The Takahashis
Mina, Mako, and Tomoe Takahashi took a seat at couch in the living room as Anthony to his laptop.
The first thing he saw was rule34.com open and quickly started closing tabs and deleting history as the Takahashis talked with the Remnant group.
The talk provided a chance for the two worlds to interact, and it was clear that both parties had questions for each other.
Tomoe Takahashi, the eldest of the group, took the lead in discussing their background. "We come from a family of martial artists," she explained. "Our training has made us exceptionally strong and skilled. We've used our abilities to help Anthony in various situations."
Mina added, "We've traveled to different parts of the world, taking on challenges and aiding those in need. We've encountered some unique experiences along the way."
Mako continued, "Anthony has been our friend and ally in these endeavors. We're always ready to lend a hand."
The Remnant group listened with interest, trying to process the new information. The Takahashis' background as martial artists and adventurers certainly added another layer of complexity to the situation.
Meanwhile, Anthony had managed to clear his browser history, avoiding any further embarrassment, and joined the conversation with a relieved sigh. It was time for the two worlds to bridge the gap and get to know each other better.
"You might as tell them about the Takahashi Clan as well." Anthony said as he headed to his mancave to change out of his USMC Service Uniform.
"Takahashi Clan?" Raven said with a raised eyebrow.
Tomoe just smiles at her, "Yes," she clears her throat as she begins explaining "The Takahashi Clan is known for producing formidable, petite. Or short people under 5ft. Japanese female warriors with a reputation for both our combat skills and... our unique personalities. We've been involved in various conflicts in a country called Japan and other countries including here. The United States, and we have a reputation for our combat prowess and dedication to our craft. Often operating in the shadows as special operatives and assassins. Our biggest fear is having our shark like sharp teeth smoothed out and losing our husbands via accidents."
"Or in other words, the Takahashi Clan is a clan of Japanese female warrior psychopaths." Mina and Mako added.
The Remnant group listened with rapt attention as the Takahashis explained their background and the reputation of the Takahashi Clan. The idea of petite Japanese warrior women with sharp teeth and unique personalities operating as special operatives and assassins was both intriguing and somewhat intimidating.
Blake couldn't help but be fascinated. "That's quite the legacy for your clan."
Mina grinned. "We take pride in our heritage."
Raven, who had quite the reputation herself, found the idea of a clan with a similar focus intriguing. "I can appreciate a group that values skill and dedication."
Winter, while intrigued, couldn't help but think of the potential alliance such skilled warriors could offer. "It's good to have allies who are as capable as you are."
Anthony, having returned from his mancave, chimed in. "The Takahashis have been invaluable allies in my missions and endeavors. Their combat skills are unparalleled, and their unique personalities make them unforgettable."
The conversation continued, with the Remnant group and the Takahashis sharing stories and insights. It was a unique opportunity for these two worlds to learn from each other and strengthen their bonds.
"Another thing is, I'm also the current head of the clan." Tomoe said, shocking Anthony as he just now hearing this. "I even found out there also surviving members of the clan too."
"There are more?" Salem and Ozpin questioned as the latter drank a cup of cocoa.
"That explains the reports I heard during the war." Anthony muttered but a few did hear what he said.
"Are the reports of them being awesome?!" Yang, Ruby, Nora, and Penny asked.
"I... would say half was awesome..."
Elm noticed how he answered that, "And the other half?"
"The other half is dragging them either out of the war or battlefield if one of them drop 1k+ of bodies." Anthony deadpans.
The Remnant group double takes at what Anthony just said.
The revelation about the Takahashi Clan's involvement in the war left the Remnant group in a state of surprise. The image of petite Japanese warrior women dragging bodies out of the battlefield left a mixture of shock and awe among them.
Yang couldn't help but be impressed. "That's... hardcore."
Ren nodded in agreement. "It certainly speaks to their dedication."
Oscar, who was still getting used to the idea of Earth's military, had to ask, "How does that even work? Dragging bodies, I mean."
