The city of New Mombasa was empty nothing but damage vehicles of Civilians, UNSC and Covenant no civilians in sight at all nothing but darkness and Covenant patrols in the area but in a small part of the city was a drop pod stuck to the side of a building and inside was Ezra still strap in. Ezra woke up he blink a dew times to see he was still in his drop pod but the door was stuck Ezra press the emergency button to his door which launch the door off his pod and crush down the street Ezra grab his silent SMG before he grab the bottom of his pod to hang himself before dropping down to the street. Ezra land on the ground he look around to see nothing "this is Ezra Bridger of the Phoenix squadron, do anyone read me!?Ezra said in his com but he got nothing but static "This is Ezra Bridger of the Phoenix squadron calling on all UNSC channels does anyone read me!?Ezra ask but he nothing but static "shit okay just like in training stick to shadows and move quietly Ezra said then he heard something he got to cover as he grab his silent magnum he peek out to see a squad of grunts and one Brute walking up the street but the Brute atop walking and sniff the air "search the area The Brute said as the Grunt split up to check Ezra lower down he sit there quietly as he heard the Grunts get closer Ezra took a deep breathe before he stood up Ezra shot the first grunt in the head which made a second Grunt panic The Brute grab his spikes as the others grunts aim their plasma pistol Ezra toss a grenade at them then he fire a bullet hitting grenade exploding it killings the Grunts and damaging the Brute armour Ezra roll to safety as the Brute drop his spikes and let out a roar he ran at Ezra the Brute look over the cover to see Ezra was gone "looking for me?Ezra ask as he fire his SMG killings the Brute.

Ezra lower his SMG he look around to see nothing else "got to move Ezra said as he follow the road that the Brute came from. Ezra wall down the street keeping a eye out for enemy's Ezra check the corners to see it was clear but he couldn't see "switching to night vision Ezra said as he switch his visor to night vision. Ezra made it to a large open area were a battle happen Ezra saw a Drop pod in the center of area "someone must have been here Ezra said then he heard a loud clang near a building Ezra enter the buildings to see dead Brutes and Grunts bodies with Police bodies as well Ezra walk pass the corpse before heading up stairs he saw blood and burnt marks on the walls Ezra enter a small room were the window was broken and more dead body's laid Ezra look outside before he look on the wall and he spot a helmet that was stuck into a small screen "is that?Ezra ask as he grab it and pull it off Ezra look at the helmet and he recognized it it belong to Dare Ezra look outside as he began to think what happen to her or to his team.

Hera said Kanan drop pod door open and Kanan fell out of his pod "I'm here Hera Kanan said as he get up "where are you?Kanan ask "don't know my pod won't open I'm stuck but is see a police department near my location Hera said Kanan grab his assault rifle from his pod "I think I know where you at I make my way to you Kanan said as he walk to the edge of the building "Kanan?the other's they could be shatter as we are Hera said "I know but right now I need to get to you and quickly Kanan said as a phantoms arrive Kanan grab his rilfe off his back before he jump down. The Grunts walk up the road they open fire at Kanan well The Brutes stood in cover Kanan fire at the Grunts in front of him before he got to cover as the Brutes fire at him Kanan reload his rifle then he stood out firing at a Brute taking it shields down the second Brute went for a punch but Kanan dodge it he grab a spike grenade off the Brute and slam it on it back before kicking him to the first brute before the spike grenade exploded killing both brutes.

Kanan walk down the street making his way to Hera locations "HEY SOLDIER'S!OVER HERE!A soldier said as he and few others step out of cover "man glad to see you made it he said "did you see anymore pods hit?Kanan ask "negative couldn't see nothing after that blast but listen their enemy's on the street mainly brutes but some of these building are open you can flank them well he hit them on the floor He said "excellent Kanan said as he and the soldier's head to the other side Kanan enter the building he ran up the stairs and exit to the second floor Kanan look down to see 5 Brute just standing in the street he saw the Marines in position Kanan signal them to be ready Kanan grab one of his grenade he toss it and it landed near two Brutes that were near some stairs the grenade exploded killing both Brutes the Marines and Kanan open fire at Brutes well The Brute fire back but they were dropping as well Kanan look up to see a small group of Grunts walking down the Street Kanan put his assault rifle on his back before he grab his silent magnum he jump off the second floor and ran at the Grunts he fire his Magnum killings the Grunts Kanan ran around the corner to see more grunts and Brute plus a plasma turret. The Plasma turret open fire Kanan got to cover as the Marines were gun down Kanan peek out and fire at the Grunts killing a few of them but three more plus the turret and the Brute were still firing Kanan reload his rilfe he look to see a plasma Grenade near him. The Grunts and Brute slowly move up Kanan step out of cover and he throw the Plamsa Grenade it stuck to a grunt before exploding killings the others Grunts and the Brute Kanan fire at the last grunt but one of his bullet hit a fusion core near the Grunt it blow up.

