I got moved ahead a year. Who would figure right?

I got an incredible view from the airship we were traveling to beacon on.

I hear a blonde girl from across the room talking to her friend from what it sounds like.

"Ooh I'm so glad my baby sister is coming to Beacon with me! This is the best day ever!"

The other girl who was practically being crushed was trying to say something.

"Please stop..."

I couldn't help but chuckle. Than Glynda Appears on a hologram just before we arrive.

"Hello and welcome to Beacon. My name is Glynda Goodwitch. You re among the privileged few to have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious acedemy! Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsman and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and training to protect our world." (I had to write this down and re type it XD)

I got a good view of Signal from up here. I could hear the one girl in the red cloak sound happy to no end.

"You could see Signal from up here... I guess home isn't to far after all.

"Beacon's our home now."

Some blonde hair guy was running past me with his mouth covered. He did not look like he feel good.

"Eww eww Yang you have puke on your shoe!

"Gross gross gross gross gross!"

"Ahh get away, get away from me!"

Something struck me as familiar about the cloaked girl.

I could've sworn I've seen her from somewhere.

We landed and I followed the crowd outside. Than I heard her say my name.

"Nightmare? Is that you?"

Ruby! I remember now. She was just a grade under me at Signal, and she was the only person that would conversate with me. I was the type of person who never went out and made friends. I was more of the 'sit against a wall and not speak during lunch' type person.

"Ruby? Good lord, it's been a while. What are you doing here?"

"Well I got moved ahead 2 years. It's kinda weird being here.

"Let me guess, Glynda came and talked to you?"

"Wha? How did you know?" She seemed, how do I put this, confused that I knew about Glynda.

"Well I saw the news that there was a dust robbery led by Roman Torchwick. It was that same night the police got in a huge shootout with the White Fang. And well.... I saved their skins from certain death."

"How bad did it get?"

"It was pretty bad. They had RPG's and the SWAT team there were getting butchered. Fast forward couple nights and now I'm here."

Yang interrupts the conversation saying, "so you two know eachother?"

"Well, Ruby was the first person I met during my time at Signal. I'm not very good at making friends so she was the only person I ever talked to."

"Well don't worry, I'll help you out."

She goes to punch me in the arm, and when she does she takes her hand back.

"Oww! What is your arm made of?"

"Huh? Oh yeah I had to get my arm replaced.

"For what?"

I could either tell her the truth or just rub it off.

"Mmm.... reasons. I'd rather not talk about it if it's okay with you."

I wanted to go look around this place so I told them both that'd I'd see then later. "Well I best be going. We probably have to go somewhere anyway."

"Well it was great to see you again!"

"Likewise Ruby. Take care."
