A/n: Gah!!! I couldn't wait!! So here's a three day early update

The girl watches as the storm rages on outside the cave. She rubs her hands to warm them.

"No matter how cold it is, the fire in my heart, shall keep me warm." She looks over to the boy. He was still unconscious even after she thawed his heart out. "Hmm." She places her hands on his chest and presses lightly. The frozen ice begins to melt bringing back warmth to his lungs. The boys coughs before slowly opening his eyes.

"Where..where am I? This isn't the laboratory" he asks in a daze.

"Your fine now. Those people won't bother you anymore" the girl responds.

"What do you mean? Who are you?" the boys asks sitting up.

"My name is Cinder Falls. Let's just say I'll be your leader to a new revolution" Cinder explains. "You are?"

"My name is...Xaito" he says answering the question.

"You don't have a last name?"

"I was never given one. I was always known as Xaito"

"Hmm. How about Kori?"

"Ice?" he asks in confusion.

"Yes. I met you in the blizzard, frozen in ice. It seems fitting"

"Xaito Kori" he repeats the name aloud. "Then Kori should be my first name, it is better to live in the now than the past. "

"Interesting." The two remain in silence. The storm continues to blow about sometimes sending a gust of cold air into the cave. Kori shivers when a gust hits him.

"You must be cold. Come sit here with me" Cinder suggests. Kori was hesitant. Cinder was still a stranger to him. Even if she did save him. "I won't bite" Cinder teases. Another gust of wind entering the cave forces Kori to move closer. Cinder wraps an arm around his neck, stroking heat into his cheek. She was so warm against Kori's frozen body.

"How...how are you not cold?" Kori asks.

"Do you know what Semblances are?"

"Yes, they are sort of enhanced powers that only a few can get. These people usually become hunters"

"Right. So my semblance is to control fire as such." Cinder flicks her wrist as a spout of flames appears from her palm. Cinder extinguished the flame as they sit in silence once more.

"I guess I should've ask this earlier.." Kori begins. "Why do you need me?"

"Why shouldn't I? We both have similar goals and I'm here to help you achieve it"

"How do you know we have similar goals? Maybe I'm just a random person who got lost in the snow"

"That true now? I doubt anyone could survive this cold with such little clothing" Cinder says pointing to the scrubs Kori was wearing.

"Mental training" Kori lies. "That's how I was able to withstand the cold." Cinder raises an eyebrow in amusement.

"Oh really? That's the first I've heard of it." Kori stays silent. "I know your a clone."

'Silence.

"I'm not wrong. Am I?" Kori stays silent. Cinder's eyes flare up as she scalds Kori's cheek.

"Ouch! What the heck?" Kori says jumping aside.

"Have no one taught you manners? Answer me. When a question is asked you must answer to it"

"Jeez fine. Your right. I'm a clone"

"Thought so"

"So what now? Your gonna torture me with your flames or something?"

"As I said before. We have a similar goal to achieve. I can't do it alone so I will need your help in doing it"

"So you went all the way out here. How did you even know a laboratory existed out here?"

"I had some information leaked"

"And what if it was wrong?"

"My information broker is never wrong" Cinder says flaring her eyes to show she was not joking. Kori nods to show he was understanding. "Now you are in a cooperating mood, do you mind telling me what your semblance is?"

"I've been told it's a man-made Semblance called Doppelganger. I'm able to duplicate Semblances"

"Interesting. I made the right choice bringing you along"

"So what now?"

"Now, we wait. Once the storm has passed we will head out. I have some others I'd like for us to meet"

"Hmm" Kori hums. He places a hand onto his cheek and flinches when he accidentally touches his burn.

"Let that be warning to never double-cross me" Cinder says apologetically.

"Like hell I'll try to. I'm just going to get some ice for it." Kori steps out of the cave and scoops up some snow to soothe the burn. The blizzard had lightened into a calm snow fall. "Is this the best choice? She did come all this way to find me. We have the same goal too...what does that mean? Whatever it may be, it's better than freezing to death" Kori thinks to himself

"The snow is quite calming" Cinder says standing beside Kori.

"It is, isn't it?"

"I hate it"

"Huh?"

"I hate the calmness. It is only the slow wait of the inevitable demise"

"Hmm" Kori hums. "Then what do you like? The insanity and carnage of destruction?"

"Not quite. We are too vulnerable when we are calm. Dangers will strike at any moment and we are blinded. When we feel protected, it's all an illusion. A lie we face to give us confidence"

"So what do you plan to do?"

"I need a team. I need to get more powerful. When the time is right everyone will see why this world is more corrupt than it seems." Kori couldn't help but grin. He wanted the world to see the corrupt doings of the laboratory. He wanted them to see the tortuous doing they have hidden in their walls. This was how he would be able to achieve it.
