(Chapter 10: The Blue Rose)

Romance Cop's Pov: The next morning

I woke up and stretched a bit. A felt weight on me and looked down. Rose had her head on my chest, her left bandaged arm across my stomach. I blushes a bit and smiled a little.

I got up careful not to wake rose. Then I went to the kitchen to start make something to eat for the both of us.

I heard something behind me and looked. I came face to face with Charles. I backed away from him. He pointed a gun at me, "start moving Cop"

I did as I was told. We went outside Rose's house and to a blue car. "What do you want with me?" I asked quietly. He seemed to hear me because he responded with, "You'll find out soon. Do as I say and I'll return you to your girlfriend and friends."

He shoved me into the car. I watched him slam the door and go to the driver door and drive the car. I couldn't see anything out the windows, other that the front and back.

'What could he possibly want with me.....?' I thought. The car jerked to a stop and he got out and opened the door next to me. "Out" is all he said. I got out and looked around. We were in a forest area outside of the city.

He led me further in to where an open field is, but there in the middle of the field was a temple. We went inside the temple. The traps in the temple had been messed with. 'Probably his doing...' I thought to myself.

We entered a room with drawings and statues. There in the center was a blue rose in an orb. "Grab it and give it to me. Then your free to go." He said to me. I looked at it and walked towards it.

I grabbed it but, it disappeared. "It dis-" I started to say but I was suddenly met with pain. "Ahh!!" I yelled out collapsing to the ground.

Everything went black....

3 hours later

I wake up to me still in the temple. I slowly stood up, the pain had gone away. I was glad for that. I headed back the way I came and found Charles had left at some point. "What happened to me...?" I asked myself, I managed to make it back to lovebloom.

"Chrys!" Came ruby voice. I turned and got tackled by the little red. "Hey ruby" I said to her. We stood up she looked at me in surprise, "what happened to your eye?!"

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked, ruby grabbed my hand and dragged me to one of the nearby restrooms. Ruby pointed to the mirror, "look..." I looked into the mirror.

"M-My eye!" I shouted. "Explain everything Chrys." Said Ruby to me. I looked at her. I started to explain everything that happened.

"So Charles captured you and took you to this temple area outside of Love bloom and made you grab a blue Rose in a orb front this pedestal. Then it disappeared, you felt pain, fainted, woke up and came here to now find out about your eye being this way?" Asked ruby. I nodded, "yep...oh! Rose must be really worried about me...."

"Oh right! Come on." Said ruby. She grabbed my hand and dragged me off.

Rose's home 10 minutes later.

I followed Ruby through town. Some people were giving me weird looks. 'Is this how Rose felt in her childhood...?' I thought. I combed my bang over my eye.

We walked up inside Rose's house and walked in. I ended up getting wrapped in the hug from Rose. "Your safe....thank goodness...."

I hugged back, "yeah I'm fine but...." she pulled away, "But what?" I moved my hair showing my eye to her.

"Your....your eye...." she said trailing off. "I know...." I said. I explained everything to her as well.
