A/n: This chapter is dedicated to Sapphire Azure. She has an amazing Oc by the name Sapphire Rose and i thought it would be interesting for Xaito to meet her. Also this is based off her first story (Eyes of a  Hunter, Heart of a Warrior) not the new one (Rules of Nature).

                                                              Xaito POV

It pains me to visit this place again...

"The laboratory where I was made..." I shudder. Man I can't even think of it without getting goose bumps. After JNPR, RWBY and I destroyed the place and defeated the Boss, I'd usually visit from time to time and see what else could've been used or still survived. The bits of metal that stuck out can be used for weapons, the books were filled with unbreakable codes and many other things that were odd and out of place for a normal society. I walk through the rubble when a glint catches my eye. I head to it and find a sort of ring-like machine. I use my Magnetism Semblance to move the rubble away. The ring was partially damaged. Some of it's parts were broken and it looked inoperable. "Hmm." I place a hand on the machine. It begins to whir and shake as it returns to life. "What the-" I jump behind some rubble as the machine sparks violently. Bright lights flash and flare as a something seemed to form from the machine. I try to peek from the rubble and see a portal form. A figure seemed to walk through the portal, a teen girl. I cover my eyes with my arm as a white light blinds my view. A moment later the light fades away. I was able to get a better view of the new visitor.

The girl seemed to be around my age. Her skin was a pale color compared to mine. She wore dark blue clothing; sapphire blue; her hair a similar shade. Her weapon of choice seemed to be dual katanas outfitted with single barrel shotgun pistols. What really interested me was her eyes. She had vertical pupils and it was a deep crimson red, as if a dragon's soul lived in them. I try to take a step closer but accidentally step on a twig. Our eyes meet as we stare each other down. Her crimson eyes begin to slit and turn yellow. I slowly take a step back and switch to my speed semblance. I make a run for it. There was no way I was gonna stick around after seeing what just happened.

"Hold it right there!" I look to my right and the girl was by side. I jump away and try to look for her. "I said stop!" She yells grabbing my shoulder from behind. I yelp in fear and ready in an attack position. Splitting my shield I face her. I look around my surroundings and notice something. I was still near the portal area. In fact- I haven't moved a foot from my original jolting point!

"H-how are you doing this?"

"I'll ask the questions first. Where in the world am I?"

"Heh. Fine, Your are in a destroyed laboratory. One of the machines here seemed to have brought you here. Oh you don't know my name" I bow in apology. "Xaito Ganger at you service." I shake her hand furiously while duplicating her Semblance at the same time. "Now may I ask who you are?"

"Me? That is none of your beeswax"

"Nenofyur Beswix Interesting name" I tease. In a blink of my eyes she had her katanas to my neck.

"Quit the tricks and tell me what is going on here." Her eyes were yellow again. I guess they turn so when she is angered.

"Hee hee. What tricks? Your the one with the swords. Oh! Are you a sword thrower? Or maybe juggler? No,no those don't fit." I snap my fingers when a new idea dropped in. "I got it your a-" The blue haired girl quickly beheads me with her katanas. "A huntress-urk."

                                            Safia's POV

I watch the green head fall of it's body and utter it's last words.

"A huntress-urk"

"Dammit. Acted irrationally again. Uncle Ozpin might get angry again"

"Ozpin? The Ozpin?" I turn around to see the green boy was alright. I fire a few shots at him in fear. He falls down possibly dead.

"Jeez, trigger happy much?" I look to my right and see another one of him. This one had an Indian descent skin tone though. I aim my pistols at him.

"Wh-what the hell are you?"

"Well luckily for you Miss Beswix those were mind clones. Clones that only you can see and others can't"

"So....I didn't kill anybody?"

"Yes, you didn't kill anybody." I freeze him in time and position my Kagidzume to his neck. I unfreeze him.

"Now tell me who or what you are"

"Gladly but, only if you return the favor?"

"Fine"

"Very well. I am as said Xaito Ganger. I have the Semblance Mind Clone. I can bug people and make them see these mind clones. They can even relay information to other clones. It's quite useful to transfer information from certain distances. I bugged you when we first met just in case a certain incident happens." I sweat drop at his words. A certain incident? So he had an idea that this may happen. "And you are?"

"Sapphire Rose. Time Semblance. I'm able to manipulate time- freeze it in place, slow it down, speed it up etc. I also have the ability to transform into a raven"

"I see, that's how you are able to move place to place in a blink of an eye"

"Yes, now tell me where exactly I am"

"Where else? In Vale of course." Vale? This doesn't look like Vale. He has to be lying.

