After the Monster Hunters touched down on Beacon Academy things started out okay then turned a bit disastrous as one of their members Silver was originally from the Four Kingdoms and has a family. Sadly due to her memory loss, it was a sad reunion as the people who know her could not bring her memories back. Though not all was lost as there is a chance for Silver to return her memories. Now as for the current situation the Monster Hunters are now stationed at Beacon and prepared to fight the monsters that arrive to the Kingdom of Vale and as what monster shows up is unknown but with the Monster Hunter's help that won't be an issue. Now with that said let the quest begin.

Cafeteria 

At the Cafeteria the hunters were seen eating their meals and talking to one another.

Ruth: This carrot stew is delicious and the steak even tastes better.

Onur: I have to give it to the chef for the tuna to melt. It's very delicious.

Leonidas: The researchers have already started their studies on the local areas. No monster sightings, yet but they have their suspicions.

Xandra: Suspicions are never good, that probably means a few monsters have already touched down here.

The Hunters look at one another as the thought of Monster already arriving was nerve-wracking. Suddenly we hear the sound of someone in pain and everyone turns to see a bunny Faunus having her ears pulled by a group of bullies. This made the other hunters mad but it was a lot worse for Ruth as the bunny Faunus that was being bullied was Ruth's little sister Velvet.

Ruth: Oh someone is going to have some broken bones.

Before Ruth could get up, Leonidas stopped her.

Leonidas: Ruth, we can't attack students.

Ruth: That's my sister Leo! She won't fight back and let those guys keep hurting her.

Onur: If you attack them Ruth it would cause trouble for us as Monster Hunters. I know you care for you sister but if you attack them it won't help anyone.

Leonidas: I'll handle it, I would never standby and let my friends family suffer.

Leonidas got up before approaching the group and tapping them on the shoulder.

Leonidas: You know it is considered rather rude to harass someone minding their own business.

Bully 1: Well she should have minded her business being in this school for being a freak.

When the bully said that Ruth really wanted to hit the bully, Onur held her down.

Leonidas: Freak? No you're mistaken the only freaks in this school are my team and I.

When Leonidas said that bullies looked confused until he turned to the table behind him.

Leonidas: May I borrow your table for a moment? I promise to be quick.

The people were confused but got up from the table. Leonidas grabbed the table before in one fluid motion lifted it above his head like a barbell.

Leonidas: You see as Monster Hunters our weapons are rather heavy and unwieldy, so we need some rather freakish strength to wield them properly.

Leonidas said which the Bullies just look at him fear which they stopped grabbing Velvet who just watched Leonidas put the table back down before turning to her.

Leonidas: Velvet right?

Velvet: Yes, but how do you know my name?

Leonidas: Come sit with us, a friend of ours has been dying to meet you.

Velvet was shocked and a bit confused until she saw someone waving at her and was shocked to see it was her sister Ruth.

Velvet: Ruth!

Velvet just ran over to her as fast as she could and she then received a loving hug from her big sister.

Ruth: Long time no see Vel.

Ruth said hugging her sister who just hugged her back and while that happened Leonidas just smiled and then turned to the bullies.

Leonidas: I look forward to seeing you all in my class. I'll teach all about some real monsters, and the people who hunt them.

Leonidas said that the bullies looked at him confused until Glynda showed up.

Glynda: Professor Nikos what are you doing?

Leonidas: Oh Professor Goodwitch, I'm just meeting some of my students. My class starts up next week and everyone is required to take it so I thought I'd get to know a few of them.

Glynda just looks at Leonidas and just sighs.

Glynda: Professor Nikos please refrain from showing off to your students and please place the table down that is not a piece of exercise equipment.

Leonidas: Sorry, they were curious about the differences between Huntsmen and Monster Hunters.

Glynda: I see well I will be on my way. Good day, Professor Nikos.

Glynda then leaves the cafeteria and once gone the bullies just pale in fear as the person in front of them was their new professor.

Leonidas: I look forward to teaching all of you. I'm sorry for disrupting your lunch everyone.

Leonidas then walks back to his group while the bullies decide to leave the cafeteria after the display they saw. Leonidas then sits down with his group and Onur just looks at his friend.

Onur: Always the one to give a direct approach to teaching ay Leo.

