Arnav knocks the cabin of commissioner. "May I come in sir.".

Commissioner nodes his head. "Yes arnav please come. "

Arnav enters the cabin and salutes him. But soon his expression changed to hate and disgust seeing ACP Alex infront of him. It's famous in the department that both of them hated the sight of each other. Arnav hates alex because of his way of treating the people. He is always the most corrupted and brutal police officer in the entire department. He never cared about the feelings nor the truth..he just find a sadistic pleasure by verbally and sometimes physically abuse them.

Alex smirked at arnav.

Commissioner cleared his throat. "Arnav there is a problem in Mrs Raizada"s case. As you know most of the people are against you investigating the case. They believe that all you want is to prove your wife's innocence and some has the opinion that you may provide fake evidences to save your wife. There was only two options infront of me. First one is to remove you from the case and the second one is to include alex in your team. And I choose the second one. So Alex will be in your team from now on."

Arnav wide his eyes in shock. "But sir..you know about him naa.." he glared at alex who smirked in return. "We will never get along sir and he is not even a human. You know about his nature. He was suspended many times for his cruel behaviour and how can you include him in my khushi's case". Arnav asked disbelieving.

Commissioner sighed. "That I know arnav. But there is high pressure on me. Can you understand the situation ACP ' s wife is arrested for murdering a well known bussiness man. Everyone wants to handover the case to some other. Because they fear that you will manipulate the evidences. But I know about you and your sincerity. That's the only reason I supports you in this investigation. But there is no way other than including Alex in your team. The choice is yours either include Alex in your team or handover the case to someone else." Commissioner said as a matter of fact.

Arnav sighed helplessly. "Ok sir. I'm ready to include Alex in my team. "

Commissioner patted his back. After saluting him arnav left the cabin followed by alex.

Interrogation room

Khushi is sitting on one chair. The room is dark except for the place she is sitting. There is a table before her with a bottle of water above it. Other than that nothing else is in the room.

Khushi is sitting quietly. Her mind is rewinding about the things that happened. She don't know what is happening around her. She didn't know any karan Mehra then how can she kill him. And the most important part is how did her fingerprints and id proof was there.

Khushi closed her eyes in pain. Thinking about ashi and Arnav tears starts to roll down from her eyes. How can they survive without her. Ashi must be cranky by now for not seeing her mother. Ashi will eat only if khushi feeds her. Even though how much ashi is attached to arnav she needs khushi whenever she is hungry.

"My baby must be crying now...she didn't eat anything" khushi whispered to herself crying.

Suddenly the door got opened and the officers come inside including arnav.

Arnav closed his eyes seeing his khushi looking expectantly at him. She trust him with her life and it's his duty to safeguard her trust in him.

He gestured other officers to leave. Now only arnav and alex is there in the room.

Alex began to question her. "So khushi how did you know karan Mehra".

Khushi shakes her head in deniel." I don't know him. "

Alex chuckled. "Then why did you kill him when you don't know him "

Arnav fisted his hands. But he can't intervene as it's necessary to ask this questions in an interrogation.

"I didn't kill anyone. Why would I kill him. I can't kill anyone." Khushi whispered in a broken voice.

Alex smirked." Then let me tell you what must happened. You have an affair with karan." Khushi looked at him shocked while arnav is trying hard to control his temper.

He continued.." may be blackmailed you about telling your secrets to your husband. As you don't want the world know about your immoral life and affairs you just killed him. Simple." He said with a wicked smile.

Arnav punched his hand on the table. "Enough. ..how dare you talk to my wife like that." .arnav gritted his teeth and looked at Alex furiously.

Alex rolled his eyes. "Calm down sir. Then how did her fingerprints was there in his body along with all the evidences."

"About that we will enquire. But don't you dare to say that once again what you just said before." Arnav said in a low dangerous voice. "For today the interrogation is over. We can discuss everything next day. You can leave. "

Alex gives a fake laugh. "Ok...ok...I'm leaving....but you too need to leave sir. You can't stay here alone with her." Seeing Arnav's glare. "Ok you stay here..but everything is recorded here you can't plan anything. "

After alex left khushi walked near khushi. He held her hand in his and lightly squeezed it. Khushi looked at him crying. "..I haven't done anything arnavji. ..I don't know who is this karan.".she said.

Arnav cupped her cheek and wipes the tears. ."sshh...I know. ...I know my khushi is innocent. Don't worry. ..hmm...I'm with you..we will face it together. .hmm.".he said ensuring her.

Khushi nodes her head relieved. She knows that if her arnavji is with her then there is nothing to be afraid. 
"Arnavji. ..can I see ashi. ..she won't eat anything without me..." she pleaded.

"Don't worry khushi I already called maya to bring ashi her. She is crying for you and me. She will be here in some minutes". Suddenly his phone beeped with a message showing that ashi is here.

He went out quickly and comes with ashi. Khushi runs to ashi seeing arnav entering the room. Ashi is all red by continous crying. She picked ashi in her arms and kissed her continuosly. Ashi too hugged her mumma with her tiny hands and occasionally kissed her mamma's cheeks wetting her.

"Mera bacha..".khushi hugged ashi tightly. Arnav looked at them with a smile.

"Khushi I'm going outside the room. And I will ask them to turn off the camera...they won't turn it off until I'm here. After 10 minutes you start feeding ashi. For the next 30 minutes you can feed her. A woman police constable will be here. She will tell you as soon as I turn off the camera. Ok..".he said patting her cheeks.

Khushi nodes her head. Arnav kissed ashi's cheek which is drenched in tears and walks out. Suddenly something strikes his mind.

I know many of you are upset about the short updates. But I'm helpless guys. My laptop isn't working since months and it's really difficult for me to type long updates through my phone. That's why all my updates are about 1000 to 1200 words. Hope you guys understand.
