Thomas shook with anger and confusion. he went back to the day in his head. it was pack graduation day. te final test was for the two newly packs alpha were to fight to show who was tougher.  Thomas and his friend Alex had been trained on the same part of the cliff ledge since they were first able to walk.

       Thomas and Alex took their respected place on the cliff ledge stage. they practiced for the week the memorized every step every stone. but the day of the final something changed. Thomas and Alex fought like they had thousand of times before. but Alex was yelling like he usually did so Thomas push hard clawed more. he needed this to prove himself to his father. 

Thomas felt Alex give under his weight and Thomas grind and went to shove on his back. Thomas realized too late. why is friend gave under the stone under Alex's feet had given way. Alex fell to the rock blow. Thomas still reminded Alex of confusion the fear as he fell.  

        the head trainers ran and tackled Thomas to the ground. there were screams and shouts. Thomas couldn't remember what was said. but he did remember the trial. his father sitting on the throne as he listens to every witness statement. then ask Thomas to tell his side.
        Thomas explained that the stone gave way. That is why Alex feels not that he pushed him. Thomas's father asked the head trainers who so happen to be henry and Groge if this was true. they said no and even showed the spot where Alex fell all the stones were intact. None of the ones that face away and fell with Alex were missing.  with that Jonathan did the unthinkable. he banished his son to the wood never to return. Thomas begged and pleaded with his father. not to do it. that he was telling the truth but it was to no avail.

      NOw to hear that  Gorge and Henry had staged the whole thing. brought anger and hatred where sorrow and pity resited.  Jonathon seeing the change and realization in his son Demeter continued. 

   "illusion magic was used to make it look like that stone were there. it was cast by Gorge during the fight that's why none of us saw what you saw it looked to us like you pushed him. I am sorry my son. if I had seen through the lies and trust you more. I could have prevented all this from happening." he looked saddened. 

       "dad, does that mean what I think of it dose?" Thomas asked trying to tame his anger. Jonathon nodded.  " Gorge and Henry used my blindness and trust to start the downfall of FAMILY.

       I started to mistrust then about a year after you were banished. they started.