Leonidas: There's no point in dancing around the main point of the topic. I was simply demonstrating the physical requirements a Hunter needs.

Ruth: Yes, you did and it seems they got the logistics of it.

Ruth said chuckling while patting her sister's head who was still hugging her.

Velvet: I missed you, sis.

Ruth: Same here Vel.

Xandra: Awww, you're so cute like your sister! A lot nicer too, she tried to bite my hand off when I tried petting her ears.

When Xandra said that Ruth just looks at her with an annoyed look.

Ruth: You petted my ears when I was asleep!

Xandra: That's because you were really scary when we first met! You always had that scowl on your face!

Ruth became more annoyed while her sister Velvet laughed a bit.

Velvet: You are still the same as ever Ruth.

Ruth: Yeah, though after becoming a hunter I changed.

Onur: Indeed a once feisty girl turned into a well-trained and pinpoint accurate sniper.

Onur said while Ruth looked at him with a smile.

Ruth: And you used to be a loner with aggression in combat that rivaled a Rajang.

Onur: I was not that bad.

Leonidas: You did send us both flying over that cliff during a training session when you took my joke the wrong way. Good thing long fall training is a part of being a Hunter or that probably would've seriously injured us.

Onur ears folded and he lowered his head.

Onur: I am sorry for that incident but it didn't help how you worded it. That is all I am saying.

Leonidas: Right, different cultures and misunderstandings tend to lead to that. At least we became friends during the climb back up.

Onur chuckled and nodded which the whole table then started to chuckle but little did they know someone watching them to be more precise it was Blake looking at Onur surprised.

Blake: It can't be.

Weiss: What is it, Blake?

Blake then turns to Weiss.

Blake: I know that Faunus. The one sitting with Pyhrra's older brother.

Weiss: Who? He's a tiger, does that mean he's related to a family friend?

Blake then sighed but nodded.

Blake: Yes, he is related to the new leader of the White Fang.

When Blake said that, Weiss's eyes widened.

Weiss: He's related to Sienna? Didn't you say that she was violent? He seems rather mellow in comparison to your description of her.

Blake: Yes, his name is Onur Kahn and unlike Sienna he leaned towards my father's ideals for the White Fang but when his sister took over it did not end well.

Blake said remembering the incident from her home.

Weiss: They mentioned forming Guilds in all 4 Kingdoms. Maybe you should accompany them to Menagerie so nothing gets out of hand.

Blake: Weiss you don't understand. When he left Menagerie he was branded as a traitor for leaving the White Fang.

Weiss looked at Blake in shock and then at Onur.

Weiss: Her own brother? Here I thought my father was cruel.

Blake: Well allow me to say he is definitely Sienna's brother you see he had a semblance that made him strike people at a fast pace. His strikes were calculated and vicious. He earned the title as Raging Tiger. Though besides the nickname the reason he was branded a traitor was that he attacked members of the White Fang for trying to kill a human family. This did not sit well with Sienna and she tried to imprison him but in doing so earned his wrath. The people who fought him were hospitalized and Sienna was beaten down by him to an inch of her life. After that he gave her one warning and he left my home and never was heard again until now.

Weiss then looks shocked again and looks at Onur and tries to understand how a guy like him looking calm and relaxed could do something to his own sister.

Weiss: He doesn't seem violent, but everyone has a breaking point I suppose. I know you didn't leave home in the best way, but I think you should consider offering to go with them. Having the Chief's daughter by their side might curb hostilities.

Blake: I think that would be a good idea as if I do go with them Onur might be forced to fight our people and the last thing the Monster Hunters need is for that to happen. Anyway, you have been staring at that girl Xandra. Do you know her Weiss?

Weiss: It's her last name that bothers me, Bree. That is the last name of one of Atlas Academy's Ace Operatives, Harriet Bree. I overheard that she apparently had a little sister that went missing a few years ago. It has me suspicious......

Blake was surprised by that knowledge and looked at Xandra.

Blake: This is really surprising a lot of these people from the outer reaches are from our side of the world. Your right, Weiss, that is strange.

Weiss nodded and both of them continued to stare at the Monster Hunters who were seen chatting with one another.

Onur: So guys I think we should finish our lunch and practice drills because who knows when a monster will show up.

