"nana... is that you...?"

the angel's heartbeat accelerated.

he knew this tone.

he knew this voice.

he knew this nickname.

"d-donghyuck...?" jaemin breathed out, air lacking in his lungs.

"jaemin... it's me..." the human said, a smile appreaing on his lips.

the two boys didn't wait a second more to jump into each other's arms.

they hugged each other like there was no tomorrow, breathing in the other's calming scents, and enjoying the feeling of the other's body against theirs.

this was an all-too-familiar feeling.

but at the same time, it seemed that they hadn't felt it in forever...

"donghyuck... you're back..." jaemin said, sniffling.

tears were cascading down his cheeks.

he felt completely overwhelmed.

after so much time...

his boyfriend was back.

"i am..." donghyuck smiled.

both boys pulled away from their hug, donghyuck cupping jaemin's face with his palms.

"it's so good to see you again, nana..."

donghyuck leaned forwards, placing his lips over jaemin's.

the two boys poured all their love in this reunion kiss.

the feeling of their lips against the other's was wonderful.

it made their hearts go crazy inside their chests.

they had missed this.

the feeling of being so in love...

"so... you're an angel now...?" donghyuck asked, looking at his boyfriend from head to toe.

"yeah." jaemin smiled. "and you're a human."

"you look gorgeous in blonde." donghyuck stated, one of his hands entangling with jaemin's fair hair. "and with blue eyes... they're mesmerising."

"you look stunning." jaemin replied. "i am the luckiest boy to be able to call you my boyfriend."

donghyuck chuckled, wrapping his arms around jaemin's body and kissing him again.

he couldn't get tired of these lips.

they felt so good against his own.

jaemin felt so good against him.

"let's go back home, okay?" jaemin asked once they parted.

donghyuck nodded his head cutely.

jaemin held out his hand, donghyuck intertwining his fingers with his immediately.

the two boys walked out of the room hand in hand and with rapid heartbeats.

the crowd of fallen demon let them walk away in peace again, and so, donghyuck and jaemin reached the car jaemin had stolen.

"you have a car?" donghyuck raised a brow.

"i stole it." jaemin said, opening the door for donghyuck to sit in.

"bad boy." donghyuck chuckled, pulling jaemin's nape and making their lips collide again in a quick kiss.

"the baddest." jaemin added before walking to his seat.

"so, where is home?" donghyuck asked.

jaemin snapped his fingers, making the engine of the car roar.

the car started driving on its own as jaemin faced his boyfriend.

"home is in seoul. but first, i need to tell you about haechan."

"so... this is home?" donghyuck asked, looking around the cozy house he had opened with the keys that were inside his pocket. "well, haechan's home."

"yeah. this is haechan's home. which means it's your home too." jaemin said, plopping on the couch.

"where do you stay?" donghyuck looked around the unfamiliar place. "since you told me haechan despised you."

"mark has an apartment not so far." jaemin replied, making grabby hands towards his boyfriend to ask him to cuddle him. "i often go there."

"mark?!" donghyuck exclaimed.

"yeah, the angel who flirted with you in class. we're friends now." jaemin said.

"i'd love to see him again!" donghyuck told. "he was funny to hang around. i'm sure he remembers about me."

"he does." jaemin nodded. "we often talk about you."

"really?" donghyuck asked.

"yeah."

"can i see him once?" donghyuck asked, jumping up and down like a little kid.

"i'll bring you to his apartment tomorrow if you'd like."

"yeah!" donghyuck clapped. "i look forward to see... wait."

donghyuck though for a few seconds.

"he's an angel... and i'm a human..." he stated. "i'll never be able to see him..."

"aw... baby... don't cry..." jaemin pouted. "come here in my arms."

donghyuck dragged his feet towards the couch, lying himself on jaemin, allowing the angel to wrap his arms around his body.

"we're going to find a solution, okay?" he asked, kissing donghyuck's temple.

"okay..." donghyuck nodded, his brown hair tickling jaemin's neck.

"let's go to bed now? we can cuddle until we fall asleep." jaemin said.

"oh, yes!"

jaemin chuckled, sitting up on the couch and then standing up with donghyuck gripping onto him like a koala.

jaemin slid a hand under his thick thigh and the other around his waist before walking to haechan's bedroom.

jaemin sat donghyuck on the bed before kicking his pants off as well as his shirt, doing the same with donghyuck right after.

when both were wearing their boxers only, jaemin opened the covers, and slid under them with donghyuck.

the human immediately wrapped his arms and legs around jaemin as the angel did the same.

the two boys cuddled and talked for a few hours before sleep took over them.

they stayed in each other's arms all night long, snoring in unison as their hearts beat simultaneously.

the feeling of having your lover this close was the best in the world.

both boys had missed it a lot.

but it wasn't the case anymore.

they could be close again.

of course.

everything was finally the way jaemin wanted it to be.
