Akai POV

Mercury and Emerald walk up to me as I polish my weapon.

Emerald says, "We need you to go on a mission."

"Why me I just went on a mission yesterday and almost got blown up. I may be fire retardent but I'm not bomb proof." I say looking up.

"Listen brat stop being lazy and go on the mission." Mercury says.

"I don't want to go on the damn mission!" I growl my fangs showing.

"Well, well, well. The little devil doesn't want to go on a mission. Would you rather me cut off your devil tail." Roman says yanking on my tail making me yelp.

"Nō Gomen'nasai Roman. (No sorry)" I say bowing.

He knees me in the gut making me spit out blood and land on the ground out of breath and in pain.

"Speak English not that garbled up crap." Roman says.

I groan before saying, "Hai, sir. (Yes.)

"You don't like to listen do you? Its simple just speak English. Got it!" Roman says kicking me making me cough up more blood.

"Yes Roman I understand." I say getting up.

"Also you're going on that mission today. You have to take out a few robots, steal some dust, and eliminate any person in your way. I'll send you the coordinates." He says walking away.

"Yes sir." I say looking over at a snickering Mercury and Emerald. I blow a bit of fire on her clothes making her combust in flames. I snicker as she runs around like a crazy person. Eventually Mercury puts it out but not with a drink with his urine. Emerald scowls then punches Mercury in the face.

"What I put the fire out." Mercury says.

She growls and walks away angrily. I start laughing so hard I can't breathe and Cinder steps in front of me. "Kon'nichiwa Cinder." I say smiling.

Cinder smacks me and says, "Speak English or I'll light you on fire until your insides melt."

"Right. I'm sorry. Do you have the coordinates for me?" I ask wrapping my tail around my waist. What's so bad about me speaking Japanese. I remember when I barely knew English and I got stabbed in the back with a lightning dust crystal by Roman. I won't forget that pain plus it left a scar.

"Yes I do. In fact its on one of the trains heading in from Atlas. Go now so you won't miss it. It'll be there in two days." Cinder says.

"Okay." I say running out of the door and heading to Atlas. I get there in the timeframe and wait for the train. About ten minutes later the train I need for the mission starts up. I jump to the top of the train as quietly as I can and run to the car. I slid in through the top and am greeted by four huge robots. I change Gōka back into the two assualt rifles and shoot at the robots eventually taking them out. I grab the few crates of dust and make it back to the top where I'm greeted by a human. He calls for others and he charges at me shooting bullets. I run towards him and shoot the bullet going straight through his head. His body collapses to the ground a puddle of blood beginning to form. I feel myself get want to puke yet cheer at the same time. I dipped my finger in his blood and licked it off. I smirk my fangs showing themselves. I go to jump off the train and three more people show up. I hesitantly shoot them and grab the crates of dust before jumping off. I run back to the base getting there in one day tops. They take the crates of dust from me and congratulate me. I respond back with a smile still in shock of what happened. I walk off to my quarters and sigh. Fuck, crap, damn it! How could they make me do that? How could I kill a human being, really four? Did I really enjoy that moment? Am I becoming a monster? How doped up on blood was I to only notice now? Too many damn questions. I look down at my shaky hands and and take a deep breath. Calm down I can just escape. Plus I'm not a monster, at least not yet. Yeah I'll leave and go umm somewhere. I lay my head in my hands. "Watashi dake o. (only me)" I mumble. A smile appears on my face making my fangs visable once again. Idea! I scream in my head. I pack up the few things I have and sneak out making sure my weapon Gōka is strapped to my back. I start to walk to the safest place I could think of right now. Beacon Academy. I'm gonna be the first thirteen year old huntress!