Ruth: Yeah, that would be a good idea.

Xandra: There could already be plenty here, after all it takes awhile for a Quest to be approved. We could have a few quests lined up, and the Guild Knights need to chase the monster into the designated hunting zones. Could you imagine if we didn't have all the branches of the guild backing us up?

Onur and Ruth shuttered at that thought as it would be a disaster.

Onur: That is a scary thought Xandra.

Ruth: Yeah girl and if we didn't things would get out of hand and people would get hurt.

Leonidas: That's why we need to give it our all as Monster Hunters, we are not just representing ourselves, but all of those who help make our job possible. Us Hunters are only as good as the people supporting us, we will have a long road ahead in gaining trust of the 4 Kingdoms, but whoever said our job was easy?

The group nodded as everything they did was not easy from their training, and they got to the outer reach. Nothing was easy for them but even though it was difficult they pushed themselves and became the fully-fledged Monster Hunters.

Onur: Leo is right nothing is never easy but it doesn't mean it's impossible.

Ruth: Yeah that is the spirit, Onur if we work hard and give it our all we can establish guilds to combat the migration.

Xandra: Even if we have to face stuff that is scary, if we work together we can overcome anything!

Everyone agreed and Leonidas nodded but suddenly they heard footsteps and turned around to see a woman with two long swords strapped to her back, she was a Wyverian, long purple hair done up in a ponytail. She wore a kimono skirt combo and boots designed for her Wyverian legs.

Leonidas: Guild Master Akemi? Are all preparations with setting up the facilities around Beacon going well?

Akemi: Everything is progressing smoothly Leo, the Smithy has been completely set up, the farm is almost complete, the Palico Exploration team is building their modes of transport as we speak. We have also almost got a system in place for the people in Vale to file possible Quests to be approved.

Onur: Well that is good to know. Hey, why don't we go check on the progress?

Ruth: I like the idea. What about you Xandra, Leo?

Leonidas: We should check in and make sure to offer our help where it's needed.

The group throws away their trash before they start heading out of the cafeteria to check in on the progress the rest of the Guild has been making.

New Dawn

On the airship and guild building known as the New Dawn, the hunters are seen checking the progress and find that almost everything is set up except the smithy shop as it was already done.

Onur: Well guys things are almost done.

Leonidas: They have the Quest Board set up, maybe we should check to see if there are any quests we can go on?

Ruth: Good idea Leo come on guys, let's go see what's been posted.

The hunters then walked over to the quest board and looked at all the quests.

Onur: Huh this is surprising there are a lot more quests for us here than usual I see.

Xandra: I see one to mine metal ore for Signal Academy's students so they can build their weapons.

Ruth: I see one that says to kill some Vespoid over in Patch.

Leonidas: Of course the first things to make it over here are the oversized bugs.

Leonidas looked over the quest board until one in particular caught his eye. It had a drawing of what appeared to be a blue bear with spiked arms on it. Leonidas removed the quest from the board as he read it over.

Onur: So Leo what does the quest say?

Leonidas: It's titled The Unbearable Honey Thief. The client is listed as Disgruntled Huntress. The description reads as follows. I was in Forever Fall trying to gather some honey when this giant blue bear ran me over! It b-lined it for one of the many trees that are home to honey bees. It broke the nest open and devoured all the honey. I snuck away and saw that he had left a path of fallen trees in his wake! This guild handles stuff like this right? Then hunt down this Honey Thief! Objective Hunt an, Arzuros.

Ruth: So we are going after a giant honey-loving bear monster. If I recall, they tend to be on the lower side of intelligence.

Xandra: Arzuros love honey, so it must have caught a whiff of all the honey in Forever Fall and came running. If it keeps knocking down trees it could really hurt the bee population!

The others agreed and all decided to accept the quest.

Leonidas: I'll go give the quest to the Guild Stewardess. All of you get your armor and weapons, make sure to fully stock your item pouches this is our first big hunt.

All of them nodded and headed back to their living quarters to grab their gear.

10 minutes later

After 10 minutes everyone came back to the New Dawn with their armor and weapons and supplies.

Onur: Okay, I got my weapon plus healing potions, energy drinks and some traps. What did you guys bring?

