Author: oof, back with another chapter after my vacations. Yay! Holidays are still on but i take summer lessons in german cause lifu is a bitch and i need german and english to enter the college i want in two years. Yay me! *mumbles about how shit life is*

Everyone stares shell shocked at the boy as he said that. Without even thinking, Wendy ran to their sides while ignoring the yells of the Masters to not go near them.

She kneels in front of Zeref and starts checking Natsu. He seemed to be very cold indeed and his fever was really high.

"This is bad...Porlysica-san he really needs help! Can you help us?" She begs her sensei. Porlysica frowns and sighs, walking over to them "fine i will help. Despite anything, he still is a kid...right?' She mumbles the last part to herself so no-one really heard her.

She makes to pick Natsu up but Zeref tightened his hold on his brother "i'll carry him" he says defiantly. He wasn't too sure about trusting her with his baby brother. So he carried him upstairs to the room that Porlysica had.

Afterwards he was send down again with Wendy so she could work on her own. Zeref had instantly protested but Wendy carried him down.

Zeref's pov

I sit nervously on a table, glancing every now and then towards the door. There was a tense silence in the room but i ignored it. I was concerned more about Natsu than what the others' opinions might be.

I look up only when he hear footsteps and someone clearing their throat. It was the onii-chan who always stripped, he didn't have any clothes now either, along with the blond and red-head onee-chans.

"So um...why did you come back to us? I mean, it's not that we don't want you two but...we thought you wouldn't come back after what happened" the onii-san, Gray i think was his name, says a bit akwardly. I look down to my feet

Normal pov

"I don't know anyone else and i needed another magician healer for Natsu...i didn't know what else to do" he confesses with the truthfullness of a kid. Of cource, right now he was a kid, 7 being his age at most. Yet his eyes seemed so old if you gazed deep in them.

Laxus comes over to his side and wraps one arm around his shoulder and rubs his side "don't worry. Porlysica will help Natsu. He'll be running around and about before you even realise it" he assures him gently. Zeref cracks a small smile and nods his head.

The small boy hugs Laxus happily "thanks Laxus-niichan! You are a really good person!" Zeref squeels happily.

All of the girls awwed at that. Laxus was thought to be a brute, of cource, so to see him be so good with Zeref and Natsu well it was more than just cute! It was downright adorable!

Zeref looks up when Makarov came towards him and he frowned. He no longer liked the old man. He was thinking of even taking off the Fairy Tail mark he had. Natsu was thinking the same and rather agreed, a lot.

"Zeref, my boy, you do understand that for coming here you can be arrested now with all of us, guildmasters and one of the council here right? So why did you come here?" Makarov asks sternly. He would protect his brats with his life and Zeref, even as a kid, was dangerous for them.

Zeref frowned at that "yes i am well aware of it. But my baby brother's life is much more important than what you idiots might think!" He yells angrily at them. His eyes bleed red even out of anger.

'Natsu is my only family! I don't care if you prison me or kill me but i won't allow anyone to hurt my little brother!" He yells again. He was so angry he didn't control his magic power and a good amount leaked out.

Even that little that escaped though was enough to make the strongest of all sweat and backed away frightened while some of the weaker ones even passed out. So frightening was his power.

"If you dare touch or try to hurt my baby brother then i will make you regret it, really really painfully" he says in a low dangerous voice. For some moments, it felt like the older version of Zeref was there not the small child one.

But as suddenly as that appeared, it also dissapeared as Natsu opened the door and run inside

'Nii-chan! I feel better! Lookie lookie, i's better!" The small energetic kid cheered while jumping up and down. Zeref grins his Dragneel smile and rushed over to his brother, picking him up and holding him close

"That's good Natsu!" Zeref exclaims happily. He tickles Natsu, causing the younger Dragneel to laugh and giggle and squeel happily "noo nii-chan stahp! This ticklesh stahp!" He says between giggles.

The two played for some time then settled in Laxu's lap to rest some. Natsu had already fallen when Happy sat beside Zeref and looked at him.

"Um Zeref. I am sorry to ask that...how exactly did Natsu get a cold this bad and so fast? The whole time that he was with us he was perfectly fine" Happy says, trying to put it right so the smaller Zeref didn't notice any mistake in what he said. They had all decided to keep what the knew to themselves and not let the kids know. It was too cruel.

Zeref's face falls somewhat as he pulls away from Laxus. He findles with his hands, not sure if he was supposed to say anything. But the cat had done nothing wrong this far and was seen as a friend to him. So he decided to answer

"Natsu was born with a weak body. Usualy he would be fine after a nap but he used a lot of his magic energy and with the rain and all...it put a huge toll on him" he sighs, keeping his head low.

Laxus rubbed the kid's back and Zeref relaxed. Soon he joined Natsu in the nap so the dragon slayer said he will take them upstairs. Once he was gone, everyone looked at each other.

"And now what?" Sting finaly asks to break the silence. Everyone started chit chatting about what they should do.

Makarov sighs and rubs his temple. This was giving him a headache. Thankfully the master from Quadro Cerberous yelled at them all to shut up so they could think of a plan.

And when Laxus returned they finaly had it. They just hoped it would work well for them

"We have decided that we shall keep these two for now. Until we are sure that they can be trusted though they shall stay under supervilance. Another group shall search into their past and find anything they can about them and the 'true bloods' in general" The mermaid heels' master said.

Makarov speaked next "Laxus. You and the Thunder God tribe along with Sting and Rogue shall keep an eye on these two. Team Natsu, Levi, Yukino and Gajeel. You will search about their past and the true bloods. As for the rest of you, go on with your everyday life. That's all!"

And that's how the new life begins..