Anthony decided to offer a bit of context. "It's a term we use for someone who takes on the most challenging tasks, often involving heavy casualties. The Takahashis are known for their bravery in such situations."
Glynda, always the educator, provided a bit more information. "It's a testament to their commitment to their fellow soldiers and their willingness to take on the most difficult and dangerous roles."
The conversation continued, with the Remnant group gaining a deeper understanding of the Takahashi Clan's role and reputation. They couldn't help but respect the dedication and skills these warriors brought to the table.
"You're saying they're that powerful?" Coco asked, her tone was a mix of amazement and concern.
Anthony nodded. "Absolutely. I've seen them in action, and it's nothing short of impressive."
Jaune, always eager to learn and improve, was intrigued. "Do they have any combat techniques or skills they could teach us?"
Tomoe, Mina, and Mako exchanged knowing glances. "We do have some unique combat techniques and skills passed down through our clan," Mina replied. "But they're not for the faint of heart."
Blake, who had a deep interest in learning from different sources, leaned forward. "We're not afraid of a little challenge."
Tomoe smiled, a glint of excitement in her eye. "Then, perhaps we can arrange some training sessions during your stay here."
The Remnant group nodded in agreement. The opportunity to learn from the formidable Takahashi Clan was one they didn't want to miss. The difference between the worlds of Remnant and Earth was growing stronger with each passing moment.
"I wouldn't recommend it." Anthony adding his two cents.
Cinder, knowing him for a month, knew that there's reason to believe him. But she was still curious, "Why not?"
Anthony looked at Cinder, "Because I seen some shit-" Anthony quickly ducks avoiding a kukri knife that was thrown by Tomoe.
Everyone looks back at Tomoe who is just drinking a cup of tea.
"Geez. He can't say shit-" Qrow couldn't finish as Tomoe threw a kunai near his head shutting him up.
Mina and Mako looking as if they are witnessing a crime scene. Answered the question everyone is probably thinking about.
"Never swear near our Mother."
"Noted," Anthony said and looks back Cinder finishing what he was saying before, "Reason is because I seen Mina ripped a guy's head off using her teeth. And I heard Mako hung someone with their own intestines."
The graphic descriptions of Mina and Mako's actions left the Remnant group in a state of shock and disbelief. They exchanged wide-eyed glances as they processed the gruesome imagery painted by Anthony's words.
Ruby, always the optimist, tried to lighten the mood. "Well, at least we know not to mess with them, right?"
Yang, who had her share of encounters with dangerous individuals, nodded vigorously. "Yeah, no kidding."
Meanwhile, Winter maintained her composure, clearly unphased by the gruesome descriptions. She found herself respecting the Takahashi Clan's dedication and fierceness.
As for Qrow, he wisely decided to keep any further comments to himself.
Nora, who often found herself fascinated by unusual tales of combat, chimed in. "But can you teach us to do that?"
Tomoe, Mina, and Mako exchanged a glance, and then Mina spoke. "Some skills are best left in the shadows, but we can certainly teach you techniques that will enhance your combat abilities and make you more formidable fighters."
Summer, as a mother, felt the need to add a word of caution. "Just remember, some skills are better left unused, even in the face of danger. We must always strive for a balance between strength and restraint."
The Remnant group nodded in agreement. They understood the importance of learning from the Takahashi Clan while also respecting the boundaries and ethics of their teachings.
Cinder, while still intrigued, couldn't help but wonder about the unseen depths of the Takahashi Clan. Their time on Earth was turning out to be an eye-opening experience in more ways than one.
"What about the Sane Clan?" Mako said as she drinks her tea.
"Who? Oh, that clan." Tomoe said, as many were intrigued to know that clan. Including Anthony. "Right. The Sane Clan is a Nigerian-Senegalese Clan that is known for producing formidable Nigerian or Senegalese warriors with a reputation for both their combat skills and their strong warrior spirit. They've been involved in various conflicts in Nigeria, Senegal, US, Canada, UK, Laos, and Brazil and have a reputation for their combat prowess, tall heights and dedication to their craft."