Ruth: I brought several different types of ammo, healing potions, and energy drinks. How about Xandra? What did you bring with you?

Xandra: I have the standard potions, and the like. I brought two traps as well, along with Well Done Steaks in case any of us get hungry. I also have some extra Ammo for you Ruth.

Leonidas: Looks like we have more or less the same standard items for our first proper hunt. I however brought something to help us.

The other members looked at Leonidas as to what he brought with him for the hunt and saw that he had a jar of honey in his hand.

Onur: So we are going to lure the Arzuros with a jar of honey?

Leonidas: Not quite. When we touch down in Forever Fall's base camp and grab the maps and supplies from the box. We will locate an opening in the dense tree line. Once we do, I will go off and find the Arzuros and lead it back to the opening with this jar of honey. While I'm doing that I want all of you to prepare for the approaching monster, that way we can use its love of honey against it.

The group looked at Leonidas and nodded at the plan.

Ruth: That is a pretty solid plan Leo.

Leonidas: Use every advantage we can, now who's ready for our first real big monster hunt?

The group smiled and raised their weapons which Leonidas nodded and everyone then headed to the small airship that came with the New Dawn and rode it off to the Forever Fall Forest.

Forever Fall Forest

After 20 minutes of riding the airship, the hunters touched down on the camp for the Forever Fall Forest.

Leonidas: Okay there are 4 maps and 12 First Aid Meds. Everyone takes a map and 4 First Aid Meds. Then we head out to the nearest clearing to put our plan into motion.

The other hunters nodded and grabbed the first aid med.

Onur: Okay, I got mine.

Ruth: Same here also I wonder what Arzuros looks like in person? I get it just looks like a giant bear but what else?

Xandra: We'll just have to find out. Leo, please be careful, we're a team. We can lose our leader on our first real hunt.

Leonidas smiled at Xandra before parting her on the head.

Leonidas: What and leave you 3 to figure things out? The thought terrifies me!

The group smiled at Leo as they couldn't have asked for a better leader than him.

Onur: Well Leo we wish you the best. We will wait for your signal and ground that beast when he comes our way.

Ruth: Can't wait to shoot that giant Teddy Bear down.

Xandra: Let's do this team!

Everyone nodded and they all headed into the Forever Fall Forest.

Clearing In Forest

The hunters have made it to the clearing where they plan to ambush the Arzuros. Leonidas had gone off to lure it towards his team's location while Onur, Xandra, and Ruth started preparing.

Xandra: I'll set a pitfall trap that Leo can lead it into, after all that running he'll need a way to get that Arzuros off his tail!

Xandra pulled out a metal cylinder that she set on the ground before activating it. The ground rumbled as the dirt burst down into a large hole covered by a thick layer of fake foliage that the trap deployed from its sides.

Ruth: Okay, the trap is set now all we need to do is wait.

Onur: Yes, though it probably takes a while.

The other hunters nodded and got prepared for when Leonidas would arrive.

With Leonidas

Leonidas was seen deeper in the forest and was checking for tracks or clues to where the Arzuros could be.

Leonidas: These trees have scratches in them or have been completely knocked over. The Arzuros should be close by......

Leonidas then heard what sounded like struggling as he crouched down before creeping towards the sound. Suddenly a black blur was thrown over his head and sent smashing into the tree. The tree broke in two and fell on top of the figure. Leonidas turned to the blur only to find that it was the remains of a disintegrating Beowolf. The dark creature let out a final dying whimper before fading completely. Leonidas turned to look in the direction of where the Beowolf was thrown from. Standing there was a large blue bear creature. It had yellow fur adorning its head and back. Its arms were scaly, they formed into spiked armor that led into long sharp claws. The Arzuros let out a roar of Victory before it started sniffing around.

Leonidas: Alright, here goes nothing.....

Leonidas stood up and positioned himself on the path so he had a clear shot to the clearing his fellow hunters were waiting for. Leonidas took a deep breath before unscrewing the cap on the honey jar before holding it up. The Arzuros began sniffing around until it turned to face Leonidas who was ready to bolt.

Leonidas: You want this? You'll have to catch me first!

