*Three weeks later*
Ruby's Pov:
Blake was able to come back to class. So we sat in Professor Goodwitch's class.

"Good morning students, today you all will be doing one on one battles, now Mr. Winchester choose a competitor." The professor said looking at Cardin.

Cardin looked at my team, I had a bad feeling about this. "How about Blake." he said with a smirk. Professor Goodwitch looked at Blake, "Alright Ms. Belladonna. You'll be battle Mr. Winchester."

Blake stood and went down to the battle arena with Cardin. I lean over and whisper to Weiss, "I don't like where this is going..." she looked at me, "Me neither..."

Both Blake and Cardin get in a battle stance. "Now Mr. Winchester you can not hit Ms. Belladonna from behind" Professor Goodwitch said to Cardin.

Cardin just smirk, i didn't like it one bit. Blake attacked first. Cardin defending himself quickly. Cardin Shot behind Blake and hit her hard in her back. The buzzer beeped, Blake struggled to get up.

"Mr. Winchester, I said not to hit Ms. Belladonna in the back!" Shouted Ms. Goodwitch sternly, then looks at Yang, "Ms. Xiao Long. Please come help your partner." Yang got up and came down to help Blake.

Cardin swung his mace hitting yang in the head, knocking her out. Then hit Blake once more. This wasn't going well....

Blake's Pov
My backside hit the wall, which made my back hurt a lot more. I yelped out in pain as I tried to get up. I saw yang unconscious on the floor near me.

I felt a hand grab me then lift me up. Cardin smirked at me raising his mace. My eyes widen, he was gonna do the same thing he did to Yang.

"Shadow Pulse!!" I heard Ruby call out. My weapon rose up and glowed. Shadow Pulse appeared and saw the situation. She growled and attacking Cardin, making him let go of me.

I yelped as I hit the floor. Ruby and Weiss ran over and help me up and away from the fight. The three of us went over to yang. I sat beside her and hugged her.

Shadow Pulse beat Cardin, walked over to us, then dissappeared within her weapon. Cardin was sent to Ozpin's office straight afterward and we were dismissed from class. I managed to walk on my own as Weiss and Ruby carried yang. 'Cardin must've hit her pretty hard....' I thought frowning as we continued our walk to our dorm.
