Chapter Ten ➳
Bill felt that he had appeased his brother by making him smile. Of course the blonde wasn't all for wrestling and tickle fights, but anything to lighten Will's mood.
"Do you want to invite Wendy up to hang out?" Bill asked, smirking since he assumed Will would chicken out and say no.
Will studied his twin for a moment, wide-eyed, before he swallowed. "Uh...s-sure."
Bill blinked in shock. He had actually said yes. "Oh, ok then." He laughed a little. "We can hang out by ourselves after she leaves, kay?"
Will nodded.
The blonde waved goodbye to his brother quickly before darting out of the room to retrieve Wendy since work hours would end any second now. He entered the gift shop and found Wendy just then unclipping her name tag.
"Hey, Wendy!" Bill called her over.
She turned around. "Oh, hey, Bill. What is it?"
He walked up, smiling brightly. "Will and I are gonna hang out up in the attic and Will wanted you to join us," he explained.
Her green eyes lit up. "Sure, man! Let's go!" She jogged after the blonde and they both returned back up to the attic.
Will seemed nervous when she first walked in, but he put on a smile. "H-hey, Wendy!"
"Sup, Will," she said, hopping onto his bed. "What are we gonna be doing today?"
Will shrugged and looked over at his twin.
Bill shrugged as well.
"I say we play truth or dare since guys never play that game," Wendy said sneakily.
Bill groaned internally, completely annoyed, but Will smiled giddily.
"Cool!" Will exclaimed and sat up straighter, criss-crossing his legs.
"Do you mind if I ask you something?" Wendy said rather suddenly.
Will, being oblivious, unlike Bill, said it was fine.
"What happened out there when I was talking to you?" the red-headed asked carefully.
Will stiffened up. "Um-"
"Will got knocked in the head a while ago," Bill interjected, "and he's been having terrible migraines that confuse him. I gave him some headache pills," Bill glanced at Will and his brother silently thanked him.
Wendy blinked. "Oh, well, let's get this game on. I'll order some pizza real quick." She pulled out her phone and dialed in a number and got up quickly to talk.
"Thanks for that," Will whispered while Wendy was distracted.
Bill chuckled. "No problem, I knew she'd come asking eventually."
Wendy hung up the phone and sat back down. "Ok, Bill, truth or dare?" she asked smugly.
Bill crossed his arms. "Dare."
She let out a huff. "Kay then, I dare you to scream out the window 'I love pinecones' at the top of your lungs."
Bill snorted, waving his hands. "You call that a dare?" He stood up and strode over the window and pushed it open, sticking his head out. "I LOVE PINECONES!"
Will laughed a little and Wendy snickered at him.
"Now that's done," Bill said, smug as well, "Will? Truth or dare?"
Will stiffened and bit his bottom lip. "Um...tr-truth?"
Bill booed at him. "Ok, who do you have a crush on? And be honest."
Will glanced over at Wendy, absolutely red-faced, and they exchanged a glance. "Uh...W-Wendy. Yeah."
Wendy gave a sweet smile and ruffled the shy twin's hair. "I'm too old for yah, man," she chuckled.
It confused Bill that Will had answered so quickly, not even throwing a fit and stammering a ton. Maybe he had already told Wendy before hand? Otherwise it made no sense to him.
Will smiled. "W-Wendy, truth or d-dare?"
"Dare!" she exclaimed, pumping her fists.
Will played with his fingers. "I dare y-you, when the p-pizza guy gets h-here, to give h-him your ph-phone number."
Wendy laughed aloud. "Nice one, buddy. Ok, I'll do it. He should be here soon anyways."
Bill clapped slowly. "Nice one, Will."
"Ok, Will, truth or dare?" she asked.
Will groaned. "Truth..."
"Pick dare next time!" the blonde exclaimed and Wendy elbowed him.
"Will, have you ever kissed a girl before?"
His face turned beat red. "N-no."
Wendy cocked an eyebrow. "No? You sure?"
Will nodded vigorously. "Y-yeah, I'm sure."
Wendy sighed. "Darn it."
"Bill," the twin said, "truth or-or dare?"
"Truth," Bill said, imitating Will's voice.
"H-have you ever kissed a-a girl?" he asked, crossing his arms.
"Of course," he said, sticking his chin up.
"Who then?" Wendy asked.
Bill flinched back, eyes widening. "U-uh, it was back in California though..."
"So?"
"So you wouldn't know her," Bill replied quickly, eyes darting away.
Wendy huffed. "Ok, Bill, it's your—"
The doorbell went off.
"Pizza guy's here!" Bill exclaimed and leapt off the bed, laughing. "Time to do your dare."
