Brendon's POV

I blushed extremely red, thank god I wasn't facing Ryan. I had dared to hold his hand, hoping he would accept...and he did. I held in a giggle, but didn't succeed. The taller boy 'awwed' at me, clearing the distance between us in one stride. He scooted towards me, trying to watch the trail and me blush at the same time.

"You're so cute." Ryan smiled. He looked as if he regretted saying it, locking his eyes to the trail and squeezing my hand. I squeezed back, giggling again.

"Aww Ry is shyyyy.!" I poked his cheek, but my focus didn't last long on him as we reached the too of the first cliff. We stood together, hand in hand, over the most beautiful sight I'd seen. Frost covered trees leaned over the glistening cliffs, a little but of clear water making it's way to the edge. Icicles hung as long as 4 feet in the nooks of the rock. I stopped, laughing as Ryan pressed against me.

"It's so pretty, isn't it, Ry?" I smiled at him.

"I-it's so..s-so high...up..." The colour from his face drained as his eyes stood widened at the ground, a good 90 feet below.

I removed my hand from his and wrapped both of my arms around the other boy's.

"Don't worry, I gotcha." I giggled, and Ryan laughed lightly back. "You've got to admit...It's still amazing."

He nods, turning to me. "Not as amazing as you."

We both laughed loudly because of the cheesiness, but once we could breath again I stopped and smiled up at him. His brown eyes locked with mine. They were so deer-like. Big, innocent, shiny. Next thing I knew, he had leaned down and closed the space between us.

I felt my head spin as I tried not to smile too wide so that I could kiss back. My arms made their way around his neck, and his found my waist. I couldn't help but laugh as his grip was really tight, he was still so scared of the cliff edge.

We broke apart to take a breath, but it didn't last long as now I giggled and stood on my tiptoes to kiss him again. We stayed that way for a little while, happily.

Oh my god I am so sorry about how freaking looooong this update took! I've been busy with school n junk. I also am having trouble with writer's block.....again.