"Cool. Although we still haven't made or received any form of contact from Africa or any other nation/continent besides South America after the war and after that massive storm a year after the war was declared over. So, in other words they have to be either surviving members that moved to either Canada or the US? Or any of the extended family like their cousins or something." Anthony said knowing that most of Africa is either flooded or still under the effects of the chemical and nuclear attacks from the Third World War and the Great Calamity that lasted from February 2033 to May 2033.
Mina nodded in agreement with him, "True. And North America only had just rainstorms and high winds during the Great Calamity."
Weiss was a little puzzled, "Great Calamity?"
Anthony, Tomoe, Mina, and Mako exchanged glances, contemplating whether to delve into the topic of the Great Calamity. After a brief pause, Tomoe decided to provide an explanation.
"The Great Calamity was a series of natural disasters and environmental catastrophes that occurred in 2033," she began. "It was a time of widespread chaos, with regions around the world experiencing extreme weather conditions, earthquakes, flooding, and other catastrophic events. The exact cause of the Great Calamity remains a mystery, and it had a significant impact on many parts of the world."
The Remnant group absorbed the information, understanding the severity of such a global event. It was evident that the boundaries between their world and Earth were growing more complex and enigmatic by the day.
Summer, ever the compassionate one, offered her sympathies. "It must have been a challenging time for people everywhere."
Anthony nodded, his thoughts drifting to the memories of that tumultuous period. "It was a difficult and uncertain time, but it's in the past now. We should focus on the present and our current situation."
The Remnant group agreed, recognizing the importance of living in the moment and adapting to the new world they found themselves in. The merging of their two worlds continued to reveal surprising and intriguing facets with each passing day.
"But back on topic with the Sane Clan," Tomoe spoke changing the subject, "I found out that some members of that clan share a close tie with a family from the Caribbean Islands."
Now Mercury was intrigued, "What's the family's name?"
Tomoe looked at Anthony, "The Towsons." She said making everyone including Anthony double take at the fact that the man their living with is related to the Nigerian-Senegalese warrior clan.
Anthony nodded, acknowledging Tomoe's revelation. "Yes, my maternal family has ties to the Sane Clan. My mother's side of the family is of Senegalese and Nigerian descent, and they have a history of being associated with the Sane Clan. The Towson family has a rich heritage and a strong warrior spirit that has been passed down through the generations."
Coco, who had always been intrigued by stories of family legacies and warrior traditions, leaned forward. "So, you have connections to both the Takahashi and Sane Clans? That's quite impressive."
Mina, Mako, and Tomoe exchanged proud smiles with Anthony, and Mina chimed in. "It's a unique blend of heritages that has influenced Anthony's skills and experiences. He's been exposed to a wide range of combat styles and traditions, making him a formidable warrior in his own right."
The Remnant group was now discovering the multi-faceted background of the man they had come to know as Anthony. The merging of their two worlds continued to reveal intriguing connections and stories, making their time on Earth even more remarkable.
"And for the fact that I'm technically married to his younger brother, Christopher Towson." Mako said surprising everyone, "And gave birth to eight beautiful daughters~"
Now Anthony was surprised.
For two reasons,
1) He's now an uncle.
2) Mako giving birth to eight children.
"Holy money lovers..." Anthony muttered.
Summer, Ruby, Yang, and Raven were stunned by the news, their jaws dropping. "Eight daughters?" Yang exclaimed.
"That's a pretty big family," Ruby added, her eyes wide with amazement.
Raven's curiosity was piqued. "What are their names?"
Tomoe smiled as she replied. "Their names are Sakura, Yumi, Akari, Hana, Kaori, Sora, Mei, and Aya. They're energetic and spirited, just like their parents."
