Regret, Snow, and Luna went to RWBY's dorm to tell them what happened. They hesitated at first but they did eventually get the courage to speak to them. Regret knocked on the door and the person who answered was Yang. She looked so happy and full of life, along with her other teammates. That was about to change when their visitors had to deliver the news.

"Hey you guys! Congrats on winning the finals round, man that was incredible! So what's up?" Yang was so filled with joy as she always is.

"We... we need to talk." Regret told her. She knew something was wrong when he said it in that kind of depressed tone.

Yang let them come in and they sat down. Regret spoke up to explain what has transpired.

"It's about Nightmare. He went to Vale lastnight but he never came back.... someone took him and now we need to find him." Ruby's eyes widened and she jumped off her bed to start asking questions.

"He was captured?! By who?!" They all saw the tears in her eyes starting to stream down her face.

"We don't know who, but we could use your help. Weiss, you're the heiress of a very rich company, you think you get some help on this matter?" Snow asked her. Weiss took a second to think of ways she could.

"Well, we do have private investigators on the Schnee payroll. As soon as I hire them they get special clearance to investigate on their own within the police and without them knowing." She knew she could get help outside of the 2 teams that were about to set out to find him.

"Blake what about you? You think this was the White Fang?" Regret asked her.

"I don't believe so. Ever since Adam took over, he focused on targets such as the Schnee Dust Company, using brute force to get what they wanted. They never needed to kidnap anyone." The black haired Faunus stated. But the question did cross her mind on what if they needed to. Maybe for ransom of some sort. She stopped asking herself to focus on the subject.

"I have still have criminal underworld contacts, I can head out to ask Junior if he knows anything." Yang quickly gave out her idea which is what the remainder of team NLSR counted on.

"I'll go with you." Regret volunteered to go with a reason he was about to give. "I grew up around a lot of gang stuff when I was in Vacuoe. I know that word would get out if someone did something like this. And I bet the first thing these guys would do if they wanted to find someone would be to go to Junior."

Luna spoke up on who'd she'd go with. "Shape shifting these robotics is not the only thing I can do. I also have scanning equipment in my arms that are linked to my scroll. So if you can get this private investigator to help, I can make this so much easier if I go with him or her. Depending on who you hire." This one feature the rest of the team didn't know about her.

"Me, Ruby and Blake will go speak with Doctor Oobleck. Ozpin told us that he saw the van drive out and noticed what happened. Whatever they used to incapacitate Nightmare were not normal tranquilizers. Something stronger was put into play that hasn't been around since the UNSC started colonizing the galaxy." Snow said as Ruby and Blake agreed to go with her.

"We should get going. We're wasting daylight."

Each team had their assigned roles and set out to find Nightmare. Blake, Ruby and Snow went to visit Doctor Oobleck. As usual he was was re-arranging his classroom at lighting fast speeds, literally. (Because RWBY logic.) "Uhh... Professor Oobleck?" Snow got his attention and he always corrects people when they say professor instead of doctor.

"It's doctor. I didn't earn 2 PHDs for fun thank you very much." He corrected while he was going through files in his desk. It looked like he was still looking at the toxin that Nightmare was shot with.

"Okay.... Doctor Oobleck... we were wondering if you saw who take Nightmare lastnight. License plates, anything?" She asked the mad doctor while he quickly jolted his head up from looking in his microscope.

"Unfortunately, no. I never saw what they looked like and the van never had license plates. I'm sorry girls. If I find out anything I'll tell you."

"Don't be. Thank you for your time Doctor." The three of them walked out of the classroom discussing what they got from that.

"Well.... crap...." Snow let out a sigh. Blake went up to her and hugged her for a couple seconds.

"We're going to get him back. It'll be okay. Get in here Ruby." She insisted on Ruby joining the group hug. Ruby got the idea to stroke Blake's head to attempt to make her pur. (Ha ha, cat jokes.)

"Blake?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you...?"

"Yeah... I am. *cough* Ruby *cough"

"Sometimes I forget you're a cat Faunus." Snow joked. That gave them a small spark of hope. Hope... that they needed desperatly.