Leonidas quickly turned on his heel and started running full sprint back to the clearing as the Arzuros let out a roar before thundering after the retreating Monster Hunter. Leonidas could hear the splintering and crashing of the trees behind him as the Arzuros was definitely hot on his heels. Leonidas could tell the heavy foot falls were getting closer, but he also saw the clearing through the trees. Leonidas doubled his effort as he charged towards the end of the tree line. Leonidas could hear the Arzuros's panting as he burst through the tree line and saw the pitfall trap.

Leonidas: Get ready!

Leonidas ran towards the pitfall trap before jumping over it and landing on the other side. Leonidas then turns to look at the charging Arzuros, who runs over the pitfall trap. The Arzuros's lower half fell into the pitfall trap as it desperately tried to claw itself out. Leonidas tosses the honey jar aside before drawing his Switch Axe in Axe Mode. Leonidas delivered a downward slash to the Arzuros's head. Leonidas quickly changed his grip on the handle before delivering a left swing, then a right swing. Leonidas kept rapidly swinging his Switch Axe back and forth, slashing at the Arzuros's torso and arms repeatedly. Eventually the Arzuros clawed itself out of the trap, shallow cuts decorating its body as it let out an enraged roar while raising its claws above its head.

Leonidas: Onur!

Onur then leaps out where he was hiding and starts twirling his glaive in the air and goes for a down strike on the Arzuros which makes him vault back and go for another strike.

Onur: Hiya!

Onur then completes a second strike on the back and lands near the rear of the Arzuros and he starts slashing at the rear causing the Arzuros to go on its hind legs.

Onur: Ruth you got a shot!

Ruth was seen at a higher vantage point and aimed her Heavy Bowgun at the Arzuros. Ruth lines up the crosshairs with the Arzuros's claws as she pulls the trigger. A large projectile is fired from the Bowgun as it flies towards the Arzuros. When the ammo impacts, it explodes into sharp blades that cut into the Arzuros, causing it to roar in pain. Ruth quickly takes aim again before firing another slicing ammo at the Arzuros's chest, causing more sharp blades to puncture its body. Ruth jumped down from the tree she was in to relocate, but the Arzuros spotted her before charging at her.

Ruth: Crud, I can use some help Xandra!

As the Arzuros charged it was smashed across the face by a metal bagpipe that played a musical note.

Xandra: Bad bear!

Xandra then delivered a downward strike to the Arzuros's head before kicking her Hunting Horn upwards, delivering a rising strike that caused the monster to stumble backwards slightly dazed. Xandra took the opportunity to swing her Hunting Horn behind her before she played a song that increased the strength of her and her teammates' muscle strength. Xandra delivers another strike to the Arzuros's head, dazing it and causing it to fall into its side while helplessly flailing around.

Ruth: Nice Xandra, okay guys it has fallen, keep on the assault!

Leonidas charged towards the downed Arzuros before switching his weapon to sword mode. Leonidas swung his sword down as energy crackled from the blade cutting deep into the Arzuros. Leonidas delivered a sweeping slash to the left, then a sweeping slash to the right before delivering a rising slash.

Onur: Allow me to help Leo!

Onur then started twirling his glaive striking the upper torso which he then kept twirling his glaive and his Kinsect was released and started biting the upper torso as well which then comes back to Onur and gives him a boost in his attack.

Onur: Xandra we need more songs!

Xandra delivers a right swing to the Arzuros's head before delivering two downward strikes. Xandra performed a wide sweeping swing that struck the Arzuros again and positioned her Hunting Horn behind her as she played another song. This one increased the resilience of the team's bodies, allowing them to take more damage. The Arzuros however regained its footing before letting out an enraged roar. It slashed Onur across the chest with its right claw before slashing Xandra away with its left claw.

Onur and Xandra: AAHHH!

Onur and Xandra fell down in pain but both got up quickly.

Onur: Stubborn one that beast is.

Xandra: Ow! That hurt!

Ruth: I got you guys.

Ruth loaded a different ammo into her Heavy Bowgun before firing three rounds into the Arzuros's chest. The ammo stuck to the Arzuros's chest and seemed to do nothing as it spread its arms wide before swinging them at Leonidas who blocked both claws with his Switch Axe still in sword mode as he wasn't even moved an inch.

Leonidas: Sorry, but I'm not budging!

