Name: Onyxaeria Silk (In accordance with RWBY's unspoken color name rule, her name is a derivation of onyx or black.)  She goes by the nicknames: Oni (own-ee), or Xaeria.

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Bisexual - Definitely prefers girls, but will go for the occasional boy.  However, only if she knows them well.  Be warned, she is a spider though.  Female spiders are known to be, er... "unforgiving" to their male partners on occasion.

Species: Genetically Modified Black Widow Spider Faunus.  She has a bit of Grimm in her because of a mishap during the modification process that created her, when a Grimm spider, sort of like the beetle that came out of Cinder's power stealing glove wound up getting absorbed at some point when it somehow got into the main system's tubing.

Appearance: She's about 5'4," so not too tall but certainly not overly short either.  She has messy black hair which she ties in very short pigtails with little red bows.  She wears a red dress with frilly short sleeves, a red bow on the collarbone, and four black buttons.  She wears black fishnets and shiny black open-toed heels.  She has a very goofy, almost childish expression, but her ivory white skin sometimes has a creepy, but beautiful countenance.  Her eyes are normally a very deep lavender or indigo, but they will glow a brilliant red if she's starting to reveal her Grimm aspects.  Her nails will turn into black claws, and black markings will appear on her skin.  Red glowing lines will also begin to appear around her eyes.  Her canines will grow even longer in this state, and her other teeth will sharpen.  Right at the very top of her chest, where the v-neck of her dress slopes is a faint black mark with a red hourglass shape on it.

Personality: Normally very cool and calm, somewhat like Aurum, but more outgoing and social.  She prefers to keep a level head when she can, although that's hard for her because she's a very high-energy person.  That said, push her too far in anger, or sadness, and she starts to feel the psychological effects of having a bit of Grimm in her, causing her to lash out at the source of her negativity, and to those displaying it in her general vicinity.  It was for this reason that she was deemed a failure, in spite of her enormous potential.  She also has a love of tea and rice-cakes.

Backstory: Like all of Rose's creations, she seems not to have much if any memory of her former self prior to the modifications that were made.  Like Rain, she does want to know where she comes from, having only known waking up in a huge and somewhat rundown genetics lab to fend for herself, with a set of weapons, and a list of orders to be carried out upon training and gaining acceptance into Beacon.

Aura: Red and purple, but it turns black when her Grimm aspects awaken.

Semblance: Toxic touch - Her semblance allows her to make use of a variety of venomous concoctions.  She can channel this venom through her aura into objects that she is touching, allowing her to add a nasty poisonous effect to almost any tool in her arsenal.  Her venom cannot kill or paralyze powerful opponents, but it's purpose is to weaken and cause them pain.  She cannot poison any aura infused weapons used by her enemy while they are holding them, since their aura will repel the poison effect through the weapon.

Dust: Wind, as she uses wind crystals with her semblance to cause toxic clouds.  

Weapons: Oni has a three-mode weapon at her disposal, called Ms. Muffet.  In its first mode, it serves as a pair of glaives that compliment her odd-melee fighting style.  Rather than Yang's brutish methods, she uses palm strikes and finger jabs on pressure points and nerve bundles to compliment her above-normal reflexes.  The glaives are chrome red with glowing purple lines in them where the gears meet, and extend the reach of her fingers with long metal armor-like points.  They also have a small storage pack where she adds silk proteins that she can fire as threads at her targets, however this is a limited supply.  In her weapon's second form, it's a red mini-uzi with a bright lavender bow wrapped around the iron-sight.  The third form is a whip, armed with small thorn-like barbs.

Alignment: Normally neutral good but will obey Rose's orders up to a point.

Faction: Rose and Beacon.

Other: Being a spider-faunus, the only one she's known, she is able to generate her own venom and silk, in spite of having no obvious animal traits save her fangs and the hourglass mark on her chest.  She uses her silk to make her own clothing, and silk, being stronger than steel, makes for a formidable defense especially when she channels her aura into it.  Her reflexes, hearing, sense of touch, and sense of balance are also better than most humans or Faunus thanks to her natural heritage and the genetic modifications.