Wendy nodded and followed, helping Will off the bed. They all traveled downstairs and walked up to the front door.
Wendy pulled out some cash and also a spare piece of paper, and scribbled her number on the scrap. She then marched up to the front door and opened it up, revealing the pizza deliverer. He held out the box. "Here you are ma'am."
Wendy smiled kindly. "Thanks. Also, here's my number," she dropped the cash in his hand, along with the slip of paper.
The man blinked and looked up just as she shut the door in his face.
Will and Bill both broke out laughing.
"Is he gonna call you, you think?" Bill asked, walking after Wendy.
She shrugged. "If he does I'll tell him it was a dare and be done with it." A sudden extremely mischievous look developed in her eyes. "Wanna do something fun that could possibly get us in a lot of trouble?"
Bill's eyes sparkled. "Sure! What is it?!"
Will ran up. "W-wait! I don't—"
"Please, Will!" Bill said to his twin, using his kindest tone. He knew that if he and Wendy did something bad, Will would tell on them.
The boy sighed. "I d-don't know..."
Wendy frowned and that made up Will's mind.
"Ok, let's d-do it," he said in a more determined manor.
"Does Stan have an alcoholic beverages?" she whispered and Bill tensed up.
He could get in so much trouble if he did this. Not to mention it was illegal. But he wanted to be cool in front of Wendy. "He sure does, and I know where they are."
Wendy smiled. "Awesome!"
Will made a whimpering sound as Bill took his hand and dragged him after them. Stan had a secret mini fridge in a cabinet under the sink with beer and wine. The blonde opened the wooden door and reveled the fridge.
"Score!" the red-head exclaimed and opened it up, taking a whole casing of beer. "This is going to be fun."
Will was sweating up a storm. "Are-are you sure? We could g-get in a lot of tr-trouble," he stuttered.
"Oh, we'll be careful. I promise, Muffin," she said jokingly and they all snuck back up stairs.
Once they got in, Wendy closed the door, locking it, and set the pizza and beer on the floor. She got the pillows off the beds and set them on the floor to use them as seats. Wendy forcibly sat Will down and the blonde plopped down eagerly.
"Oh, breaking the rules are we?"
Bill jerked back, looking around, and realized it was in his head. What do you want, Dipper?
"Nothing... I'm just watching..." He sounded very suspicious, but Bill chose to ignore him. He wasn't going to let that stupid demon ruin his time with Wendy.
"Who's gonna drink first?" Wendy exclaimed excitedly, handing out a bottle to Bill and his twin.
Joy and fear mixed together inside of Bill. He knew this was wrong, but he wanted to break the rules. Will, on the other hand, was white as snow.
"I'll do it!" the blonde announced.
Wendy at first seemed shocked before she smiled. "Go ahead then, brave boy," she chuckled.
Bill used the bottle opener and popped it open, letting it fizz for a short moment. Ok, just drink it, it's no big deal. He raised the beer bottle up to his lips, tipped it, and drank it.
Will looked disappointed and scared at the same time since he wasn't a really courageous person.
It tasted absolutely disgusting. It was bitter and completely unsatisfying. It smelled vile and tasted the same way. It also left a revolting after taste.
"What yah think?" Wendy asked.
"Good!" Bill flat out lied.
Wendy laughed and looked to Will. "Kay, it's your turn, buddy."
Will shrank back. "I d-don't think I should d-do this, Wendy..." he murmured.
"Aw, come on, man!" the red-head persisted.
"Yeah, it's fun to bend the rules a little," Bill added. "Drink it!" he began to chant and Wendy joined in.
Will's eyes were filled with terror, but he reluctantly obeyed. After hesitating for a while he took a swig of it. But, almost instantly, he started coughing and made displeased noises. "Ew! Wh-what the heck?!"
Wendy was howling with laughter at the twin's over dramatic reaction. "Oh lord, this is going to be fun. Let's pause the truth or dare for a moment because I've thought of an awesome game." She got up and covered up the window so the light was blocked out, making it darker in the room.
"What's it called?" Bill asked eagerly, heart pounding.
"It's called 'never have I ever'. But this time, if you have done whatever is said, you have to take a swig of the beer. That's your punishment."
The blonde was vibrating with excitement at playing such an older game. "This'll be so fun!"
Will disagreed. "I-I'm not sure—"
"Come on, Will, don't worry. It'll be fine," Bill assured his twin. "Have a good time for once."
The blue-haired twin hung his head.
Wendy knew she couldn't do really extreme ones since the boys were still too young. "Ok, never have I ever gone surfing."
Since both boys had gone surfing, they raised their hands.
"Th-that's not fair though! Y-you know we live b-by an ocean!" Will complained, but Bill already took a gulp of the sour tasting beer.