The Arzuros roared before slashing Leonidas's shoulder, which definitely caused some bleeding underneath his armor. The ammo started to glow before exploding as both Leonidas and Arzuros were engulfed in smoke.

Onur: Leo! Xandra, come on!

The Arzuros then ran out of the smoke as it retreated back into the forest; droplets of blood from its wounds left a slight trail. The smoke cleared to reveal Leonidas, who was mostly fine aside from his shoulder wound and the unexpected explosion.

Onur then runs towards Leo to see if he is okay.

Onur: Leo you okay?

Leonidas: I'm fine, just a shoulder injury. You and Xandra got it worse, you two were sent flying. We should take this time to sharpen our weapons and heal ourselves.

Leonidas then pulls out a small vial of green liquid before opening the cap and drinking it. As the potion entered his system, Leonidas felt his body's natural healing process speed up as the bleeding on his shoulder started to clot. Leonidas let out a relieved sigh before pulling out a wet stone before he began sharpening his Switch Axe.

Leonidas: That's better. How are your injuries doing?

Onur: I am okay. I drank a potion when I got to you though I believe that Arzuros left a scar on my chest. Overall I am okay.

Xandra and Ruth then appeared before Leonidas and Onur.

Ruth: Hey, it seems both of you are okay.

Xandra: My side is going to have a nasty gash on it, but those potions really help! The Arzuros ran off pretty quickly, how much more fight do you think it has left?

Leonidas: It'll definitely put up a fight, but I think one more solid assault like that should hopefully put it down. Now before we go, I need all of you to do me a favor.

The other hunters then look at Leonidas wondering what the favor was.

Leonidas: Do not mention to my sister I used myself as bait to get the Arzuros into this trap we set. You do not want to know what she's like when she's mad!

The other hunters looked at Leonidas and all nodded.

Onur: Will do Leo their nothing scarier than a woman's wrath.

Ruth: You got that right ay Onur.

Ruth said that Onur just looks at her.

Onur: You were the one who didn't knock!

Xandra: We should get after it before it gets too far away.

The other hunters agreed and they all went searching for the injured Arzuros. As they followed the trail of blood they found the Arzuros eating some honey.

Onur: Even when its life is in danger it goes back to eating honey?

Leonidas: Well there are multiple records of Arzuros happily eating honey, completely oblivious to a large monster stalking towards it. All creatures have their habits, we could use this to our advantage. Onur, you still have both your traps right?

Onur nodded and pulled both traps out.

Onur: I have a pitfall and shock trap.

Leonidas: Sneak up behind the Arzuros and place the Shock Trap. Ruth, Xandra get into position.

Ruth and Xandra nodded which Onur then put back the pitfall trap back in his pouch and then snuck over to the Arzuros without it noticing him. Onur placed a metal disk on the ground before twisting the top, causing a circular field of crackling electricity. Ruth loaded more Sticky Ammo into her Heavy Bowgun, Xandra was standing to the side of the Arzuros with her Hunting Horn ready. Onur looked over at Leonidas who nodded. Onur tailed his Insect Glaive, sending out his Kinsect. The Kinsect bit the Arzuros back as it collected an orange essence that it gave to Onur, which increases his resilience. Onur then turns to the others who nodded their heads.

Onur: Okay....NOW!

Xandra swung her Hunting Horn, slamming it into the Arzuros's face causing it to stumble backwards in pain. The Arzuros stepped on the Shock trap as its body violently twitched as it was unable to move. Ruth fired 3 sticky Ammo into the Arzuros's side as they started to brightly glow before blowing up.

Onur then used his glaive to vault up into the air which he then twirls it and started slashing at the back of the Arzuros which he then vaults back up again and does a downward slash from its head to rear. Onur then lands on his feet and the Arzuros turns it's attention to him but unknown to the monster, Leonidas slashed it across the back with his Switch Axe in Axe mode. The Arzuros stumbled forward before shakily turning to face Leonidas. Leonidas could tell that the Arzuros was looking for a chance to escape, this was his chance. Leonidas switches his weapon to sword mode.

Leonidas: You're only getting out of here if you get through me!