As the Remnant group absorbed this new information, they couldn't help but feel that their time on Earth had brought a series of surprises and revelations, deepening their connection with Anthony and the world they now found themselves in.
Coco chuckled, a teasing glint in her eye. "Anthony, you're full of surprises. You've got connections to two warrior clans and a big extended family. What's next?"
Anthony laughed, his heart warmed by the acceptance and curiosity of his newfound friends from Remnant. "Who knows? Life has a way of surprising us, and I'm glad to share these experiences with all of you."
After Tomoe finished her tea, she gets up from the couch and looks at some of the women. Mainly, Willow, Raven, Glynda, Harriet, Coco, Salem and Cinder. "How about I teach some of you how to make a Castella."
"Castella?" Willow and Salem said with a raised eyebrow.
"A Japanese traditional Sponge cake." Mina said as Willow and Salem nodded understandingly.
"I think I'll sit this one out." Raven said.
*HARD PUNCH*
But Tomoe punches Raven at her lower regions, "OW MY OVARIES!!"
"Anyone else wants to sit out~" Tomoe said with a threatening sweet smile to Willow, Glynda, Harriet, Coco, Salem and Cinder.
The women exchanged glances, realizing that refusing Tomoe's offer might not be the wisest course of action.
Coco chuckled nervously. "Guess I'll give it a try."
Salem, intrigued by the opportunity to learn something new, nodded. "I'm in."
Willow, curious about Japanese cuisine, decided to join as well. "I'll give it a shot."
Harriet, while not as enthusiastic, didn't want to be the odd one out. "Sure, count me in."
Glynda, despite her initial hesitation, was willing to try her hand at it. "I suppose it could be a valuable skill to learn."
Cinder, intrigued by the prospect of mastering a new skill, didn't want to miss the opportunity. "I'm in."
Tomoe smiled, satisfied with their responses. "Good. Follow me to the kitchen, and I'll show you how to make a delicious Castella."
As the group of women followed Tomoe into the kitchen, the Remnant group couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and curiosity about the culinary adventure that awaited them. Their time on Earth was turning out to be a journey filled with unexpected experiences, and they were eager to embrace each one.
"Just don't let Willow burn down my kitchen again." Anthony called out to Tomoe as she was dragging Raven.
"Again?"
"She set water on fire." Kali and Summer deadpans remembering a month ago.
"Wow..." Tomoe said speechless.
"That's nothing. I accidentally set a swimming pool on fire. That lead to a whole neighborhood going up in flames." Mina said.
"I forgot to tell y'all this. But during the war, David, my dad, a couple of Marines, and I set a whole city in flames with Russian loyalist soldiers. We call it the Burning of Saint Petersburg." Anthony said.
The room fell silent as the weight of Anthony's revelation sank in. It was a stark reminder of the intense and chaotic nature of war, as well as the sacrifices made by those who served.
Summer, who had a deep appreciation for her family's safety and well-being, spoke up. "I'm just grateful that you all made it out of that situation alive."
"War can push people to their limits, and in those moments, choices have to be made," Ozpin added, his tone carrying the weight of experience.
Coco nodded in agreement. "It's a testament to your strength and resilience."
Jaune, who had witnessed the horrors of war firsthand, understood the complexities involved. "Sometimes, survival requires difficult decisions."
Qrow, ever the brooding figure, raised his glass. "To those who made it out and those who didn't. May they all find peace."
The Remnant group joined in the solemn toast, acknowledging the sacrifices and challenges faced by those who had experienced the ravages of war.
Anthony appreciated the support from his new friends and the shared understanding that transcended their worlds. It was a moment of connection and shared experiences that bound them together in a way only those who had faced the chaos of conflict could understand.
"Thanks," Anthony said, his tone reflecting the gratitude he felt.
As the group continued their conversations, they couldn't help but wonder about the adventures and revelations that awaited them in this new and unfamiliar world. Earth was a place of surprises, both big and small, and they were eager to embrace each new experience as they continued their journey through this extraordinary realm.