"Drink up, buddy," Bill chuckled.
Will grumbled and took a sip, but Bill grabbed the bottom of the bottle and tipped it up farther, causing Will's sip to turn into a chug. He pulled away, coughing.
"Don't be so rude to the guy," Wendy scolded Bill, but she was secretly laughing.
"Ok," Bill said, "never have I ever gone scuba diving."
Wendy laughed and raised her hand. "I went up to Texas a year ago," she chuckled. She didn't hesitate to drink from the bottle.
Will played with his fingers nervously when it came to him. "Um...n-never have I ever...um...b-been in a r-relationship," he stammered.
Both Bill and Wendy raised their hands and laughed. And they both drank. The game went on for hours, they went down twice to get another casing of beer. Will had tried to stop them, but gave up after a while. Their questions started to get more ridiculous as time dragged on and Will's nervousness slowly disappeared with it. All through the while, Bill, Will and Wendy knew they were breaking the law, but they were having too much fun to pay attention to that now.
Bill was sitting on his hands while Will laid across his lap and Wendy was sitting on her stomach, they all giggled foolishly in unison.
"Dude, wh...what if Stan comes up here," she asked and held back her laughter.
"Who cares?!" Bill exclaimed and broke off on a fit of laughter.
"SHSHSH!" Will pressed a finger to his twin's mouth in attempt to quiet him, but was laughing himself.
"Guys, guys, we...we're still playing truth or dare, kay?" Wendy interjected. "Let's get back to business." Her smile twisted into a smirk. "It's gonna get serious."
Will giggled and got out of Bill's lap. "Oh yeah? L-like what? Are kn-knives involved?"
"Yeesh, violent much?" Bill said seriously at first, but then playfully punched his brother in the shoulder.
"No, not like that...you doofuses," Wendy mused as she looked up at the roof, thinking hard. "Embarrassing stuff."
"Oh," the twins said in unison with identical facial expressions.
"Who's going first?" Wendy asked.
"Me!" Bill shouted, attempting to jump to his feet but the room swirled and he fell backwards onto his butt.
They had a good laugh over that before Bill a managed to catch his breath.
"Ok, Wendy, truth or dare?"
"Truth," she said with her mouth on the lip of the beer bottle.
"Who was the first guy you kissed?" he asked sneakily.
"Aw, let me think...I was about thirteen..." she pondered. "I'm pretty sure...it was Nate," she said and chuckled in embarrassment.
"Really?!" Bill exclaimed, not even jealous, just surprised.
"What? He was my first little boyfriend," she explained and set the bottle down. "Ok, Will, truth or dare?"
Will put on his brave face. "D-dare," he said somewhat nervously, but was smiling all the way.
Wendy let out a maniacal laugh like she was insane. "Oh, you picked the wrong time to be courageous, buddy boy," she drummed her fingers together contemplatively. "I'm sorry, Will."
Will's bravery about evaporated when Wendy told him the dare. "Y-you... What?!"
Wendy was pretty smug at this point. "You heard me."
Will was now as pale as a ghost, but his cheeks were bright red. "B-but, no! That's— no!"
Bill nudged his brother, almost missing Will's side completely since his vision was swimming. "Hey, it's all right."
"I ch-chicken out! I don't w-want to—"
"It's a dare," Wendy sighed, "you gotta do it."
Will's face was beat red now. "Ok...ok..."
Bill turned to Will, balling his hands into fists. Wendy, what the heck, man? He was honestly disturbed on the inside, but the alcohol made some of the irritation blow away.
Will turned to Bill, biting lightly on his own tongue. "Ok, w-whatever," he whispered and leaned in, kissing Bill.
Bill scrunched up his nose, not amused, and let Will draw back and cross his arms flustered.
Wendy, however, was laughing so hard you would have thought her head was going to explode. "Oh my God, Bill, your face was hilarious."
"Yeah, yeah, now it's Will's turn."
Will was still blushing like mad and half glaring at Wendy. "I'm...I'm k-kinda tired. I'm gonna g-go to bed."
"But we haven't even gotten through the game yet!" Bill complained.
Wendy sighed heavily. "No, he's right. I gotta get home. I'll throw away all the beer and stuff. See yah guys tomorrow." She gathered up all the trash and left without another word.
"Wow, Will, what a buzz kill," Bill spat.
Will didn't respond to his brother.
"At least we had some fun before you ruined it," the blonde continued to rant. Bill crawled into bed unsteadily, not thinking about how the beer would effect his dreams or his Mind Scape.
A/N:
I want to punch this chapter in the face -__- it sucked
Yet chapters involving alcohol are always somewhat fun to write