The Arzuros roared before swinging both its claws at Leonidas. Leonidas crouched down in a ready stance before thrusting the blade of his Switch Axe into the Arzuros's chest. The Arzuros dug its claws into Leonidas's shoulder as the blade of the Switch Axe glowed red hot. An explosion of energy was released from the blade that left a nasty stab wound with scorched corners as the Arzuros let out one final pained roar before collapsing to the ground, dead. Leonidas sheathed his smoking Switch Axe before letting out a sigh of relief.

Leonidas: Team......Quest Complete!

The others smiled at their Leader and then all of them pulled out their carving knives and went over to the dead Arzuros and carved off some of the useful materials they were able to identify. Leonidas sheathed his carving knife before pulling out a flare gun before loading a blue pellet into it. Leonidas fired it into the air as a blue flare flew into the sky before exploding into blue smoke.

Leonidas: The Guild Knights should be here soon to help cart this back to Beacon. All things considered, I'd say that went about as well as a first big monster hunt could go.

Onur: Indeed, though it was a bit rough we managed and defeated the monster now let's head back to camp and get out of here.

Ruth: Amen to that.

The hunters then started heading back to camp to be picked up by the airship but little did they know the hunt was seen by everyone at Beacon Academy.

Back at Beacon Academy

At the academy, Ozpin and Glynda were seen looking at the footage of the Hunters hunt against the Arzuros that was being played in the academy.

Ozpin: This should certainly prove to the students that the Monster Hunters are more than capable at what they came here to do.

Glynda: It is shocking Ozpin they didn't use aura to combat that thing and yet they all managed to defeat that Monster. Ozpin they are truly something.

Ozpin then agreed as they continued to watch the recording.

Ozpin: Yes, we should simply be happy for their safe return. I'm sure they wish to rest after the battle they were just in.

Glynda: I will tell the kitchen to stay open as they also must be hungry.

With the Hunters

The hunters were seen at the dining hall eating their fill after their hunt.

Onur: I am so glad the hunt is over. After taking down that beast it sure gave me an appetite.

Xandra: I just wanna sleep once we're done here, I knew Master Plato said the real thing was tiring, but I didn't think it would be this bad!

Ruth was just stuffing her face and nodding.

Leonidas: We'll get used to it as we tackle more hunts, after all this is only step one. Let's shoot for Hunter Rank 2 from this moment forward!

The hunters nodded and raised the mugs and toasted one another and then drank but unknown to Leo who was drinking he suddenly felt a scary presence behind him.

Leonidas: Look if you're mad I didn't tell you I went out on a quest it went completely fine.

Pyrrha: Really, then explain this!

Leonidas then sees his sister scroll and sees a recording of him taking attacks from Arzuros plus getting blown up.

Leonidas: Where the hell did you get that?! We don't have cameras to record hunts!

Leonidas said shocked everyone then heard footsteps and turned to see it was Ozpin.

Ozpin: That would be my doing, the students were skeptical of your ability to teach them anything given your age. I thought if they saw their new Professor in action it would quash any doubts. That and these recordings will put active Huntsmen and Huntresses at ease knowing you 4 can handle these monsters.

The other hunters looked at Ozpin and understood but unfortunately for Leonidas he was now scared as his sister saw the events that transpired today and she looked at him with anger.

Pyrrha: Brother I believe we need to have a chat about how you handle things today.

Leonidas: Sis, please tell me you didn't send that recording to anyone. You can get mad at me all you want, but just please tell me that you didn't make this situation worse!

Pyrrha: Oh dear brother, I already sent the footage to our mother.

Leonidas: Ozpin, you're going to need to find a replacement for my position by next week, because I will be a dead man by then.

The other hunters looked at their leader and saw the terrified expression he had.

Onur: I have not seen him this scared before. Leo pull yourself together!

Onur tried to shake him out of his scared state but it did not help so Ruth went over to him and pinched his cheeks but it did not do anything as well.

Xandra: Your brother is the reason the hunt went so smoothly and you do this to him? Here he was all excited to be around you again. Now I really don't want to bump into my sister before we head to Atlas!

Ruth: Wow, he is that terrified. Leo, please keep it together. I mean your mom saw the video. What's the worst thing she could do when coming over here?

Leonidas stood up before stretching, he seemed back to normal, that is until he turned to Pyrrha.

Leonidas: Miss Nikos I will see you in class tomorrow. Try not to be late, all of you make sure to help with any of the Guild's efforts while I'm teaching. Another thing Miss Nikos........

