Appearance: Pearl stands roughly five and a half feet tall. Closer to 5'6", actually. Pearl has long messy almond brown hair with faint red highlights on the tips. She has golden eyes, with flecks of amber in them. She has a bit of a tan, though not too much. She's almost never seen dressed in anything other than a white kimono decorated with an ornately embroidered setting of a grove of cherry blossoms by a river in various shades of red, pink, white, and a few threads of blue for the river. It runs along the bottom half of the kimono. She wears a pair of casual flip-flop sandals most of the time, though she has a habit of losing them. She wears matching pants with her kimono, though it's normally long enough that they are not seen. Ever present is her white-hilted and bladed Katana, kept at her side by a magnetic clamp and a brown sheath with an etching of a sakura tree on it from one end to the other. This engraving will glow white and pink the more impacts Pearl deals out or receives. The hilt of her weapon has a magenta ribbon tied to the back. She also wears a strange hat that resembles a traditional Japanese rice farmer's hat made of straw. Strangely, it never seems to take any damage.

Personality: Pearl is laid back, go-with-the-flow kind of gal. She's a pretty wily and smart person, but not the most motivated. At times she can be outright lazy and often is late about grading her students' work in spite of being an excellent teacher. A good day for Pearl is one where she can relax, take a dip in the pool, do some Yoga, stare up at the clouds from on the roof, read a book, or watch some T.V. She's carefree and very understanding. In fights she will often attempt to avoid combat when she can. She's not easily hit emotionally, though mentioning her family, in particular her ancestors will upset her.

Backstory: Pearl's grandmother was Silver Ash. Pearl is aware of this relation, and for a time she constantly felt the pressure of trying to live up to that level of greatness, but never could. Eventually, she gave up, seeing that she simply wasn't talented enough. She doesn't act like it, but this bothers her a great deal.

Aura Color: Pink.

Semblance: Her semblance is a complicated one. As Pearl deals out impact damage in kinetic energy from any source, or receives a kinetic impact from any source, the cherry blossom tree design on her katana's sheath will begin to glow white from the base of the tree's trunk, filling up like a limit energy bar from Final Fantasy. When it reaches the pink blossoms, that's Pearl's indicator that her semblance's ultimate attack is now fully charged. Unlike Yang or Adam, she doesn't absorb energy to fuel it, she must use her own aura, which takes a heavy toll on her reserves even though she has a lot of aura. The bar is merely an indicator of how much of her aura can be channeled into her attack based on the kinetic energy she's unleashed and received. She can use the ability at any point as long as she has some charge to it, however it will not be anywhere near as devastating as it will be at 100%. The attack itself causes the white blade of her sword to glow pink, and then to break apart and seemingly dissolve into what appears to be anywhere from a couple dozen to several thousand sakura blossom petals that will dance around her as if gently moving in a breeze. In reality, each is a tiny shard of her sword, spinning so rapidly that when it catches the light, the combination of her aura's glow around it causes it to appear like a glowing flower petal. They will then move very quickly towards a target and can be controlled by her moving the hilt of her sword around. However, there is a limit to their range, and she must be able to see or imagine the location of her targets for it to be effective. These blades will carve through almost any material in their path, and being caught in a whirlwind of them would be like getting stuck in a blender. However, they will only remain active for about thirty seconds, so she must make it count. She can dispel this move, called Scattering Dream Waltz early by sheathing her sword. When unleashed at maximum power, her blade will disappear completely, and a grove of Sakura trees will appear on either side of her before dissolving into a sea of petal-blades. At full power, it will drain just under half of her aura, meaning that she can only use the move at its most powerful twice in any one battle. Those who have seen it and lived might tell you that it would be a very rare occasion for her to need to use it at full power more than once. Especially since building up enough charge to do so takes a while.

Choice of Dust: Wind, gravity, and lightning.

Weapon(s): Pearl has several combat styles, favoring martial arts as her opening in a fight. If she does draw her sword, she is fairly skilled with it, being a fully trained and decently powerful huntress. Her katana is named: Orchard's Whisper. Her Sheath and her sword can both transform into a pair of dual sawed-off shotguns. She favors the shotty to maximize pellet spray and kinetic energy impacts for her semblance should she need it. The sheath is called Radiant Wind when in its shotgun state.