Kanan reach the upper part of the street only to find remains of Brutes and Elites as well "Hera we got a problem Kanan said "what kind? Hera ask "we got Elites body's but it look like they were killed by Brute Kanan said "what?I thought their on the same team why killed them? Hera ask "I don't know we find out later Kanan said as a small beam shot by him Kanan look to see a Jackal sniper with more jackal with shields on the ground Kanan got to cover "got a little Jackal problem Kanan said "use a overcharge shot from a plasma pistol it can disable jackal shields Hera said Kanan put his rilfe on his back he grab his Magnum before he peek out and fire a couple of rounds hitting a few jackals Kanan fire at sniper before he toss a grenade into the lift blowing up the jackal and the tower he was standing on. Kanan open the street door were he saw Several wounded Marines behind cover take on the Covenant a female Marine was on top with a battle rifle covering her men Jackal Snipers spotted her and began to fire at her making her stay behind cover she look up to spot Kanan running to her "HEY TROOPER OVER HERE! She said as a Plasma Grenade went off beside her. Kanan reach her he began to cover the Marines as they reach their cover from the snipers "who are you soldier?She ask "Kanan Jarrus leader of Phoenix Squadron Kanan said "glad you here we could use some help She said as she peek out and fire at two grunts that were close to her men "listen we're pin down by those snipers and I need to cover my men if you can get around them and take them out we can move up the street she said Kanan nod his head before he ran into a building door he sneak to through the building to reach the snipers "Kanan!I see movement I think they found me Hera said "Hang on Hera I'm almost there Kanan said "they found me!Kanan- Hera com got disable Kanan started to panic He open the door were the snipers were at Kanan fire at the Snipers killing them a Brute Captain saw Kanan so he let out a huge roar signalling the others Brutes The Marines and the Captain move in together they gun the remaining Grunts before forcing their fire on the Brutes Kanan assist them the Brute Captain armour broke he let out a huge roar before he charge Kanan grab a Carbine off the ground he aim at the Brute head before he fire a round into the Brute head making him collapse in front of him Kanan fire a few more rounds into the brute head "clear!A wounded solder said as he and the other wounded soldiers check the area "well done soldier the Captain said but before Kanan reply the street doors open and two Hunter's were heading to them "Shit Hunter's!Kanan said the Captain look her men to see them nodding thier heads "go soldiers we keep busy she said as she and her men open fire Kanan wanted to stay and help but he had to get to Hera so Kanan to the door taking the other way to avoid the Hunter he reach the door but then the street doors began to close Kanan turn around he saw the Captain standing her ground as she continue to fire at the Hunter then the Hunter lift it metal arm in the air before he slam it down on her just as the street doors close. Kanan ran to Hera location he saw her pod and some Grunts as well "leave my girl alone!Kanan said as he ran to her pod and open fire at the Grunts killing them Kanan reach Hera pods he drop his rilfe and grab the sides he peek inside to see Hera was still inside "Kanan! Hera said with joy "don't worry love I got you Kanan said as he use his strength to pry the pod door off before helping Hera out of her pod but has soon Hera was free she lift Kanan helmet up and kiss him of course Kanan return to the kiss back "you took long but I let it slide this one time Hera said with a smile Kanan chuckle "glad your okay Kanan said but then Hera saw something behind Kanan "Watch out!Hera said Kanan look behind him to see a floating armour alien behind him as it float to them

The alien creature shine a light at them as it got closer but then a sniper round nail it in the head making it drop both Kanan and Hera look behind them to see another ODST it was Chopper. Kanan and Hera were gathering her head when Chopper walk up to them "Chopper glad you made it Hera said as Chopper nod his head "my pod was a few street down from yours had to sneak pass some Covenant Chopper said "see anymore?Kanan ask Chopper shake his head Kanan sigh "alright we need to get up high and see if some of our drone spotted them Kanan said "Kanan the others think they made it?Hera ask "I don't know but if they did we find them now let go Kanan said as he Hera and Chopper began to find the other's in the city.

Ezra look out the window for awhile before he drop Dare helmet "better get going hoping I find anyone Ezra said as he began to walk down stairs. Ezra reach the second floor that when he heard voices he got to cover and peek out to see your grunts in the buildings "did we check here? "No we didn't we better check, I hate searching for humans they sink the Grunts said to each other Ezra check his weapon before he step out of Cover only to find the Grunts were dead and a person was kneeling by one "hey! you there! Friend or Foe?Ezra ask the person stood up to show it was a ODST "Ezra!she said as she took off her helmet to reveal it was Sabine Ezra eyes widen and he lower his weapon then taking off his helmet "Sabine!Ezra said as they embrace each other in a tight hug "what happen to you?i thought I lost you or capture Sabine ask as they broke the hug "I was knock out during my drop I woke up on a side of a building what about you?Ezra ask "my pod land near city highway but I manage to meet up with Captain Rex his men made it they try to retake the city ship port to get birds done here but Covanant came in full force Rex and half of his men escape the others weren't so lucky Sabine said "what about Commander Cody?or Wolf?Ezra ask "last I heard they were trying to retake the city back they had a strong hold near the ONI building with more then a dozen street to secure with the help of UNSC Marines Sabine said "but listen I was tracking a down drone not far if I can get to it I should be able to pull it recorded I could find where the others are including our squad Sabine said "alright we head there and hope we find anyone Ezra said as he and Sabine check their weapons before they start heading deeper into the city.