"I told you tell me the truth" I yell in anger. I move Kagidzume to his neck.

"I-it's the truth! I-i'm not lying" he whimpers in fear. This must be the real body.

"Hmph fine." I pull Kagidzune away as he touches his neck to make sure it was still there.

"Thank you Sapphire"

"Please, call me Safia"

"Well thank you Safia. By the way, are you any chance related to Ruby Rose?"

"Yes! Do you know of me then?"

"Uh..nope." My anger wells up again. "Well..I may not know you but, maybe Ruby does. If you trust me I can bring you to her in Beacon"

"Well I don't know anyone else so I will have to put my trust in you." I follow Xaito back to Beacon. We talk as we walked there. Xaito lives with his foster mother until he wanted to explore the world as a hunter. He wields a shield called Aegis and uses it as his main weapon of choice. He isn't on any team and is considered Special X. The extra support added to any team. I tell him of how I learned my battling skills from my uncle Ozpin and how I was wandering when I found the abandoned factory we were in.

"So Ruby is your cousin? She never told us about having a cousin before"

"That's strange, she should know me since childhood." We reach Beacon's entrance. It's looks exactly how it always had been.

"Ruby and the rest of the gang should be coming in a minute"

"Xaaaaaiiiito!!" We look up to see Ruby running down the side of the building using her Speed Semblance to keep her touching the building. "Heeeeelp!!"

"This is a first" I tell myself. "Xaito, I'll use my-" I look at Xaito and notice parts of his hair had turned a shade blue like mine. His eyes were closed as he seemed to concentrate on something.

"Whaaaaa!" Ruby was running at Xaito unable to stop. They would crash in about five seconds. I cross my arms over my face and brace for impact. I couldn't stop her now. Three,two,one...no impact? I move my arms and see Ruby was frozen...like frozen in time.

"H-how?"

"I'll explain later." He walks over to Ruby and picks her up off the ground. "Safia can you unfreeze Ruby for me?"

"But why? You'll get thrown back with her"

"I got a plan. Just unfreeze us please." I nod and focus my aura on unfreezing Ruby. Immediately Xaito got thrown back from the remaining velocity. He plants his feet into the ground. They were for some reason, slowing down. Xaito continued to skid for about ten seconds until they came to a full stop.

"Phew. Thanks Xaito" Ruby says as Xaito places her back to her feet. I run to them.

"Care to explain what that was all about?"

"OhXaitocloneasksmetomeetrealhimrantoofastcouldn'tstopXaitohlepsinstoppingme,meslowingdown and you are?" I gave Ruby a confused look. She would always talk so much in such little time it wouldn't make much sense at times.

A/n: Translation- Oh Xaito clone asks me to meet real him. Ran too fast. Couldn't stop. Xaito helps in stopping me, me slowing down and you are?

"Heh, Ruby slow down. Safia this is Ruby. You seem to know her?" Xaito explains for me.

"Yes. Um Ruby do you know me?" I ask. Ruby looks at me before zipping around investigating me at every angle.

"Um, no I don't know you sorry. Should I?"

"Yes! I'm Sapphire Rose. Your cousin!" I begin to shake Ruby. "Why don't you remember me?" I feel a hand on my shoulder. It was Yang. The rest of the gang were also here. Both Team RWBY and JPNR.

"Hey, um Xaito. Care to explain who your friend is?" Yang asks.

"This is Safia. Full name Sapphire...Rose. She claims to know you guys?" Everyone begins to murmur to each other in confusion. I focus my aura before freezing the groups in time. I begin to run. I ran and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I used my semblance to blink away. I didn't want anyone to see where I was going.

"How..how did they not know me? I'm their best friend! I'm even Ruby's cousin. How does she not know me?" I ended up back at the laboratory. The place all of this had begun.

"Wow. He was right. You would be here." I turn around to see a green colored version of Xaito.

"You again. The...Mind clone thing"

"Yep. You were still bugged when we met" it explains. He leans against a piece of rubble.

"So what are you gonna do to me?" I ask.

"Nothing really. You didn't do any real harm"

"I'm just so lost. Where in Dust City am I? Why doesn't Ruby and the gang not know who I am?" I cry out in anger.

"Maybe I can explain it"

"How?"

"First I have to admit something. I don't have a mind clone Semblance" Xaito admits. "I'm a clone with a man-made Semblance called Doppelganger. I'm able to duplicate other Semblances just by giving them a handshake"

"So that's how you were able to use my Time semblance"

"Yes, I also gain the knowledge of how to used them, their side effects and secondary powers. Like the one to memory travel"

"Psychomettry?"

