next morning Yang's Pov:

I wake up to Ruby blowing her whistle. I felt Blake move off me and get up. I got up after she did. Our team got dressed in our uniforms and headed to class. We sat down in Goodwitch's class. We didn't see Cardin nor his team. Good thing he ain't there or I would have beaten him to the ground for hurting Blake.

"Good Morning students, today you'll be fighting Grimm with your partner. Ms. Xiao Long, Ms. Belladonna, your first." Said Professor Goodwitch. Blake and I stood up from our seats. We went into the arena. Ms. Goodwitch released five beowolfs at us.

Ruby's Pov:

I watched Yang and Blake fight the beowolfs. I started noticing something as the two fought. Their auras were flaring, Yang's a golden color, Blake's was a shadow Black color. As they passed each other their auras mixed then separated. 

"What's going on?" I heard Weiss ask quietly as she observed our teammates. One of the Beowolfs launched Blake into the air. Yang ran forward and caught Blake, there was a bright flash. Making all of us cover our eyes. Once the bright flash faded we opened our eyes. My eyes widen on what I saw.   

Standing there was no longer Yang nor Blake but someone new. this figure stood 7'5 tall, had Yang's golden hair and hair style with black streaks with cat ear on her head.. She wore Blake's white shirt with Yang's brown Jacket over it, black pants that reached her ankles with brown boots. the scarf around her neck was half black half orange. Her eyes were closed, a smile formed on her face.

"Well well what have we here...." she spoke, her eyes opened one was amber the other was lilac. she looked at the beowolfs as they charged at her. she smirked as she unsheathed Gambol Shroud and Ember Celicia. She shot forward taking the beowolfs out with ease. once they laid dead she sheathed Gambol and Ember. 

Professor Goodwitch started at the new figure in shock. The figure looked at Goodwitch with a grin, "Hehe, am I that amazing? Names Ember Shroud, nice to meet you!" Ember extended her hand out to Goodwitch. Ms. Goodwitch stared at her for a few seconds, extended her hand to shake Ember's. Ember moved back, "Well it was nice to meet you. But its time for Blake and Yang to come back. Good bye for now." 

In a flash Yang and Blake stood where Ember stood. They were close, They blushed and moved away from each other quickly. "What happened?" asked Yang, Blake was confused on what happened too. After a explanation and Nora showing them a photo of Ember Shroud from her scroll. "We became her?" asked Yang in surprise, Blake was shocked. 

"Yeah. But how?" asked Jaune. Pyrrha spoke up, "Fusion, Your auras flared and mixed together. Once you two touched you merged together as one. but I thought it was just a myth," We looked at her. "So what your saying is....me and Blakey here can fuse together?" asked Yang. Pyrrha nodded, "Exactly Yang"

Goodwitch dismissed us from class and we headed to our dorm for our free period. However Blake headed outside saying she needed to be alone for a bit.

Blake's Pov:

'I fused with yang?!'  I thought as I walked into Forever Falls. I sat down by a tree, my thoughts going all over about what happened. It started making my head hurt. I heard footsteps and I looked over. Its was Cardin and his team, I knew I should leave. I stood up and made my way towards Beacon. Cardin's teammates blocked my path, then grabbed me, my arms behind my back, to make sure I didn't escape. "Where do you think your going Belladonna?" asked Cardin, I didn't answered his question. "What do you want Cardin?" I asked, glaring at him. He doesn't answer my question. His buddies shoved me to the ground, once I hit the ground they started kicking and punching me. 

"Hey! Let go of her!!" shouted Yang, I managed to look up. Yang's eyes were red in anger. She activated Ember Celicia and beat team CRDL until they ran off. Yang lifted me up, "You okay Kitten?" 'Kitten? that's a new one...' I thought to myself before nodding, "I'm okay, yang don't worry. How'd you know where to look for me?" Yang smiled at me, "I saw the direction you were heading in so I just thought you were going to Forever Falls. I wanted to tell you something..."

Yang looked down flustered suddenly. "Well you can tell me anything..." I said to her, smiling a little. "I...well...." She was really nervous. She stepped towards me, "It's hard to say....but I'll just show you...." after she said that she leaned forward and kissed me.
