.
