A/n: Hey there everyone. Sorry for not updating in a while. I'll try to get an actual chapter up soon.

Scene: The group sees a rabbit faunus girl getting pick on by Cardin and his group. Xaito sees this and goes to help.

"Pardon fellows. If you do mind." Xaito leads Velvet away from them."Why are you helping her out? What is she your girlfriend?" one of the bullies jeer.

"Maybe she is....Maybe she isn't. I'd doubt you'd get one"

"Why you asshole!"

"Velvet cover your ears." Velvet does as asked and tucks in her ears. Cardin throws a punch at Xaito's head. Xaito switches to his speed Semblance and attaches his Aegis Shield to the back of his chest plate. Cardin punches the shield sending a loud bell-like ringing through out the lunch hall. Everyone covers their ears. A few seconds later Xaito grips his shield and stops the vibration. Xaito taps Velvet and she unfurls her ears. They head out to finish their lunch.

"Thanks again Xaito but, are you sure it's a good idea helping out faunus like me?"

"Let's just say ridicule won't bother me. I'm also different but, not like you. If that makes sense"

"No, i understand. You do the opposite of what people expect but, for a good cause."

"I guess you can call it that." As they eat their lunch Velvet remembers what Xaito had said in the lunch room.

^^^"What is she? Your girlfriend?"

"Maybe she is...Maybe she isn't"^^^

"Um Xaito?"

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Never mind, it's nothing"
