I slowly opened my eyes. I was in some kind of tent. I tried to sit up but flinched and fell back down in pain. I held onto my abdomen and clenched my teeth. I looked down to see my upper body covered in bandages.

Me: 'It feels like I'm gonna fall apart.'

I laid there for a few minutes then got the strength to finally sit up. I sat there and took deep breaths to try and let the pain subside. After another few minutes I swung my legs over the cot I was on and stood up shakily. I caught myself multiple times before pushing myself forward and out of the tent. The sun's rays hit me and I was blinded for a few moments. I looked around and saw that I was in a clearing with five other tents. I started to remember everything. I stumbled forward, which at the moment was the only way I could move. I got to the edge of the clearing and moved into the trees. I used each tree I pasted for support as I moved. I noticed an opening in the tree which led to a cliff. I walked over to it and stumbled to my knees. I looked out over the ocean. I wondered where I was, what happened, and most of all, how did I survive. Without my abilities, I'm just human, not different from anyone else in my original world. I fell backwards and looked up at the sky.

Me: "I should probably leave. They'll want to keep me around but im too weak like this. It'll just hold them back. I'll be an asset."

I heard foot steps and looked over to see Qrow.

Qrow: "Or you could become strong."

Me: "I'd love that. But I'm not like you guys. I come from a different world. I have no aura, no semblance, no abilities."

Qrow: "Every living being has aura. You just have to unlock it."

He walked over to me and I sat up slowly. He put a hand on my shoulder and closed his eyes to focus. He then started to glow black? [(A/N): I couldn't find what color Qrow's aura was.] Suddenly I felt as if my body had grown much lighter, the pain in my abdomen also subsided a bit as well, not by much though.

Qrow: "Instesd of giving up you should try. And you know, it would be a challenge, wouldn't it?"

I looked down and thought for a moment. I then let off a small smile.

Me: "I always have loved a challenge. When do we start?"

I looked up at him to see him smirking while holding his weapon.

Me: "Shit..."

[Time Skip, Many Months Later]

After that Qrow took me under his wing(I had to) and we set out to train. After many months of recovery and training I was finally approved by Qrow to join the rest of our make-shift team. The training was grueling, I had become so reliant on skills and stats that I forgot about a lot of human functions, bleeding and feeling pain is one of them. Of course when my device broke, so did my storage system, so I had to forge a new weapon. Luckily forging was one of my favorite side skills in a lot of games so I knew how. My new blade was pitch black and had spikes right before the handle (Image Above). I walked into the small town Qrow said the team was using as a rest point. I walked to the closest hotel and looked around, I quickly found the inn-keeper... I mean hotel receptionist and asked for their room. After getting the room number I headed up the elevator. I walked to the room and knocked three times.

Ruby: "Coming!"

The door opened to reveal Ruby in casual clothing. She gasped and sprung at me. I caught her as she hugged me.

Ruby: "I'm so glad you're okay! We were all so worried!"

I patted her back until she let go.

Me: "Sorry to make you worry."

Ruby: "Weiss!"

She suddenly yelled.

Weiss: "What!? Ruby you're so loud what have I told you abo-"

Once she came into the door frame she stopped and stared at me. I waved.

Me: "Hey Ice Que-"

She nearly tackled me.

Weiss: "You dolt! You worried me sick!"

I looked over at Ruby and she nodded.

Me: "Come on ice queen this is way out of character for you. And I'm sorry I made you worry."

I patted her head and she let go.

Weiss: "Come on. I'll make some tea."

I raised my brow as she walked inside. I looked at Ruby.

Ruby: "She wouldn't shut up about you, she barely slept. It was werid to see Weiss like that..."

Me: "It's werid to see her like this..."

Ruby: "We're just glad you're back, do you think you can fight the same as before?"

Me: "Hmmm... Maybe not the same but I'm close to the same level. I also learned my semblance."

Ruby: "Oh? What is it?"

Me: "Matter manipulation. As long as I know what an object is made of I can shape it or destroy it at will."

Ruby: "Woe..."

Me: "That's the same thing I thought when I made a tree explode."

I clapped my hands together.

Me: "Anyway, let's continue the quest!"
