Yay-wait what?
"By the way. I got good news and...maybe news." Anthony said, getting everyone's attention. "Good news is, that 'government stuff' I said. It was a meeting with the President that David, and I requested. And thanks to the President's approval. He made you all legal US citizens!"
The room erupted into a mix of shock and joy. Ruby and Nora, in particular, seemed ecstatic, jumping up and down in excitement. The news meant a lot to all of them, as it provided a sense of belonging and security in their new world.
Winter was pleasantly surprised. "That's incredible news, Anthony. We're genuinely grateful for your help."
Ironwood nodded, a sense of relief in his eyes. "It'll make things much smoother."
Ozpin smiled warmly. "You've done a great service for all of us."
Watts, while not one to show much emotion, acknowledged, "It simplifies our situation significantly."
Salem, with a hint of a smirk, added, "It seems we've finally found a way to integrate into this world properly."
Nora was practically bouncing with glee. "This is amazing!"
Weiss wore a wide smile, her eyes shining with happiness. "I can't believe it. Thank you, Anthony."
Yang clapped him on the back. "You're the best, man!"
Jaune nodded in amazement. "I never thought I'd see the day."
Oscar, still processing the news, finally managed to speak. "This is incredible. Thank you, Anthony."
Anthony nodded. "You have all the rights and responsibilities of U.S. citizens now."
Cinder looked pleased but reserved. "That's certainly a significant development."
Emerald was visibly relieved. "No more worrying about our status."
Kali, too, was delighted. "Thank you, Anthony. This means a lot to us."
Coco cheered and pumped her fist in the air. "Yes! USA! USA!"
Pyrrha was equally thrilled. "This is such a wonderful opportunity for all of us."
Ruby, unable to contain her excitement, hugged Anthony tightly. "This is amazing! Thank you so much!"
Nora, equally enthusiastic, joined in the hug. "You're the best, Anthony!"
Anthony chuckled, patting their backs. "You're welcome, kiddos. I'm just glad I could help."
It was a moment of celebration, a turning point for the group from Remnant as they embraced their new status as legal citizens of the United States.
Winter couldn't help but ask, "What about Sienna Khan? Is she included?"
Anthony nodded. "Yes, she's included as well. She wanted to be part of this."
The atmosphere in the room was one of elation and gratitude. The Remnant group had faced countless challenges since arriving in this new world, and this was a significant milestone in their journey.
Blake spoke up, her voice filled with emotion. "Thank you, Anthony. This means more to us than you can imagine."
Summer, Willow, and Kali expressed their appreciation as well, their eyes glistening with unshed tears.
Anthony waved off their thanks. "It's the least I could do for all of you. Welcome to the United States of America."
As the excitement settled, Ruby couldn't help but add with a grin, "So, does this mean we get to celebrate with some pancakes?"
Nora cheered once again, "Yes! Pancake party!"
Anthony laughed. "Pancakes it is! I'll whip up a big batch."
"So, what's the 'maybe news'?" Qrow said as Anthony pulled out his work laptop and had a deadpan expression.
"You all were already found out via satellite imagery. Don't ask what satellites are, yet. Just know that a CIA Agent I know hacked in your scrolls, and the only ones that know about your presence on Earth is, David, the US President, that CIA Agent, the USMC General, and yours truly me." Anthony said as everyone slowly got a nervous look.
"You're serious, right?" Glynda and Harriet asked and Anthony nodded.
Anthony's deadpan expression didn't waver as he confirmed their fears. "Deadly serious. Your presence here was discovered, and the information is being kept within a very tight circle. As far as the public is concerned, you're simply new citizens."
The realization of their precarious situation began to sink in among the Remnant group. They had been trying to maintain a low profile since their arrival, and the thought of being discovered sent shivers down their spines.
Jaune glanced at the others, his voice laced with worry. "So, what does this mean for us? Are we in danger?"
Anthony shook his head reassuringly. "No, you're not in immediate danger. The President values the relationship we've established, and David and I made sure to stress your cooperation and good intentions. You're safe for now."
