Valentine's day had risen in the Beacon. Lovers from all over have sent their love through little packages called cards, chocolates or even a rose and a kiss. Xaito on the other hand...was still new to all this. He studied the topic months in advance but, still was not sure what to do. Before he knew it, the deadline was upon him.

Xaito: "Shoot, what am I gonna do?"

Xaito wanders about Beacon with how to love on his mind.

Ruby: Xaito! Hey!"

Xaito doesn't hear her. Ruby runs to him and taps him on the shoulder.

Ruby: "Xaito! You there?!"

Xaito: "Oh yo. Sorry about that. I just caught up thinking.."

Ruby: "What? About love?"

Xaito blushes a little.

Xaito: "Y-yeah. You see, the laboratory didn't really teach me about it and well..."

Ruby: "You want to know the meaning of love"

Xaito: "In short yeah. I even have a date in mind so.."

Ruby: "Well I might not be an expert but, I can help"

Xaito: "You think so?"

Yang: "Of course we can!"

Xaito and Ruby look to the right to see teams RWBY and JNPR joining them.

Xaito: "You guys too?"

Ren: "Of course. Teammates help teammates right?"

Pyrrha: "And you help us out a lot.."

Blake: "So you can say it's our turn-"

Nora: "to return the favor!"

Xaito: "Wow. Thanks guys"

Weiss: "But first, we'll have to change up your dress"

Xaito: "Huh? What's wrong with my dressing style?"

Pyrrha: "It's a bit..."

Ruby: "Rowdy?"

Yang: "Rowdy looks good"

Blake: "Could use some dark colors"

Nora: "Nah. It needs lots of colors"

Ren: "Are you suggesting an explosion of color?"

Nora: "Yeah!"

Xaito: "Guys, I'm sure I look fine"

Ruby: "Shopping spree!"

The girls drag Xaito sprinting away leaving Pyrrha, Ren and Juane behind. 

Juane: "Um, that happened"

Ren: "I have a feeling it isn't gonna go so well"

Pyrrha: "I'm sure it's gonna be fine. Right?"

The boys shrug a "We don't know".

Ren: "Well luck to him"

Juane: "Xaito's gonna get destroyed isn't he"

Pyrrha and Ren nods in agreement. Xaito on the other hand, had fallen into quite the conundrum. The girls were bringing him from store to store trying to find the best outfit for him.

Weiss: "I think a clean white dress will fit him"

Nora: "No! It needs to be tye dyed"

Blake: "A subtle black suit won't hurt"

Yang: "I think he's more of a reckless type. He's got to show some skin"

They start to argue which style suited Xaito best.

Weiss: "No,no, and double no"

Ruby: "Guys.."

Nora: "He can't stay all monochromatic. He's more colorful than that"

Ruby: "Guys.."

Yang: "A rough houser has to show off his muscles"

Ruby: "Guys!!"

Everyone looks to Ruby.

Ruby: "Does anyone know where Xaito went?"

They look around to see that Xaito had run off somewhere. They begin to look around for him.A half hour later Sun drops by. He taps on Blake's shoulder with his tail.

Blake: "Huh?"

Blake looks to see who tapped her and was face to face with Sun.

Sun: "Ladies"

Blake: "Sun? What are you doing here?"

Sun: "What? I can't visit my favorite girl on Valentine's day?"

Blake jostles him as he brings her into a hug.

Ruby: "Hey Sun. Have you seen Xaito anywhere?"

Sun: "As a matter of a fact, yes. He's over there at the farmer's market buying vegetables."

He points to the market.

Yang: "Thanks Sun"

They head to the market.

Weiss: "Hey are you coming Blake?"

Blake: "You guys go on ahead. I'll catch up with you guys later."

Her eyes had a dreamy look to them as she looks at Sun.

Nora: "See you then"

Nora runs ahead and tackles Xaito to ground.

Nora: "Now you aren't going anywhere"

Xaito: "Fine,fine. Can I at least pay for the things I bought?"

Yang: "Come on Nora. Release the lover boy"

Yang picks Nora off Xaito.

Ruby: "What are the vegetables for?"

Xaito: "I kinda got hungry"

Xaito pops a cherry tomato into his mouth before handing the bag of groceries to a clone. It nods and heads off to beacon.

