I honestly didn't want to do that. But when you're presented with a threat like that, it'll force you to either take action or run off.

I get my food and sit down next to my team. I got a weird look from Regret. He must've noticed the blood on my lip.

"Hey what happened dude?" Says Regret with the sound of worry in his voice.

"Cardin, that's what happened. They were going to 'beat me up' and when they did it was a short conversation from there."

"Man he's got beef with you. Not to mention he's also got a death wish."

"Yeah no kidding. Him and his team are laying in the hall in pain right now. I told them if they mess with Jaune or Velvet, I would do worse.

Everyone around listened, and after maybe a few seconds, Jaune spoke up.

"Thank you man, I probably don't deserve it but considering the circumstances, thank you."

"Thats what friends are for, Jaune. And if he ever comes up to you again and picks on you, come talk to me, and I will handle it."

Knowing Nora, I think she'll want to do something rash like this. I was right when she said this.

"Ooh, we'll break his legs!"

We sat in silence for a couple seconds.

"Hey Ren?"

"Yeah?"

"She wouldn't have to be a potential psychopath would she?"

"No, but having an itchy trigger finger might have something to do with it."

Everyone at the table laughed as we ate our lunch. It was a good time. I heard my scroll go off in my pocket. I pull it out to check it and I immediately got worried.

"Oh no..."

"What is it?" Says Snow.

"It's Ozpin. He wants to see me."

"Well tell me how it goes bro."

"I will."

After I put my tray back I went to his office. There was him and team CRDL waiting for me.

"Mr. Satero, please take a seat."

So I did. With CRDL staring right at me.

"Team CRDL tells me that you were walking down the hall when you assaulted them. I need to know if that's true."

"I was acting in self defense. They attacked first, so I attacked back."

"Yeah, tell that to my twisted ankle. Stop lying kid. Admit it, you attacked us."

"Cardin, you do realize that the cameras have visual and audio capabilities right?"

"I uhh...."

I got him there. And just by the look on his face tells me that he was trying to come up with another lie. Meanwhile Ozpin put up the recording of the event on the screen.

When the clip was over, Cardin knew he was screwed. Ozpin proceeded to say something.

"Nightmare, believe me, you're hardly the first temperamental huntsman I've had to deal with. Though it was a bit extreme, your actions were justified. And as for you Cardin, you and your team have been bullying other students since day one. I don't know why you do this, and I probably ever won't find the exact answer I'm looking for but no matter the reason, it stops now. You've worked to gain entrance to Beacon and we train huntsman and huntresses to protect the people. Do you understand?"

"Yes headmaster."

"Good. Team CRDL you are dismissed."

When they get back on the elevator, Ozpin needs to talk to me more.

"Nightmare, I know this has been a difficult transition for you. Having to lead a new team will be stressful. I want to know why. That data chip you gave me when we first met only gave me your service record during your time in the UNSC."

"I had 2 team mates. They were my closest friends during then, their names were David and Carol. We were the best of our division actually. Ever since they died, that only harmed me more on a psychological level. PTSD, and I was born with ADHD so that contributed to the PTSD. Extreme anger problems, and I went from having cold-blooded efficiency as my killing style to unrivaled brutality. I wanted to make those Covenant bastards suffer for what they did... for what they took from me."

I clenched my fists tighter and was about ready to go off world just to have a fight with the Covenant.

"And what about your family?"

"A bunch of asshole burglars went into my home and shot them while I was at Dominoes getting a pizza that we ordered that night."

"All of this must've been very painful for you. Life just bending you until you break."

"That about sums it up, yeah."

"Well, I think it would be in your best interest to spend the rest of this time with your team today. Take your mind off of these events that happened."

"I will sir. And thank you for listening."

As soon as I was about to get on the elevator, Ozpin said something.

"Oh and remember, you have a field trip with Mrs. Goodwitch tomorrow."

"Okay. Thanks for reminding me."

"See you soon Mr. Satero."

"Likewise Prof. Ozpin."
