3rd Person POV, time 8:44 a.m

Ruby and Adam were traveling through the forest, to keep things from getting to boring they decided to start up a conversation.

Adam: So let me get this straight, in your world you fought monsters and a group called the White Fang?

Ruby: Hu huh.

Adam: Wow just wow.

Ruby: And the weird thing is, the leader has your name, well first name.

Adam: Oh my god that is weird!

Ruby: I know! If my team, well original team, then your name would be a touchy subject.

Adam: I can see that. By the way what was your other team like?

Ruby: Well there was my big sister Yang, Blake who was a Faunus and she was a cat Faunus, then finally there was Weiss who we called the Ice Queen.

Adam: So what we're they like?

Ruby: Yang was kinda like me but was a little over protective and sometimes suductive, Blake was shy and didn't really talk but she was pretty nice, Weiss was cold but sweet but she was very uptight and serious most of the time.

Adam: Must of been the team.

Ruby: And their weapons were really cool! Yang had gauntlets, Blake had this whip like thingy that was also a sword and a pistol, and Weiss mostly used a Rapier.

Adam: Oh that reminds me I named my weapon.

Ruby: You did, what did you name it!?

Adam: I named it Scarlet Night! (Author: Since you people didn't suggest name I had to come up with this on my own and naming things is not my cup of tea!)

Ruby: Niccceeee!

Adam chuckles and rubs his nape.

Ruby: So where are we heading?

Adam: Let me check where the waypoint is.

Adam pulls out a digital map and points to a location with a flashing blue dot.

Adam: See that flashing dot, that's where the way point is.

Ruby: Its so far away.

Adam: Yay as I can see it's a 8 hour walk, but we can make it there if we speed up.

Ruby: Alright lets go!

Ruby rushes straight ahead but quickly turns back and goes back to Adam.

Ruby: Uh where do we go again?

Adam: Oh boy.

Timeskip, 10:34 a.m

After some time of walking and talking Ruby and Adam find themselves in a tight situation.

Adam: Well this is-

Ruby: Unexpected.

Adam and Ruby were facing a giant gap or something like a canyon. They both almost fell into it when Ruby went on ahead.

Adam: Soooo, any idea of getting across?

Ruby: Well just one.

Adam: You mean-

Ruby pulls out Crescent Rose and takes some steps back.

Adam: Its a bad idea but I'm in.

Adam pulls out Scarlet Night (his new name for weapon) and goes next to Ruby.

Ruby: Wait what about your arm?

Adam: No pain no game! Wait before we do this, want to make a bet?

Ruby: Yay, I bet you 10 cookies!

Adam: Cookies!? Oh your definitely going down now! First one to make it to the other side wins!

Adam and Ruby rush towards the canyon and jump. Ruby uses Crescent Rose to hook a branch and launch off of it. Adam uses Scarlet Night to do the same thing but the spike at the bottom of the axe retracts and fires off a shotgun blast giving more momentum to go farther. Ruby copies his action and uses Crescent Rose to blast her way to another branch. Adam and Ruby get halfway through and both are determined to win. Thanks to the sturdy branches they are both ably to swing from branch to branch.

Adam: I'm going to get there first!

Ruby: Not if I have anything to say about it.

Both competitors get close to edge. Adam uses his trump card and fires a missile from the axe but goes to high.

Adam: Aw dammit.

Ruby makes it to the other side first and Adam face plants next to her.

Ruby: I win!

Adam: *gets up* Ugh that was a hard landing but GG! Look like I got to pay up later.

Timeskip, 11:00 a.m

It was 11:00 right now and Adam and Ruby were traversing throughout the forest. They were cutting through vines and all and giant leaves. They didn't know they were being stalked by a mysterious creature.

*monsters growl*

Ruby: What was that?!

Adam: I don't know but be on your guard!

The mysterious creature rushed along from bush to bush making the Huntress and the boy more and more cautious. It was behind them and it jumped out at them.

Adam: Ruby look out!

Adam pushes Ruby out the way and was slashed across the chest by the creature.

Ruby: Adam!

Adam: I'm alright, I can take a hit!

Creature: *loud roar*

Adam gets himself up and steadies himself while taking out Scarlet Night. Ruby readies Crescent Rose.

Ruby: What is that thing!?

Adam: Its a Flexior, never seen one of these things before, there like a super rare monster you would find in an RPG game!

Ruby: Well lets kill it!

Adam: No we have to run! Thing is to dangerous for us to handle, we need a team to take it down!

Flexior: *Roar*

The Flexior charges at Adam but he gets out the way. Said creature try's to use its tail but Adam dodges it by an inch.

Adam: Go go go go go!

Adam and Ruby start to run away from the Flexior and it starts to chase both of them.

Ruby: How much further until we get to that waypoint!?

Adam: Not much further!

Both of them keep running while the Flexior chases after them. Both of them almost trip over thing but are lucky enough just to barely miss any obstacle.

Adam: The waypoint is just up ahead!

Both of them see a clearing and sprint towards it only to find out that it's a cliff.

Adam: Oh you got to be kidding me! Next time I'll set the waypoint instead of John doing it!

Ruby: Seriously!?

Flrxior: *giant roar*

???(over speaker): Adam just jump!

Adam: What?!

???(over speaker): Just jump!

Ruby: What the-

Adam: No time!

Adam grabs Ruby's hand and jumps off the cliff.

Ruby: Aaaaadaaaaammmmmm!

Adam: Ahhhhhhhhh!

All of a sudden both of them start to glow then disappear from where they were falling.

Unknown location, 11:11

Adam and Ruby: Oof!

Both Adam and Ruby labs face first on the floor. I guy with some goggles on come towards them.

Guy with goggles: Adam can't believe you made it back. But one question, who is that?

Adam: This is going be really hard to explain.

(Alright since people didn't suggest any weapon names or a name for the cult I had to come up with them on my own.

Adam's Weapon: Scarlet Night

Cult group: Black Starlight