Ozpin, ever the calm and collected figure, inquired, "What about the rest of the world? How will they react if they find out?"
Anthony sighed, knowing that this was a concern. "That's something we'll need to be cautious about. If it gets out to other countries, it could complicate things. For now, it's best to lay low and avoid any unnecessary attention."
Salem, who had been silently observing the conversation, spoke up with a hint of curiosity. "What if someone decides to investigate further? What measures are in place to protect them?"
Anthony leaned forward, his gaze serious. "We have protocols in place to ensure your safety. David and I have contacts in high places, and we'll do everything we can to protect you. Just know that we're taking this very seriously, and your well-being is our top priority."
Despite the unease in the room, there was a sense of trust in Anthony's words. The Remnant group understood that they were in uncharted territory but believed in their newfound allies' determination to keep them safe.
Blake asked, her voice steady, "So, what's our next move?"
Anthony considered their options carefully. "For now, continue with your lives as citizens. Stay low, avoid attention, and follow the rules. I'll keep you updated on any developments, and if anything changes, we'll adapt accordingly."
The group nodded in agreement, their determination unwavering. They had faced challenges before and had always found a way to overcome them. With Anthony's support, they felt ready to face whatever lay ahead.
"Oh right, we also saw some photos you have saved on your laptop." Ruby said.
Anthony was confused at first. Then goes wide eye in shock.
"Please tell me, none of you went farther and Google searched yourselves?" Anthony said as everyone shook their head "no". But Blake and Winter didn't, which got everyone's attention.
Blake and Winter exchanged glances, realizing that their earlier curiosity might have led them further than they initially admitted. They knew they had ventured into Anthony's bookmarks and explored some of his online interests, but they hadn't mentioned their deeper exploration into his laptop.
Anthony arched an eyebrow, his expression curious. "Blake, Winter, is there something you're not telling me?"
Winter cleared her throat, her cheeks tinged with a slight blush. "Well, we may have looked at some of the bookmarks and checked out a particular website."
Blake nodded in agreement. "Yes, and we may have stumbled upon something... unexpected."
The room fell silent as everyone waited for them to elaborate, and Ruby couldn't contain her curiosity. "What did you find?"
Winter hesitated for a moment before finally explaining. "We found a folder labeled 'RWBY Fanfic,' and, well, we may have opened it."
Blake added, "Inside, there were various fanfiction stories related to RWBY. Some were quite... explicit."
Anthony's eyes widened in surprise, and he blinked a few times, processing their revelation. "Ah, I see. Well, I can't fault you for being curious. RWBY has a passionate fanbase, and fanfiction is a common way for fans to explore different scenarios and stories related to the series."
Despite the initial shock, Anthony couldn't help but chuckle at the situation. "I'll admit, I'm a fan of the show myself. And, well, fanfiction can be an interesting way to see how fans interpret the characters and the world of RWBY."
Winter and Blake exchanged relieved glances, glad that Anthony wasn't upset by their curiosity. Ruby couldn't help but giggle at the whole situation, breaking the tension in the room.
"So," Ruby said with a grin, "are you going to share your favorite fanfic with us, Anthony?"
Anthony chuckled and shook his head. "Some things are best kept private. But if you're ever interested, there are plenty of stories out there to explore."
The conversation shifted to lighter topics, and the group continued to chat and enjoy each other's company, relieved that the unexpected discovery hadn't caused any problems.
"So~" Raven said to Anthony with a hand on her hip and smug smirk on her face.
Taiyang, Summer, and Qrow saw this. And left the room silently. But watched it from the corner.
"So?" Anthony arched an eyebrow at her.
"Who's your favorite girl from RWBY~" Raven said catching all the women's attention as all eyes were on him.
"Neo." Anthony said as all the women had shocked faces. Minus one.
"WHAT?!" Raven, Willow, Coco, Cinder, Yang, and Salem yelled.
Raven couldn't believe her ears. "You've got to be kidding me. Neo? Out of all the characters in RWBY?"
