The rural area is made up of mostly farmland. Cattle, horses, goats, and chickens are what the farmers keep. Cats that are brave enough might be able to snag a chicken or an egg or two, but there are plenty of livestock guardian dogs in the area, so use caution.

The speed limit in this area is 50 MPH, so watch while crossing. The roads are kept fairly clean, but there might be a bit of litter from those who can't seem to wait till they find a trash can.

There is lots of woodland that surround the farmland properties, which had plenty of prey for cats willing to hunt. But, farmland already attracts lots of mice, so you may not have to stray far. Not all will be so willing to put much work into a meal.

There is one farmer who keeps his barn doors open at all times. The barn is mostly stacks of barrels, that keep his horse and goat feed, and large bales of hay. He leaves a large bowl of dry cat food in the corner. Cats can be possessive over this area. It is warm and has plenty of food, in mice and dry cat food. Not all cats will settle for the dry food, though. It's not in their tastes.

There are a few other farmers that open their barn doors every once in a while, when the mice population has grown too much.