Pyrrha: Yes, brother?

Leonidas: Refrain from referring to me as your brother while we are on school grounds. It might make the other students think I might give you special treatment.

Leonidas then turned and walked out of the cafeteria before another word could be spoken.

Xandra: He's mad at you.......

Onur: Yes, very mad.

Ruth: You really screwed up here kid.

Pyrrha: For what? Showing our mother what happened on his hunt?

Xandra: He wanted the first time he saw your mom again to be a happy moment, you practically threw that out the window. Who do you think she'll blow up on next after she's done with Leo?

Pyrrha then thought about it for a moment before realizing who.

Pyrrha: Our father.....

Onur: Exactly, Leo mentioned how bad the fight was, and with seeing her own son again after all these years from a video of him fighting a Monster the backlash will be terrible.

Pyrrha then looked shocked and also a bit ashamed as she hoped that their parents would reconcile but after sending the video that might not be possible.

Pyrrha: I thought it was the right decision at the time.

Xandra: We'll either try to catch up to Leo now or pull him aside after his class tomorrow and apologize. Maybe you 2 can come up with a way to make sure your mom doesn't lose it on Master Plato.

Pyrrha nodded and then went after her brother to try and make things right.

Onur: I am just going to say family can be hard.

Xandra: Your lucky Ruth, your sister is so understanding. If Harriet saw that video she'd probably yell at me. Well at least the Ace Operatives won't come here to Beacon.

Ruth: I was upfront with my sister. I always tried to stay in touch with her and hid nothing from her.

Xandra nodded while Onur sighed.

Onur: I envy you two. Compared to my family, yours are on better terms than mine.

Onur then remembers his sister and what happened the day he left his home.

Beacon Halls

Leonidas was seen walking down the halls of Beacon very angry after what happened in the cafeteria. Although he was in the process of calming himself down.

Leonidas: She was just worried about me, but now father is going to pay because of it! He wanted to at least try and talk with mom, now he'll just have to be on the receiving end of her anger.

Leonidas lets out a sigh as things didn't go as he hoped but then hears footsteps and turns to see his sister.

Pyrrha: Leo please wait, can we talk? I am sorry.

Leonidas: What is there to talk about Miss Nikos? You simply did what you thought was right, even if it was rash.

Pyrrha looks at her brother with pleading eyes.

Pyrrha: I am sorry for sending the video. I haven't seen you in years as well as mother. She missed you Leo. She still has regret about how things played out.

Leonidas wanted to stay firm about this, but then he saw the tears. Leonidas wordlessly opened his arms as a silent invitation to Pyrrha.

Leonidas: You really are a knucklehead, but you're lucky I love you too much to stay mad for long.

Pyrrha then hugs her brother who hugs her back.

Pyrrha: I just wanted mom to see you.

Leonidas: I know, I'm sorry I got mad. Now however we have to come up with a plan to make sure she doesn't kill dad. We can worry about that later however, I want to know is there anything I should be worried about when walking into class tomorrow?

Pyrrha: Probably the fact that everyone sees you and your friends forces of untold might and probably afraid of you that you might get mad at them if they anger you and do the same thing you did with that Monster.

Leonidas: The thought of scaring them is tempting, but I want them to have fun while learning about the creatures we hunt. So don't worry I have something fun planned for you guys.

Pyrrha smiled at her brother and couldn't wait to see her brother teaching.

Pyrrha: I look forward to Leo. Anyway it is getting late so I will be heading back to my team. Night Leo.

Leonidas: Night little spartan.

Pyrrha then gave one last hug before leaving the halls.

Leonidas: Hopefully these kids don't fall asleep on me.

Leonidas then heads back to his living quarters and smiles as he couldn't wait to teach.

KLigers98: Well that was one hell of a hunt. Though I feel bad for Leonidas, family drama is something I do not look forward to. Besides that I have to say things could have been worse but overall things calmed down. Now is there anything I miss?

Tojamaru: Life is full of challenges, whether it be Monster Hunting, or dealing with family issues. That however should not let someone become discouraged. Leonidas now has the task of teaching Beacon's students on how to survive the dangerous creatures from the Outer Reach. This should prove to be an interesting hurdle for him to clear.
