Once upon a time, there lived a little woman named Rylee who lived with her father named Dan. Now Rylee wasn't very tall. In fact, she's only 4'9 and people always think she's younger than she is when she's 25. She also dresses differently. She dresses in emo and goth fashion and dyes her hair black all the time. Some people think she's weird but they love the fact that she likes to express herself. And since they're poor, she still manages to make her own clothes and made her own guitar. Music was the one thing that made her feel like herself along with her cow friend, Sammy. Since she's been vegan for the last few years, she been taking care of all the animals especially Sammy. But one day, her father came up to her with terrible news. "Rylee, come here." She really hated when her dad calls her over because she knows it going to be bad. "Rylee, I hate to do this to you but I'm going to have you get rid of Sammy." Rylee felt her heart begin to sink in sadness. "Why? Sammy is the only friend I have." She said in anger. "Rylee, I don't have time to argue with you. We barely have any money which is a problem because I know you use the money to buy all your clothes and guitar which I don't know how but you need to go to the market to sell the cow to market, end of discussion." She doesn't know why her dad is like this. Ever since her brother, Zach, died, he divorced her mother and forced her to live with him. Rylee's been very lonely since. But I did what he wanted her to and took the cow to the market in tears.

When she got there, she met a man who looked very sketchy. "Excuse me, miss." She stopped in front of him. "Who are you?" She asked feeling uneasy. "My name is not important. I'm here to trade you your cow for these beans." Rylee was hesitant about this because she didn't trust this guy. "Now before you say anything, these are magic beans. If you plant these, they'll take you to a place beyond your wildest dreams." She didn't believe him but she took the beans anyway and cried a little as he took Sammy.

When she went back to the village, she showed the beans to her father. "You traded our cow for these beans?" Dan yelled in anger as Rylee. "YOU UNGRATEFUL BACKSTABBER! I SHOULD HAVE DISOWNED YOU WHEN ZACH PASSED! GO GRAB YOUR STUFF AND GET OUT!" That's when Rylee ran away with all of her stuff. She really wished her brother there to hold her. She knew her dad was bad news but didn't know how bad he actually was. She decided to plant the beans as she continued to cry. "Where are you Zach?" That's when Rylee backed up when a huge beanstalk grew all the way into the clouds. "That was weird. Might as well climb to see where it leads." She began to climb the beanstalk with all her stuff on her back.
