Isn't an animus but the rope tied around both arms give the wearer the ability to craft anything gold from their talons. If you look closely, the rope made his lower arms weird, that's why he wears those glove things. Typically wears a cloak too to hide his identity because many have tried to steal the animus touched rope. That's a gold choker too. Can potentially break the economy if he wanted to.
