The scene opens up with Robert with a parachute on his back.

Ozpin: Mr. Keating, your mission is to retrieve a relic from an abandoned temple. You will be facing opposition along the way.

Robert nodded as it showed the students watching.

Coco: Who's Keating?

Ruby: The guy you see is Robert Keating. Unfortunately, you can only see his arms and his M1 Rifle, but when he arrives, he's in a green uniform, aged 27.

They view him on the camera as they see him fire his M1 Garand on two Beowolves as when he checks one, it was still alive, so he put a bullet in its head.

Yang: Savage.

Ruby: He did that to a Japanese soldier when he was in Guadalcanal. He was just 26.

Weiss: When was he born?

Ruby: The 23rd of March, 1916.

It later shows him hiding as he just appeared and fired a shot at an Ursa Grimm as it fell to the ground, lifeless.

Emerald: This guy is very different from the other students here.

She watched him charge at an Ursa with a Bayonet on his M1 Garand.

Mercury: I could take him on. (You are so wrong, my guy)

Cinder: I believe that he can help us with our plans.

It later shows Robert arriving at the temple as the Relics are chess pieces. Robert retrieved a Black Knight Piece as he returned, and he was lucky to find a Jeep with three weapons inside of it.

Weapon 3: BAR

Robert drove the jeep as he arrived at the cliff where Ozpin and Glynda were. Later on, it shows him at the Amphitheater.

Ozpin: Corporal Robert Keating, you have retrieved the Black Knight Piece. And hereby, you are now a Beacon Academy student.

Everyone clapped at this as he Saluted.