"Yeah that. Oh my real self is here. He'll explain the rest." The mind clone fades away as the real Xaito walks into view.

"Yo.."

"So tell me. What does psychometry have to do with me?"

"You feel lost in the world your in now. I was once the same"

"What do you mean?"

"Take off your gloves and take my hands." I was hesitant. I hated using it. The tragedies that may be hidden in an object or person was sometimes too much for me to face. I needed answers, to why all of this was happening though. I slowly take off my gloves and take Xaito's hands. His memories begin to flash before me. 

Xaito's life began in the laboratory as a specimen in a test tube. One among millions had successfully bonded with the new Semblance they had created. From then, he was to be a powerful weapon, more powerful than any semblance or machine. He had met many other types of hunters and huntresses. He duplicated their Semblances and even challenged them to small trials. There was one more test needed to be done before he was to be the ultimate weapon. The Boss, a large man with enormous strength and power wanted him to activate all the Semblances he had all at once. Xaito had learned earlier that the previous successor had disintegrated from trying to activate all the Semblances. "Her body was so badly damaged the it turned to ash" was what a masked scientist had said. Xaito had fought back the idea. He knew the dangers of using and was willing to die trying. For his actions he was punished for it. Tortured to limits beyond of normal people. A few nights later a woman ;most likely his genetic mother; had helped him break out..at the cost of her life. She was killed in the escape but, Xaito didn't know this until years later. When he escaped he didn't know where to go or where to be. That was until his foster mother found him and took care of him. She helped him learn about the world and eventually led him to the path of becoming a hunter. The memories stop appearing as I felt Xaito's hand move from mine.

"So you see. I was kinda like you. I never knew what was around me in the world. That was until someone helped lead the way." I felt a tear well up in my eye. Xaito was like me now. Lost and confused in a world unknown. All I needed was someone to be at my side and guide me through it. I move forward to give Xaito a hug when he stops me.

"Your hands" he says pointing to my glove-less hands. "I learned that the hard way. Heh heh"

"Oh right. Thanks." I slip on my leather gloves before giving him that hug.

"And what's this for?"  

"For accidentally chopping your head off before." Xaito laughs as i release him from the hug.

"Man, only if we could get this machine to work again. Then you could return home." He kicks a ring shaped machine, more likely the machine that brought me here. It immediately begins to spark and flare.

"What the-" I almost curse. Xaito pulls me behind a piece of rubble for cover as the machine sparks violently. A portal opens up from the machine.

"It works?" Xaito says with his jaw dropping, I push it closed and carefully walk from the rubble. 

"This was the same thing i saw in my world. This portal opened up and when i stepped through i was here"

"Maybe this is the portal to your home?"

"How are you sure?" A figure peeks from the portal.

"Safia?"

"R-Ruby?!" Ruby was peeking from the portal. "Wait, you know me?"

"Wha-what are you talking about? Of course i do. Your my sister, well more of a cousin but, you know." This was my Ruby for sure. "Well where are we? What are you doing here?"

"Long story, I'll tell you later. let's go home." I turn to face Xaito. "Thanks for everything Xaito"

"Happy to help"

"Will we meet again?"

"We may. You don't need to worry though. We'll see each other soon." I give him a confused look but shook it off. I enter the portal. A white light blurs my vision.

"Saafia" a voice calls for me. "Saafiaa! Waake up." My eyes flutter open.

"Mom?" I ask in my drowsiness. 

"Not quite." I wipe my eyes of sleep as my vision clears up. Ruby was beside me.

"Ruby? Dust, how long was i out for?"

"For and hour...maybe. From the tan on your skin, maybe more"

"What?!!" Ruby giggles.

"Don't worry. Your fine." I growl in anger but quickly remember Xaito. "Ruby, do you know someone by the name of Xaito?"

"Zai..toe?"

"Yeah, it's spelled with an X though"

"No, never heard of it." I rub my forehead in confusion. 

"Never mind. I guess i dreamed the name up"

"Must have been a good one. Now come one, everyone's waiting at Beacon" Ruby says pulling me up by the arm. 

"Fine, fine." I get up and follow Ruby back to the academy.

"Nenofyur Beswix" a voice says aloud. I look around for the source. "I might keep that nickname for you" a familiar voice teases. I look ahead and see a green figure. A mind clone of Xaito, standing by my side. I grin brightly. Xaito was one full of surprises. 

A/n: So this is the end of Safia's journey to Xaito's world. I hope you enjoyed. I had fun helping out. The use of Safia's Time Semblance really made some...interesting scenarios.
