-Your Pov-

The world is too loud for a few moments, as you hear everything louder than it should be. The cry of Weiss in pain even over the sounds of the raging battles all around you. The sound she makes when she hits the ground. The steady trickling of her blood onto the floor. The thud of her head against the pavement. The cries of worry given by all of your friends, and then most aggravating of all is the little smirk Cinder makes when she sees the reactions of all of you. Perhaps the loudest thing in the room is the sound of Weiss crying out on more time before her eyes shut.

After those moments of everything being too loud, everything suddenly becomes silent, like a blast has gone off in your ears, and then you can't hear anything at all. The best you can do is watch, frozen in panic as Ruby's eyes burst into silver, and then she gets knocked out by Emerald. All the rest of your allies gather around Weiss, talking, but you can't hear anything that they're actually saying. You see her body, laying their motionless and not breathing, so weak and helpless.

As you see Weiss lay there, your mind races with so many things. Panic of course. Fear that there isn't going to be anything you can do. Horror at the thought Weiss is going to die. An overwhelming sadness when you think of her lifeless body. Sound comes back into the world, and then Mercury smirks. That damn little smirk of his. One more emotion comes into you, stronger than all of your other emotions. Anger and hatred at them for even daring to do something like this to Weiss. Hatred at all of them for trying to take Weiss away from this world.

Red light bubbles around you, and burns your body. It also floods wave after wave of power from you. The red light begins to form bubbly tails behind you, a visible sign of how much your power is being increased by the use of your Semblance. Normally, you can only control yourself up to the third one of these tails. Now, there are four of them and you feel fine. This power inside of you wants to destroy everything, to rip these people to shreds. And seeing what they did to Weiss, you're fully prepared to let it.

A throaty roar escapes you as the red light begins to envelop your body. In your mind's eye, you see the cage which holds the source of all this power, the 9 Tailed Fox. The creature glares at you before roaring, and then you simply stare back, before flying into the cage. You feel your body being distorted by the power, changing into a miniature fox with the four tails your body has manifested.

When the transformation is complete, you throw yourself at Cinder. Emerald throws her chained weapon around you, but then you grab onto it and then drag her to you, before slicing her stomach open with the claws your body now has. She cries out in pain, and then you thrash against her chains before they shatter. You stand above her, and then prepare to bring down your claws to crush her head in.

Before you have the chance to, Mercury comes in to kick you on the top of your head. He then spins and then kicks you. With the strength in your prosthetic legs, you fly back a few inches. Emerald holds her stomach as blood drips from her, and then Mercury leaps for you. When he gets close enough, you roar and then the shockwave sends him flying into a wall.

With the two of them out of the way, you jump into the air to attack Cinder. She simply looks at you quizzically, and then summons a storm of glass to throw at you. The pieces rip and tear at you, but you simply outstretch one of your arms to push her through a wall. She rises on the other side of it, and then simply smirks at you. " Little Fox," she says. " You're not even in the same league as the Silver-Eyes."

When she says this, you growl and then lunge for her again. Before you can get to her, Hazel tackles you and you go flying into the wall. Turning to see him, electricity sparks from his arms and then you fly for him. He braces himself and then catches your charge. Hazel lifts you and then is about to slam you into the ground, however you bite into his neck, and then he lets go of you, and then you send him flying with a kick.

Cinder begins to start blasting bolts of fire at you, which burn but you force yourself through them all. As you continue to run for her, you notice more and more Cinder's start to appear. This doesn't intimidate you in the slightest, and you continue to thrash at them all, only growing angrier at the ones which simply fade away when you touch them. This makes you angrier and angrier, as the real Cinder continues to avoid all of your attacks without a scratch on her.

As she flies into the air, you open your mouth and then masses of energy begins to build up. She tilts her head when she sees this. " Interesting," she says simply. " But, you're never going to be able to reach me with that weighted down aura."

She says this, and then the energy does indeed start to gain weight, and the ground begins to buckle under it. However, the energy then blasts at her in a laser of pure destructive energy, the heat of which melts the area around the two of you. " Contact with aura that dense may actually kill me," she admits, and then shards of glass fly around her to create a protective bubble.

The explosion from your attack fades, and then you see Cinder, bleeding heavily, which makes you sickly happy. As she breathes heavily and holds onto her damaged arm you realize this isn't nearly enough. Weiss is still more injured than her, and that isn't right at all. Seeing and thinking this, you growl at her again and prepare to throw yourself at her, before you notice the rest of her followers around you. Fine. You'll kill them all.

-Ruby Pov-

As I wake up, I rub my head and then I see Weiss lying on the ground. Running over to her, I see Jaune, Ren and Nora all gathered around. A strange light is going from Jaune's hands, and then I notice the wound slowly starting to close. " How is everybody," I ask, needing to formulate a strategy, the gears of my mind already racing.

