.......Nivaan left her and stepped back a little to concentrate...

Actually we are going to take up a prestigious govt project..., this tym..., n this needs  few formalities to be cleared before....

The chairperson and his successor has to sign in some legal documents to continue the work..!!
I just came to know abt this procedure...!! Soo it's a little emergency...!!  I hope i didn't mind you...!!"
.........said prataap  and tried to know Nivaan's thoughts abt it...

" Noo.. grandpa...!! Y would i even mind..!!??
N i will start packing my bags...!!"
.........said Nivaan trying to sound unaffected....

" I had already mailed you the tickets...!!  It won't be difficult for you...!!n i will get back to you again...!!"
......said prataap and cut the call as he didnt want Nivaanto think on this again..

Nivaan then looked at lathika for once and hugged her  tightly..., as he didn't want to leave hwr at that moment....
He then closed his eyes still gripping her in his arms and said...,

"Lathika...!! (* a sec pause)

This is nt our day...!!
I have to leave to Canada this night...!!
It's an emergency...!! "
........Nivaan pulled back himself from  lathika and sat on the bed..,  placing his hand on his messed hair and adjusting it...

Lathika.., by now understood the situation and  kept her pallu on her shoulders again.., still leaning by the wall..

Nivaan then shifted his gaze on her again and seeing her faded expressions.., he came towards her....
He then tilted his head a little and pressed his lips...

" Grandpa.., had to sign in some contract.., and... "
........before he could continue.., his words were cut short by lathika.., as she placed a finger on his lips..

" how many days...???!! "
......she asked..., in a low tone.., and smiled at him effortlessly.
Nivaan didn't expected this from her... He then held her both hands and  went close to her...

"U know wat..!! ???
U r such a mysterious puzzle....!!

I felt that it's hard to make u understand the situation...!!

(* he smiled for once and  breathed heavily)

4 days..., lathika...!!
.
4 long days....!!! "
........he said and kissed her palms.., pulling her close to himself...

His soft tone.., made her feel sad all of a sudden.., bt still she managed to mantain her smile and said...,

"Nivaan sir...!!
  I will wait for you...!!  N i trust you...!!"
......she said and freed herself from him..

"N can i help you in packing your stuff...??!!"
.......she asked  looking into his eyes by making a puppy face...
Nivaan raised his eyebrows seeing her curious expressions and gestured her towards his closet room on the left corner beside the french windows...

"It's my pleasure to take ur help...!!"
....he said and  went towards the closet room and opened it for her...

Lathika's jaw dropped seeing the view inside the room...

The room is as big as Nivaan's cabin in SPH.., and  what's more appealing inside was that.., all the 4 sides of the room are spread vth custom wooden closets.., in which different types of clothes were arranged neatly..

Lathika stepped little forward inside that fully centralized air conditioned room.., and turned around to glance all the four closets trying to register its image in her brain...

Nivaan just leaned by the door and  enjoying  her  expressions.., by folding his hands...

It was lyk a huge collection of different brands of coats.., blazers.., shirts.., hoodies.., sweatshirts..,  ties, shoes...!!
What not...!!   For a second.., lathika felt that she was in a man's shop store...

" Nivaan sir...!!  (*&%&$#)
Are these all yours...??!!"
.......she finally asked after checking out his closet room for 5 long minutes...

Nivaan smiled at her and came towards her closing the door behind him...

" yes.., lathika...!!  All these stuff belongs to me..!!

.
And i dnt think you can help me in packing...!!
U just sit here and admire my collection..
I will do the packing thing...!!"
..........said Nivaan and made her sit on the slant chair there..

He then picked a travel suitcase from  the corner of the room and started packing his stuff.., in.an order.., after folding them neatly ...

Lathika wondered seeing Nivaan's way of packing his stuff.., vth such ease and fitting almost everything in the suitcase arranging them perfectly and in an ordered manner...

"Nivaan sir....!! You are really talented...!! I must agree that..."
..........lathika praised him.., watching his intrest and concentration in packing the stuff..

Nivaan.., then locked the suitcase and stared at her.., admiring eyes...

" lathika...!! This is how i am..
I lyk to excel in everything i do...!!

Even in seduction...!! "
........he winked at her parting his lips to form a smile...

After 15 minutes..., they finally came out of the bungalow and took a cab to the shimla airport..
Lathika wished to send off him and Nivaan couldn't deny her wish... soo he has to take her along vth him...

During the entire travel..., lathika held Nivaan's hand and gripped them tight and leaned on his shoulder trying to feel his proximity as much as possible...

That's when lathika glanced on the dark night road and then she suddenly asked the cab driver to stop the car for once...

Both the driver and Nivaan were taken aback by her sudden mention to halt the car..

" lathika...!! What is it..?? Is there any problem...??!!"
........Nivaan asked.., trying to look into her eyes...

"Nivaan sir..!! I just saw an idol of Shiv ji on the side of the road....!! I think it's a road side temple...!! 
.
.
Can we just go there..!!  .... pls...!!"
........lathika requested him to which Nivaan has to agree.., seeing her pleading expressions..

They both got down and walked a 10 feet  distance to that small road side temple.., spread by a huge tree.., with no one present around there at that moment...!!

Lathika bended over there  to  look at the idol of shiv ji and joined her both hands to pray..
All this while.., Nivaan stood lil far from her as he didnt had any faith in god...., and just respected her feelings..!!

She then saw  some jaggery placed in a leaf as a prashad for shiv ji and took a small piece from it..

