Akai POV

"The Vytal Festival has begun!" I shout my tail wagging.

"Why are you so hype team RWBY's fight hasn't even begun!" Golden shouts hitting me on the back of the head.

"Golden and Akai stop." Rain growls throwing cotton candy at Golden.

I laugh at Golden and Rain dumps her popcorn on me shoving the bucket thing over my head. "This is really good popcorn." I say shaking the bucket off my head.

"This cotton candy is great," Golden smirks, "Sneak attack!" He shouts throwing cotton candy at her.

Rain catches it in her mouth and flicks Golden off. I chuckle at them leaving them behind for the coliseum. I take a seat waiting for team RWBY's fight to start. The sooner this ends the sooner I can leave for my mission. I smirk flashing my fangs feeling eyes on me. I look around giving up the search the feeling still not leaving. "Who's watching me?" I mumble.

"Who's watching you?" Golden asks sitting beside me.

Nervousness peaks through my happy demeanor briefly and I shake my head. "No one." I say trying to cheer back up. Maybe I shouldn't go on the mission someone's obviously watching me.

"You okay Akai?" Rain asks making me jump.

"Yeah I'm good." I lie looking up at Rain.

"In our next battle we have team HSRD containing Holden Mauer, Sade Ètoile, Reagan Blossom, and Duke Midnight from Beacon going against team JMPD who have been traded off to Mistral's Haven just weeks before the Vytal festival." Dr. Oobleck announces.

"Yes Mr. Oobleck-" Professor Port says before being cut off.

"Its Dr. Oobleck." Oobleck says pushing his glasses up on his nose.

"Right Dr. Oobleck team JMPD was apart of Beacon but was transferred, who do you think will come out on top, past Beacon students or ongoing Beacon students?" Professor Port asks.

"I don't know but HSRD as in there names sake are dangerous to presumably all when they want to be." Dr. Oobleck says.

"Start!" Port shouts.

I couldn't focus on the match even though it was epic. Team JMPD was transferred they can do that? I looked closely at Team JMPD and was starting to freak out. They're strong why would they be moved to Haven. Is something happing in Haven or is Ozpin making a huge mistake.

"Akai calm down you're going to bite a hole through your lip." Golden says.

"Umm guys I gotta go like now," I jump up from my seat, "If team RWBY asks say I think they did awesome and Yang you were boss." I say running off before they could question me. I was about ready to scream until I slammed into someone.

"Not even an apology little devil." A familiar voice says.

I looked up fear laced in my every movement. "Mercury... I killed you." I say taking a step back.

"Did you really?" Mercury asks smirking as he cracks his knuckles.

"That means-"

"Everyone's here and we've all seen you little devil let's just say we're not proud." Mercury says interrupting me.

I never give up on a fight but they're steps ahead of me I'm not ready. "Gomen'nasi. (Sorry)" I say bowing my head. Mercury landed a kick to my side making me yelp.

"Speak English." Mercury says before walking off nonchalantly.

"Kesshite. (Never)" I mumble making him turn around slowly.

"What was that Akuma?" Mercury says so cold I felt myself take another step back.

"Nani mo! (nothing)" I shout smirking.

"I'll deal with you later little devil." Mercury growls walking off.

"Ozpin anata wa mechakucha. (Ozpin you fucked up)" I say running back to Beacon.

I run through the door slamming them open. "Ozpin Goodwitch!" I shout holding a hand over my side the pain shooting through me. Glenda walks out and let's me use her as a crutch. We take the elevator and I notice three extra people in his room.

"Ms. Akuma how are you?" Ozpin asks.

I let go of Goodwitch and walk over to him masking my pain. "Cut the crap Ozpin there's an issue. I have a need to go on this mission but something is going to happen here! I'm honestly scared and I'm admitting it!" I shout slamming my fist down.

Ozpin sighs before speaking, " Honestly Akai I know you have a need to go on this mission but I'll call you when help is needed."

"Bullshit." I growl angrily my tail lighting on fire. Everyone in the room except Ozpin and Glenda jump.

"You're Niji's daughter." A girl who looks a lot like Weiss says.

I turn around my fangs engulfed in flames as I look at her. "Yeah so what?" I ask.

"You look just like him except for the hair color." She says.

"Are you lying to me?" I growl lowly.

"No she's not." A dude says taking out a flask.

"Meet Winter, Qrow, and Ironwood." Ozpin says.

"This is stupid Ozpin. I can't let my fear make choices for me but I can't choose which too do." I say annoyed.

"Go on the mission and stay as long as you want but when I call I want you to come back as fast as you can." Ozpin says.

"Please stay here Akuma. You sensed it why go against it?" Ironwood says.

"Please just stop, I'm going on the mission Ozpin as long as you're sure about me staying as long as I like." I say the fire slowly dying down. Ozpin nods his head and Ironwood sighs.

"Do you know all the details of your mission?" Qrow asks.

"Honestly no. All I know is its outside of Vale." I say.

"Should we tell her?" Goodwitch asks.

"If you're asking I shouldn't know." I say sighing.

"Well you can head to your mission now if you'd like there will be an airship outside and we will handle Rain and Golden." Ozpin says.

"Thank you Ozpin." I say walking out of his office and walking to my room. I grabbed my bright red backpack and put everything I needed inside of it. I put my headphones around my neck and strap Gōka to my back before putting my backpack over one shoulder. I smirk and walk out of Beacon getting onto the airship. "Maybe I should've asked about the mission." I mumble walking onto the airship.

Mercury POV

I made the little devil scared, I let the little devil stand up to me, I'm more alive than ever. "Red devil's gone." I say.

"Good job Mercury now we can continue our plan without hesitation." Cinder says smirking.