Weiss: "Let's just forget about the dress for now"

Yang: "Fine"

Ruby: "Ooh how about we get a gift'

Nora: "Great idea"

Yang: "So what your girlfriend like?"

Xaito: "Well, she quiet and I guess timid."

Yang: "So your that type huh?"

Yang headlocks him into a ruffles his hair.

Yang: "The quiet type lover. Ooh! This is gonna be good"

Xaito: "Ah come on. It took me all morning to fix my hair"

Ruby: "Come on Yang. Let him go"

Yang: "Fine"

Yang releases Xaito from the headlock as he tries to fix his hair.

Weiss: "This changes a lot though. Now we have to buy a subtle gift"

Yang: "Nah I'm sure she'd some hot lingerie"

Xaito blushes.

Ruby: "Yang! What the heck!"

Yang: "What? If I had a boyfriend I'd want him to gift me with something hot like that"

Xaito: "I-I don't think she would be that type"

Nora: "Then give her a plant"

Weiss: "For one I have to agree with Nora"

Nora: "Oh! Maybe a Venus fly-trap"

Weiss: "And I regret my decision"

Yang: "Mmm. Maybe some petunias"

Weiss: "Don't those put you to sleep? Go with a lily. It's beauty at it's best"

Nora: "No way! Fly-traps are way cooler. They eat bugs"

Ruby: "Guys.."

Yang: "Petunias don't put you to sleep. They are way better than a silly lily and easier to take care of than fly-traps"

Ruby: "Guys.."

Weiss: "Lilies are the easiest to take care of. Just give it fresh water and fish"

Ruby: "Um guys.."

Nora: "Fly-traps!"

Yang: "Petunias!"

Weiss: "Lily!"

Ruby: "Guys!!"

Weiss, Nora, Yang: "What!?"

Ruby: "Xaito..left again"

Weiss: "What! Again!"

Nora: "What is up with that boy?"

Yang: "Why didn't you stop him Ruby?"

Ruby: "Well..he kinda promised me fresh baked cookies and..he even crossed his heart the promise.."

Yang: "Oh Ruby"

Weiss: "He promised you cookies so you let him escape?"

Ruby: "Yeah..I couldn't resist"

Nora: "I would've done the same for a kiss"

The girls stare at Nora blankly for a minute.

Weiss: "So where did he go?"

Ruby: "Back to Beacon. He said he already has a gift in mind and was gonna prepare it"

Yang: "Well maybe all our arguing worked?"

Nora: "Only one way to see. Race you back to beacon."

Nora bolts off.

Ruby: "No fair! Wait up"

They all sprint after Nora back to Beacon. There they find Blake, Sun, Pyrrha, Ren and Juane all huddled at a window watching something. 

Weiss: "What are you guys doing?"

Everyone: "Shh"

They point to the scene playing by the fountain. Xaito had approached Velvet with a bouquet of some sort. 

Sun: "I wonder what they are saying"

A mind clone of Xaito appears.

X-Clone: "I can help with that"

Everyone jumps in surprise.

Juane: "Xaito? But your there so how.."

X-Clone: "I'm a mind clone. Long story short, I can tell you guys what they are saying."

He looks to the real Xaito and Velvet and narrates what they are saying.

Xaito: "Velvet. The first day we met was all by chance. I'm happy that we got to meet. Every since that day, a strange feeling started to well up in me"

Velvet: "Same here. You seemed like a special person. I was so happy when we first met"

Xaito: "I started to like you..like a lot. We've hung out a lot and shared the feeling. I even helped you out in your tough times. Now today I've learned what that feeling is and..I want to share it with you"

Xaito shows Velvet the bouquet as she gasps in amazement.

Xaito: "Velvet, will you be my valentine?"

Velvet: "Of course! But will you..be my boyfriend?"

Xaito: "If that's what it means to love even more..then yes I will."

Velvet brings Xaito into a hug and kisses his cheek. Velvet takes a rose from the bouquet and sniffs it.

Velvet: "Carrot?"

Xaito chuckles.

Xaito: "Yeah. Normally it's made with fruit so I thought I try it out with vegetables"

Velvet: "Your so sweet."

Velvet positions the carrot rose between them. They close the distance as they kiss biting a piece of the rose. Everyone watching had fallen back in surprise.