" I'm fine," says Yang as she comes next to us. She lets out a sigh of relief when she sees Weiss slowly starting to be healed. " But, (y/n) lost it. He's got 6 tails now, and he's taking on Cinder and all of her followers."

I panic a bit when I hear this. I know he can only control himself up to the first three tails, and even then not well. It takes all of his efforts not to lose his mind and attack at random when he starts to manifest the tails, and then I also know that the energy from that form burns and tears apart his body, faster than his aura heals him from it. If he has six tails, then he's going to be damaged both by his own energy, and then the damage he takes from our enemies. On top of that, his mind must be so far gone that he can't even think to defend himself.

Jaune explains what he's doing right now, using his own aura to empower Weiss's. Nora then asks if he's worried that he's going to run out, and then he just shrugs a little bit. " Pyhrra said I have a lot of it," he answers, and then I snap out of it. I lost a comrade before because of Cinder, and I'm not going to risk losing two more.

" Jaune, whatever it is you're doing, keep doing it," I tell him, and then I stand up and grab my scythe. " Ren, Nora, cover him. Don't let anyone get past this point. Make it happen RNJR." They smile slightly when I say this, and then tell me that they won't let anyone hurt Jaune or Ren.

" You okay," asks Yang as she and I start to run back toward the fight between (y/n) and the group of our enemies.

" No, I'm angry," I tell her, and then she nods. We get to the fight, and then see how (y/n) is being slightly driven back as he fights all of them at once. My eyes visible widen when I see that his has manifested 8 tails, and he seems to be in the verge of losing what little control he has left. Yang and I can't do anything to get close, we'll be blasted apart either by an attack or simply just by the pressure of the aura (y/n) has in this form.

" We're gonna divert some of the enemies from him," I tell her, and then I fire Crescent Rose, and then Mercury tackles Emerald out of the way of a shot. The two of them see me and Yang, and then nod and charge into to fight us, which makes me let out a sigh of relief. He might still be outnumbered and losing his mind, but at least he doesn't have to fight them all by himself.

-Your Pov-

Cinder still manages to defeat you, along with her followers. Her power is beating you back, and even though you're giving it everything you have, she seems to be in control of the situation as well. Eight tails have already manifested around you, and then you know what you have to do in order to beat her, and save Weiss, and if you've already lost her, then what you have to do in order to avenge her and make sure these people can never hurt anyone ever again.

Swimming out of the cage, you then reach for the seal of the 9 Tails. Placing your hand on it, you begin to think about if this is what you really want to do. You feel a hand on yours and then you look over to see Weiss in the mind of your eye. And then when you see her, your frenzied mind begins to race and flashback between all the moments you've had with Weiss.

-Flashback Your Pov-

Your first day at Beacon, and then you hop off the Bullhead. " Believe it! I, (y/n) (l/n) am going to be the greatest huntsman of all time!" You smile when you see the weird looks from the people around you, and then you begin to happily dash around Beacon, and take in all of the sights the place has to over. Before you get too far, you bump into someone and then fall on your butt. Looking up, you see a beautiful girl, with a cute scar through one of her icy blue eyes, and then her white hair.

" Do you have any idea where you're going," she asks angrily. " Ugh. This is the second time today someone's bumped into me. And that stupid blank stare on your face. Do you have any idea who I am?" You shake your head to let her know you have absolutely no idea who she is. " Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Corporation."

She then starts to walk away as you shout to her that you're going to be the greatest huntsman of all time, and then smile when she walks away. Weiss Schnee.....she's incredibly.

-Flashback Your Pov-

You sit on the other side of the door, and slump into a ball. Weiss has just chased you out of the room, angrily that you had accidentally spilled coffee on her desk. You hadn't meant to do that. All you wanted to do was something nice for her, and then you couldn't even manage to do that right for her. Inside of the room, you hear Weiss arguing with her team.

Ruby: Why would you do that?!

Weiss: He spilled coffee everywhere, he's so clumsy and immature. Probably because he never had any parents to lecture him.

Blake: People without parents grow up selfish and lonely. Do you have any idea what that must have been like for him? A lecture from your parents can't even compare.

After that, you don't hear anything else, and then the door opens and Weiss sits down next to you. You go to turn away, but she pulls you into an awkward hug. " I'm sorry," she says. " I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. You did a nice thing trying to make me coffee. I didn't....I know I can be difficult sometimes. I'm sorry. Would you like to start over."

You nod, and then perk up instantly, happy at her offer. " I'm (y/n) (l/n), and I'm going to be the greatest huntsman," you tell her again, and then she chuckles before reintroducing herself to you as Weiss Schnee.