Anthony shrugged, unperturbed by their reactions. "Hey, she's got style, and her semblance is pretty cool. Plus, she's a bit of a wildcard, which makes her interesting."
Cinder folded her arms, looking slightly irritated. "And here I thought you had better taste."
Yang chimed in, a playful smirk on her face. "Well, it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round."
Salem, who had remained quiet until now, couldn't resist a small smile. "I suppose it's a matter of personal preference. Neo does have her charm."
Raven sighed dramatically, shaking her head. "Well, I guess I can't argue with that. Everyone's entitled to their own favorites."
The room erupted into a mixture of laughter and playful banter, the tension from the earlier conversation about the fanfiction folder dissolving in the light-hearted exchange.
"Who's your second favorite?" Sun asked.
"Willow." Anthony said as Willow looked at him with a blush.
Anthony's second favorite character choice surprised some in the room, but Willow's blush and smile revealed her appreciation for the compliment.
"Wow, I didn't expect that," Sun remarked with a grin. "But Willow's a great character too. She's got a lot of depth."
Anthony nodded in agreement. "Exactly. She's a complex character with a lot of history and inner struggles. I find her intriguing."
Willow's smile widened, and she nodded her thanks. It was clear that Anthony's choice had made her day.
Roman chimes in, "And which woman from RWBY do you wanna 'you know what~'?" This made everyone blush red.
Minus Winter. She seen enough NSFW for the day. She doesn't want to think back to what she saw on Rule34.com.
While Raven, Willow, and Coco waited for Anthony's answer.
"Gly-wait a minute. I'm not telling you shit!" Anthony said to Roman as he nearly said Glynda.
This made Glynda blush a little.
While some of the women gave jealous looks.
The conversation shifted to lighter topics, allowing the tension to ease, and everyone continued enjoying the evening together.
The doorbell rings catching everyone off guard, but Anthony calms them down.
"Don't worry. That's probably the pizza I ordered." Anthony said as he headed to the front door.
Anthony opens the door, "Thanks for bringing in the-" Anthony stopped as he sees the short people outside and blanches, all color draining from his face.
Two were Japanese American women, in US Army clothes, their Right Brown Eye, and their Left Eye Was Burned By Acid Leaving the eye Moss Green, their Sharp Teeth, Short Height and Short black Hair. And one was Japanese woman, with Brown Eyes, Sharp Teeth, Black Hair, wearing a Traditional Japanese Hair Bun, a Japanese Kimono, Short Height and Eye Wrinkles.
They were Mina and Mako Takahashi. And their mother in the Kimono was Tomoe Takahashi.
"Hi cute, man~" Mina flirted at Anthony.
Anthony, perplexed, looks at them. He then looks behind him staring at the Remnant Group, where some are looking at him.
Comprehension dawns upon him. He then turns back to the Takahashis. Anthony shuts the door calmly, and locks it, seemingly unworried. He then turns back to the Remnant Group.
"Where's the pizza?" Summer said eating Oreos.
Velvet's ears twitched, "Is that your heartbeat?" She said as all eyes are on him.
"OH FUCK! THE PEOPLE AT THE DOOR IS MINA TAKAHASHI, HER LITTLE SISTER, AND HER MAMA!!!!!" Anthony screamed in panic.
This made everyone panic in fear too. Because they finally get to meet Mina. Anthony is showing fear.
"TAKAHASHI!? EVERY MOTHERFUCKER FOR THEMSELF!!!!!" Even Cinder and Salem yelled in panic.
"Who!? What!? Where!? Why!?" Summer, Ruby, Yang, and Kali shouted as they ran around in circles.
"Will the door hold?" Ozpin said as he looked nervous.
"IT'LL SLOW THEM DOWN!!!" Anthony said. But Tomoe easily kicks down the door off its hinges.
"Well...That was some bullshit." Raven said looking at the broken door.
Amid the chaos, Mina, Mako, and Tomoe Takahashi stood at the threshold of the shattered door, looking around at the bewildering scene before them. They seemed somewhat surprised by the frenzied reaction.
