Yang's Pov: an hour later

Chrys was sent in to the detective's room by the doctor while we waited. I sat back in my seat, Blake was to my left, Weiss to my right.

Zwei sat on the floor with ruby.

Romance Cop's Pov

I followed the doctor to the Rose's (A/N) room. He let ,e in and I went inside. The doctor left and I walked over to Rose's hospital bed. She was asleep, bandages on her arms, chest, forehead and her right leg. As far as I can see. I sat in a chair by her bed and held her hand.

Rose started waking up, "mmmm...." "Detective?" I asked quietly. Her eyes opened and she looked at me, "romance cop..." I smiled a little she smiled back. "Romance cop, where's my coat?" She asked me. "In a chair by the door" I said. She looked at me, "keep an eye on it please..." I nodded, I went over and grabbed it then brought it back over. The coat was heavier then usual.

"Detective, is there something in your coat?" I asked and she nodded, "yes, something I manage to grab when we escaped. Get the others," I nodded, set her coat down, and left. I got out to the waiting room. "How is she?" Asked Blake, "She's doing fine. But she'd like all of you guys to come" the nodded and stood up.

I came back with the others following. Rose had got the cloak in her lap. she spotted us coming in. "So what's up?" Asked Yang, Rose Looks at all of us. "I managed to grab this while Chrys and I escaped..." she said, then removed the cloak revealing a glowing object. "A power core" said ruby, "How did you mange to get that?"

Rose Looks at ruby, "here's what happened"

FLASHBACK Romance Detective's Pov:

Chrys and I continued running through the halls of the base when we heard barking. "Hound dogs!" Chrys shouts. I looked and saw 10 hound dogs chasing us.

One of the dogs shoved us apart. I went one way, Chrys the other. I continued to run. I managed to lose the dogs in a room. There was a machine, it didn't look good. I saw a glowing object on a table and picked it up.

I put it in my coat pocket and started running again. The pain in my body was getting worse but I had to keep going. I was started to get worried if those dogs caught up to Chrys. I found the exit and saw Chrys there. She spotted me and ran over, hugging me. "I was so worried the dogs got you..." She said.

I hugged back, "I was worried about you...." she smiled at me, "let's get out of here" I nodded and we both left.

FLASHBACK END

"So you stole the power core from the machine?" Asked Yang. I nodded, "I knew it was dangerous. So I took it to give it to you all." I handed the power core to yang.

Yang took it and nodded, "right. We could use this when we go back home"

30 minutes later.

I was released from the hospital. Chrys decided she'd stay at my place till I got better. I agreed to it, I'd would really like Chrys's company.

Team RWBY went off to Canary's house. Chrys drove us to my home residents. We went into my house and sat down on the couch to watch tv.

'Whatever he was building isn't good. All I'm worried about is Chrys getting more hurt by this guy....' I thought. I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize Chrys was trying to getting my attention.

"Yes Chrys?" I asked. "It's getting late we should go to bed." She said to me. I nodded, "we can share again, I don't mind at all." Chrys agreed and we headed off to bed.