-Flashback Your Pov-

You stand outside the dorm to Team RWBY, your phone exploding with texts from your team and friends, hyping you up. Today is the day you're going to ask Weiss out, and somehow, most of the entire school knew this was coming, and was giving you pep talks, threats to protect Weiss, as well as people simply telling you unhelpful things. For some reason, your heart is beating in your chest faster than it ever has. Why is that happening? You've risked your life dozens of times. So why is this making you more scared than anything else?

" Believe it, believe it, believe it, believe it," you mutter to yourself over and over again before you knock on the door, and then Weiss opens it. The rest of her team all left to make this possible, and you begin to breathe heavily.

You begin to stand there breathing and sweating heavily, and trying to say something, as she looks at you, more and more impatiently. Eventually, you just let out a long sigh. " Will you go out with me," you ask her all in one go, before you can think about it for another second and lose your courage.

To your surprise, she then hugs you and then says, " Of course you dunce!" And then she playfully smacks you. " What took you so long?"

-Flashback Your Pov-

You send Weiss into a spin, and then catch her, and the two of you look into each other's eyes. " Are you sure this is your first time dancing," she asks, and then you nod. " You're a prodigy at this." You smile at her, both at what she says, the fact she even agreed to go out with you, the fact she took you to the dance with her, and then the fact she's teaching you how to do this.

She cups your face, and then the two of you look at each other happily and contently, and then everything else starts to fade out. You keep muttering to yourself to 'believe it,' and then you look at Weiss. " I love you," you tell her, and then she kisses you passionately.

" I love you too," she says, and then waits for a moment. " Dunce."

-Present Day Weiss Pov-

I wake up, and then see Jaune with a light coming from his hands. He quickly explains to me what this is, and then I nod. I look over to see (y/n) with eight of the energy tails manifested, which makes me start to freak out. When Jaune finishes healing me, I then immediately dash over to (y/n). By this point, he's taken out everyone he was fighting, however he's still rampaging. The ninth and final tail starts to bubble to the surface, and I know I need to stop this now.

" (y/n)!" When I call out his name, he turns to me and I see how much the transformation has affected him. " It's me, Weiss. I'm okay. You can calm down now." He looks at me like he recognizes me, and then the bubbles of the final tail fade, and then I start walking towards him knowing I need to stop this.

" I'm not going to hurt you," I assure him, and then some of the tails starts to fade away. " That's it. It's me, Weiss. Your girlfriend. I'm right here for you. It's going to be okay. I'm okay. We're okay." When I say this, the tails fade away and his body returns to normal and he falls.

I run and then quickly catch him. His body is burned, scarred and cut, both from his own power as well as the damage he took fighting the enemies. Jaune runs over to the two of us and then starts to heal him as well, however he does it from as far away as possible to make sure (y/n) and I have a moment of privacy. " I thought I'd lost you," says (y/n) weakly.

" Dunce," I tell him, tears falling from my eyes. " What if I lost you? What if I woke up and you had died or had lost control completely? What would I have done then?" He sobs when I say this, and then he and I hold onto each other.

" I love you Weiss," he says weakly.

" I love you too," I tell him after a kiss.

That night I hear a knock on my door, which draws me out of a deep sleep. I look up to see (y/n0, crying and bags under his eyes. " I had a nightmare," he says, and then I sit up right away and then pat my bed and then he sits down next to me.

" What was it," I ask him, switching gears from being tired to comforting him.

" I kept dreaming you died, and there was nothing I could do. And you died in my arms, and oh Oum. You're my world Weiss, my entire world. And I almost lost you today. And there was nothing I could have done," he says, a tremble in his voice.

At this, I set him down and then put my arms around him. " You didn't lose me sweetheart," I remind him. " I'm right here, and you and I are together. You and I can make it through anything, because it's us. I'm right here."

I see him growing drowsy, and then I pull him into a hug, and set his head to my chest. " Just listen to my heartbeat (y/n)," she says. " It's going to be okay." He quickly falls asleep as he listens to my heartbeat, and then I grow drowsy as he snores, and then fall asleep holding him.

-Epilogue Your Pov-

In time, you had been able to come to a happy life with Weiss. Along with your friends, you defeated Salem after Ruby figured out how to use the Silver-Eyes and you learned how to properly use the power of the 9 Tails. After the war between human and Grimm had ended, you proposed to Weiss, and then the two of you had moved in together. Right now, you were having a little bit of a nightmare, as you tended to, still of Weiss being impaled that day.

" Shh, focus on my heartbeat sweetie," says Weiss, as she lowers your head to allow you to listen to her heartbeat, which is the only thing that allows you to calm down when you have this nightmares.

" I love you Weiss," you tell her as you listen to her heartbeat, your second favorite sound in the world.

" I love you too," she says, your favorite sound in the world.