Mina, with a mischievous grin, quipped, "Well, this is certainly a warm welcome!"
Mako nudged her older sister, whispering, "Mina, maybe we should have introduced ourselves more gently?"
Tomoe, the matriarch of the Takahashi family, simply shook her head, as if accustomed to her daughters' antics.
As the initial shock of the situation began to wear off, Anthony stepped forward, trying to regain some semblance of control. He raised a hand in greeting and said, "Hey, everyone, these are the Takahashis. They're... associates. And friends. They're from, uh, a different circle."
The Remnant group, while still on edge, began to calm down as Anthony's reassurances sank in. Summer, Ruby, Yang, and Kali stopped running in circles, and the chaotic atmosphere gradually gave way to a more curious and cautious one.
Mina, now slightly less flirtatious but still grinning, waved at the Remnant group and introduced herself, "Hey there! I'm Mina, and these are my little sis Mako and our mom, Tomoe. Nice to meet you all!"
The room was filled with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty as the two worlds collided in an unexpected encounter. Anthony, ever the mediator, tried to steer the situation toward a more civil and welcoming tone.
"Also, why'd you break down my door, Tom-" Anthony was about to finish when Tomoe gives him a look that sent a shiver down everyone's spine.
Including Mina and Mako.
"I mean, Mrs. Takahashi." Anthony said sweating like crazy.
Tomoe raised an eyebrow at Anthony, her gaze unwavering. She then glanced at the shattered door, which was now lying in pieces on the floor. In a calm and measured tone, she said, "My apologies for the door. It seems I may have been a bit too hasty."
The tension in the room remained palpable as Tomoe assessed the situation. Mina and Mako exchanged a glance, clearly aware that their mother's actions had caught everyone off guard.
Anthony, not wanting to prolong the awkwardness, quickly added, "No worries, Mrs. Takahashi. I'm just glad you're all here. Please, have a seat."
He gestured toward the living area, where there were a few open spots on the couches and chairs. The Remnant group, still adjusting to the unexpected guests, made an effort to appear welcoming as they moved aside to make room.
Mina, Mako, and Tomoe cautiously entered the room and took their seats. Mina looked at Anthony, a hint of mischief still in her eyes, and asked, "So, you didn't tell them about us, huh?"
Anthony scratched his head, a sheepish grin on his face. "I, uh, wanted to keep it a surprise."
Mina chuckled, her flirtatious demeanor returning. "Well, surprise!"
As the group settled into an uneasy but curious truce, they began to exchange introductions and pleasantries, with Anthony taking the lead in bridging the gap between the two worlds. It was an unexpected and somewhat chaotic encounter, but it had the potential to lead to new alliances and friendships.
"Just a quick question. How strong are you three?" Harriet asked, but slowly started to regret it as Anthony had a nervous look and the Takahashi family smiled widely.
"Anthony-san, do you have your gun on you?" Tomoe asked sweetly, while Anthony hands her a Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm.
"Arigatō!" Tomoe thanked in Japanese as she proceeds to crush the pistol like paper. And toss what's left of what used to be a gun at Harriet who caught it.
Summer and Ruby, who were both weapon enthusiasts, saw what Tomoe did.
And both fainted.
The display of strength by Tomoe Takahashi left many in the room in awe. Harriet, who had asked the question, was now holding a crushed pistol in her hands, her eyes wide with disbelief.
Anthony, who had witnessed Tomoe's incredible strength many times before, chuckled nervously and said, "Sorry about that. I probably should have warned you."
Mina and Mako grinned mischievously, clearly enjoying the reactions they were getting. "We're a lot stronger than we look," Mina explained with a wink.
Winter, who had been observing the situation with her usual composure, raised an eyebrow. "Are you two... hunters?"
Mina shrugged. "Not officially, but we've had our fair share of adventures."
Anthony chimed in, "They've helped me out of some tough spots."
The Remnant group exchanged glances, processing this new information. Meeting Mina, Mako, and Tomoe Takahashi had brought even more unexpected elements into their already complex situation.
