3. Ghen Ghen Ghen😄
It was Tacha's second night at the Lucas lounge again. This time, she went with Kenny who insisted she wanted her to clear her mind and they could look out for a solution later on.
This time, instead of Tacha's mini jean skirt, her favourite black palazzo did justice to her shape, and just like she would have dressed, she decided on a clean white shirt a little bit bigger than her. While she stood before the mirror and fixed on her head her curly braided wig and a light make up on her face, Kenny admired Tacha's body and how true she stayed to herself despite living with someone like her.
"Hi." Tacha greeted her only friend at the Lucas bar, settling down on the glass stool opposite the bar man. For the second time, she had visited a place she thought she might never step foot again. Still the same as the first time. Hot guys and ladies having the wildest fun of their lives inside the bar. Smooching, kissing, playing games, dancing and all hideous acts one could ever think about. She just lost her job, and she thought Lucas lounge was fit to take her burdens away like her best friend said. But she still doesn't understand why Kenny loved Lucas lounge, and the bar more than her life. She agreed some people can do anything to have the life in the Lucas bar for the kind of fun going on there.
The bar man stared at Tacha. He had seen different faces this night already and he was puzzled by the beautiful light skin lady before him. Tacha smiled at him and suddenly, he knew he had seen that smile before. But where?
Tacha chuckled, but it wasn't reaching her eyes, unable to hide the sadness in those eyes. "I see you are having a hard trying to remember me," she said, dropping her small purse. "Would you try to remember or I should spill the bean?"
The bar man was starstruck by the voice. The voice of the shabby blue hair, sexy goddess who left the bar full of tears after approaching a whole Nathan Brown. The voice was the same. The eyes were the same. The smile was exactly the same. His mouth opened with a smile as he tried to speak."You are the same lady that--"
"Came here yesterday, almost quarrelling with you for a glass of Gordon."
The barman laughed.
And genuinely, Tacha smiled, her sad face realising she was truly happy.
The barman smiled at Tacha. "You look so different today," he said. "I want to agree you decided to be yourself today "
Tacha smiled with her aching heart. "The best way I could convince myself that I'm beautiful anyways."
The barman agreed. "Yes. You are beautiful. Also very gorgeous just in anything you love to wear. I think you look sexier in this."
This time, Tacha found herself laughing genuinely. She agreed the barman was amazing and she liked him already. If she had thought his tattoo and multiple piercing made him look like someone she wouldn't want to associate with, she had to disagree with the idea, because the barman made her realise, people are not sometimes what you think they are just by judging with your eyes. Whatever they grew up with must have shaped them but could never have taken their hearts or forget who they really are.
The barman whispered. "Another Gordon tonight."
Tacha's eyes became huge as she chuckled."Hands down, I don't deserve Gordon. I will give my life to Smirnoff."
The barman laughed at Tacha's cuteness. "We have that too. You chose right this time. When you are more stronger, come back and tackle Gordon and show her who's the boss!"
Tacha chuckled slowly. She nodded with a smile. She was suddenly not feeling the pains she came with anymore. She was relaxed and wouldn't deny the peace she felt in her heart. The peace the barman gave her. "Can I drop my purse with you, want to find the restroom."
The barmsn turned. "No problem. Ladies one is over there." He pointed for Tacha to see. She thanked him and made her way towards the restroom.
Tacha smiled at the mirror in the Ladies restroom. "You are beautiful." She murmured. "You are definitely getting a new job too. You are creative and everyone wants to work with you. So, have fun and have a lot to think about later." She chuckled for acting so seeious, turning to her personal motivational speaker. She brought her head down, closing the tap she opened for over three minutes. She turned to leave, only for her feet to stop all of a sudden at the image that stood before her.
Nathan stared at Tacha who looked like she saw a ghost. Nathan recognised her the moment she walked in with a dark slim lady, his eyes fully on her as she made her way to the barman, took a seat, smiled, laughed, looking so happy. Nathan was stunned. She was supposed to look sad for losing her job. She was supposed to get drunk and cry just like the day he met her. In twelve hours, he knew who Tacha Williams was already. A graduate of business Administration. A daughter to a single mother and a sister to a nine year old girl with down syndrome. In a relationship with a guy named Ricko.
When he first saw her real picture. A picture of her with no shabby blue hair, dirty mini jean skirt, rimmed glasses, and a black corset that exposed everything she hid under the white and black jean, he knew he had been scammed. He knew he met a different person entirely because he could hardly recognize her. He really hates to admit it... But she was thick and damn! He was unable to erase the look she gave him and engage the conflict he put his body through since he met her.
Tacha rolled her eyes at him. He doesn't recognize me. He probably can't recognize me. She thought, taking a bold step to walk away.
"How much for a night?"
Tacha came to a stop. 'Excuse me!' Her eyes went flame red, like she swallowed a hot charcoal, but it looked more like she swallowed a very hard pill. This was the same guy that flared up when she touched him.
Insane!
He must be insane!
"What about a million naira?"
"Mr Man, are you kidding me?"
"Two million naira."
"Stop." Tacha said so slowly, her hand balling into a fist. She was angry, but maintained her warning look. "I don't fuck for a living." She couldn't believe her ears, but made herself clear. "I am not a--"
"Ten million naira." Nathan shut her up. "I will give you ten million naira if you spend the whole night with me "
"Stop!" Tacha yelled, unable to hold her calmness. She was angry, and she wasn't going to hold her tongue anymore. Whenever she was, she was always the opposite of the sweet girl everyone knew. She looked up at Nathan, he did recognize her. Absolutely! She was sure of it now. He absolutely did. "You are crazy man! I am not a slut! I never was, and I would never be. I have some dignity. Nathan... whatever happened last night, was just a coincidence." She said it to his face and he looked at her speechless. Tacha just called him by his name. No respect. No fear. A devilish grin took over his face. Tacha was bold and somehow he liked it. Not her. For some reason, he wanted her in his bed. And may be, he could get over the thoughts building up in his head. The thoughts she put there.
Nathan took a step towards her. "Shit! I can't control myself. You are damn tall and sexy." He took another step. "I want you to have my ass all to yourself tonight. Remember?" He said with a smile. A genuine one, taking another step, unable to understand how he remembered everything Tacha told him that night. Somehow, those words kept playing in his head. "I want to make you happy. Did your girlfriend also cheated on you like mine?" Nathan stopped, seeing how hard it was for Tacha to control her breathing. "I want to fuck you." He smelled her.
What!
Tacha chuckled sadly, a little bit sorry for herself. She had brought this upon herself, but tonight, she would correct it. She looked into Nathan's eyes. "Only my boyfriend can fuck me. And of course, I don't have one anymore. But you, I would never-" she paused. "I would never go to bed with you. You don't fucking scare me."
"Nathan."
A voice called from the entrance. Tacha moved back, she rolled her eyes at Nathan who just stood there, staring at her with no emotions she could point at. Since he wasn't getting out of her way, Tacha stepped aside. If she saw anything, it would be the striking resemblance the guy who called Nathan had. Just like Nathan,he was tall, dark, but lean. He grinned at Tacha, but in a dangerous way. He shook his head at Tacha.
What the fuck is wrong with you dummy? Tacha said to him speaking to herself, but her eyes were good at expressing her thought.
Without having to repeat herself, the guy heaved a sigh and slipped his two hands into his pockets. "You made a huge mistake darling."
Tacha rolled her eyes. "Do I look like I give a fuck!Out of my way or we have to exchange words over that too?" She hissed and made her way out as he stepped aside for her.
