A knock was heard on the door. York raised his head up, his brown hair falling on his eye because of his messy bed hair. The door slightly creaked and Carolina poked her head in.

Carolina's green eyes looked tired to York, and her red fiery hair was all over the place since it was out of her ponytail.

"York?" Carolina asked softly. York smiled at her.

"Yes?" York replied, concerned. Carolina had already stepped in the room, there was no way she could back out now.

"Can I sleep with you? Uh- I'm sorry that was a-" Carolina got cut off when York dragged her back to his bed gently. She was flushed in embarrassment but truth be told, York wanted her to be in his arms.

York wrapped his arms around Carolina's waist and kissed her forehead.

Before they closed their eyes, dreaming about each other, York whispered.

"Hey Lina?"

"Yes?" She replied back softly, a small smile on her lips.

"I love you." York said quietly. Carolina stiffened and a huge grin came on her face.

"I love you too York. I really do."
And with that, they turned around and slept peacefully, for the first time in Project Freelancer.
