Man, you should've seen our faces when we found out that Oobleck was a Huntsman, especially the fact that he was our Huntsman.

"Professor Oobleck?!" Weiss said.

Oobleck goes on to say this really long speech about...stuff???

He said it waaaay too fast.

"--And it's Doctor Oobleck, I didn't earn a Ph.D for fun thank you very much." He said to Weiss.

"And, according to my schedule, we are already three minutes behind...schedule!" He says and runs really fast to the ship that was waiting for us at the dock.

"Well, that escalated quickly." Omega said.

"Ahhh! I see what you did there!" I said.

Team JNPR somehow got behind us.

We didn't notice them until we heard Nora's voice,"You're going on world-saving missions without us?! I'm hurt, sad...and maybe a little hungry. That last one's not your fault though...Ren."

"So, what kind of mission did you guys pick?" I asked them.

"Nora wanted to help the Sheriff of a nearby village." Answered Phyrra.

"Okay." I said.

"We- well, they-" I motioned at team RWBY,"-did. But we were gonna do whatever they did because, they think that the White Fang has a hideout or something in the Southeast."

"Then you can party with us tonight!" Said Sun, who came out from behind team JNPR. I don't really see him or Neptune that much, probably because I don't know them that well, but I knew them well enough.

"We're gonna be doing undercover City detective stuff. We get badges, so you know it's official." Says Sun.

"Well-"Ruby started but was cut off by Professor- I mean Doctor Oobleck yelling,"Four minutes ladies and gents!"

We all kind of just looked at each other for a while, probably realizing that we weren't going to be seeing each other for some time.

"Well," Ruby continued.

"Wish us luck."

And with that, we went our separate ways, except for team RWBY and OmGa.

-(On the way to Southeast Vale)-

The side panels on the ship we were on were kept open, mostly because Yang wanted to "feel the air rushing past" her.

But also for fresh air. And the view.

The view was amazing!!!

Until we flew out of Vale and over the Emerald forest. Then, it was mostly just trees.

On the way there, we kind of talked about random things that we would usually talk about during lunch- speaking of lunch- we aren't going to have lunch at the cafeteria for the next few days. The food was good too. (Wish I could say that about school lunches)

All of us were still recovering from the fact that Oobleck is a Huntsman. We kind of just asked him questions like,"How long have you been a Huntsman for?" And,"How many Grimm have you fought?"

You know, just normal Huntsman stuff.

Which made me think. Me and Omega came to Beacon looking for a place to hide, not to become a Huntsman. But, you know, I might finally have something to work for other than just, normal everyday school stuff.

I was going to tell Omega this, when our ship began tilting downwards.

We were nearly there.

The ship hovered above the place where we were supposed to get off.

Nothing fancy, just flat concrete.

We jumped off one by one, with Pro-Ugh! Doctor Oobleck being last.

The place was like a ghost town. Mostly because it was. Well, a ghost city is more like it.

There were crumbling building absolutely everywhere.

The part that I didn't like the most, was that there was hardly any color other than the gray concrete, which was everywhere.

I don't like this, because I don't have very good eyesight. Surprisingly, since I'm a Faunus.

"This is exactly how I thought it would look." Said Omega.

"Ruby!" P-*sharp intake**sigh* Doctor!!!!!! Oobleck said to Ruby. (I will now refer to the profs. And docs. Of the academy by their last name)

"I thought I told you to leave your bags at school."

"But, you hadn't told us to listen to you yet...so I didn't." She said.

"True, true..." Said Omega.

"Very well, you may leave in here and we will retrieve it upon our return." Oobleck said.

"But-"

"Young lady! What could possibly be in that bag that is so important you had to take it with y-"

A dog-head pops out of the bag.

"Get back in the bag!" Ruby whispers to it.

"We're here, investigating an urban jungle teeming with inhospitality, and you brought...a dog." Oobleck says.

"I...Uhh.."

"Genius!!!" Oobleck says and takes the dog out of Ruby's bag.

"K9s are historically known for their accurate sense of smell, making them useful for hints such as ours."

"Nice job getting out of trouble." I whisper to her.

"So, when do we start?" Asked Blake.

"Ah! Straight to the chase. I like it. As you know, the southeast area is a recent hotspot for hostile activity one of the main reasons being-Grimm." Oobleck says.

"What?"

"Grimm, a creature of Grimm approximately 100 yards from our current position." He said.

"What?!" Blake said.

We all turned around at the same time.

There was only one, I don't even consider this as a threat.

Compared to the things that happened back when I was a kid.

Omega didn't look concerned either. He kind of just stood there looking at it. Probably thinking that the same thing I was thinking.

Omega's POV

Meh. I thought when I saw the lone Beowolf out in the open. I wasn't the least bit worried.

Gabe's POV

Team RWBY drew their weapons so I decided I should too.

I pulled out one dagger, because that's all I thought I'd need if it ever came at us.

Omega, however hadn't even realized what we were doing, and was still looking at it.

"Dude." I said, and tapped his shoulder.

"Huh? What?" He said. And as soon as he looked away, the Beowolf fell over.

We all looked at it again. It wasn't moving.

"What?!" Everyone other than Omega and Oobleck said.

"Dude, did you see that?" I turned to Omega.

He was smiling a bit. Now I realized what happened.

Omega used his semblance, and drew all the energy out of the Beowolf.

You'd understand me if I told you how overpowered his semblance is. And you'd understand why we want to keep that from the White Fang.

"Did you do what I think you did?" I asked him.

"You know I did." He said.

"What happened?" Yang asked.

"He-" I started but he cut me off.

"I drew the energy out of the Beowolf." Omega said.

"You what!?" Team RWBY all said in unison.

"I do believe it's his semblance." Oobleck said.

Omega nodded and said,"There's a lot more of them back there."

He pointed at a building to our left and, as if on cue, a Beowolf appeared. Then another.

Pretty soon there was pretty much a whole pack in front of us.

"Now, you might need your weapons." Omega said.

The Beowolves charged at us. I drew both daggers and turned them into pistols.

"What's the plan now?" Yang asked.

Oobleck looked at us and said,"Show me what you're capable of."