" Nivaan sir..!! Y are u standing that far..!!
N  here it is..!! Take the prashad...!!"
........lathika went back to Nivaan and offered him the prashad vth a satisfied smile on her face..

" Nivaan sir..!! Take this...!! N u can't say no to prashad...!!"

" lathika...!!  I don't believe in god.., and pls dnt get offended...
I can't eat this...!!"
..........Nivaan very softly.., rejected her and touched her cheek to comfort her...

Lathika.., tried to understand his pain hidden in his words and didn't forced him...

They finally reached the airport after 1 hour  of travelling....
Though lathika tried her best to remain calm..., bt the noise in the airport.., although there were very few passengers at that hour, made her shiver  a little...
She occasionally wiped her sweat trying her best to hide her feelings from Nivaan who just walked towards the airport holding and taking her along vth him.., by gripping her hand tightly..

It took another half an hour to carry out the further check in and security procedures by the airport authorities and he finally received the boarding gate number..

He then went towards lathika..., who sat on one of the resting chairs..., fiddling vth her pallu and gulping in between..

At that moment..., Nivaan felt an acute pain on heart..,and it was his first tym to experience that sought of pain.., which he never had before...

He just went towards her and stood infront of her..!!
Lathika then raised her head and stood up  trying to smile.., bt she couldn't act anymore..

Nivaan then raised his hand and wiped her eyes.., which lathika was till then unaware abt...

"U don't have to hide ur tears lathika..!!

.
I can read ur mind..., and ur stature...!! "
...........Nivaan's concerned tone.., made her feel weak down her knees and the very next moment she hugged him holding his waist and burried her head deep in his chest..., unable to control her tears any longer...

She didn't said anything...!! Infact she had ntng to say at that moment...!!
She felt empty all of a sudden...!!

Bt it was equally difficult for Nivaan to pacify her at that moment..., as he couldn't find any comforting words at that moment...

He just wrapped his arms securedly around her and closed his eyes..., trying to make her feel better in his embrace...!!

That's when they both heard the announcement echoing  over there from the speakers around...

"This is the first boarding call for passenger..., Nivaan sinha booked on flight 372A to Ottawa.
Please proceed to gate 3  before the final call...  Thank you.."

Lathika suddenly pulled the hug.., hearing Nivaan's name in  from the Announcement bar and wiped her tears...

" Nivaan sir...!!  I think they are calling you  for boarding...!!
Have.....a safe journey...!!  I...will...wait for you.....!! "
.............lathika stammered controlling her sobs and  stepped back a little...

" lathika...!! It's just the first call...!!  I can still be vth you for 15 minutes...!!

N listen to me...!!
Dnt skip your meals...!! Eat well and stay healthy..

You know wat...!! You are too skinny...!!
I felt that when i touched your waist...!!

I want you to put some weight in these 4 days...

..........Nivaan leaned over her and whispered in her ears..., trying to set the mood.., again..

Lathika didn't expected such sexy threats at that moment and pushed him gently...

" Nivaan sir...!!  Is this the time to say all this..?? "
.........she gasped a little and smiled., staring in  his dark blue eyes...

In the meanwhile.., the 2nd call too arrived and   their hearts raced  until the announcement ended mentioning Nivaan's name again in it...

That's when Nivaan remembered something and  placed his hands in his trouser pocket and took a chain from it...

"Lathika...!!  I totally forgot about it...!! 
On my way of returning to SPH  from shimla this eveng..., i  bought you this chain....
Glad that i remembered at least now...!!"
........... said Nivaan and ran his fingers around her neck.., to help her wear the chain...
Lathika has got all the biggest surprises that night and this one is the heights of her dreams...

She touched the chain for once and the locket seemed different to her...
It's in the shape of infinity..!!

Nivaan understood her frowning expressions and said..,

" It's an infinity locket...!!  It has a meaning..!!
In ancient India and Tibet,
the infinity symbol represented perfection, dualism, and unity between a couple...
The meaning behind this pendant is actually beautuful...
It symbolizes  Eternity.., Empowerment and Everlasting Obsession...

And the last word made  me buy this for you..!! As u are my only Obsession....!! "
..........his adoring tone made her even more weak at that moment and Nivaan..., kissed her scar the very next moment vthout any warning...

"This is the final boarding call for  passenger..,  Nivaan Sinha booked on flight 372A to Ottawa. Please proceed to gate 3  before the final call... 
The final checks are being completed  and the captain will order for the doors of the aircraft to close in approximately five minutes time. I repeat. This is the final boarding call for Nivaan Sinha...  Thank you... "

........The lady voice beemed again making them come to their senes again and face the reality..., that's going to be hatd for both of them at that moment...

" Nivaan sir...!!  It's time now...!!  "
.........lathika paced her hand on his cheeks and felt his 2 days old stubble behind her palm tickling her..

" Yes..!! It is.. the time now..."
....... Nivaan hugged her one last time  inhaling her earthy scent and started to head towards the gate 3..

He then stopped in the mid way and turned aound to face her again..

He then took out his mobile and said..,

" lathika..!!!  Look at me...!!"
.........and snaped her image in his mobile...,and zoomed it for once..., to see her smiling posture in that elegant black saree...

"See you soon...!!  Take care...!!

.
N  just put on some weight...!!"
.........he shouted..,standing near the boarding gate vthout caring that people are hearing him....

Lathika just smiled shyly and waved  him for one last tym imprinting his image in her heart....
