what's up guys... 😁 i'm cheesing once again because i am so unbelievably happy with these covers. i was initially a little stressed out since i couldn't find any suitable resources for daisy johnson / quake, but i persevered... and here we are! AHH! THEY'RE SO PRETTY! welcome to my update for MOON WOUNDS by carly!

purple is one of those funny little colours that i rarely work with, but thoroughly enjoy when i do. i went for a warmer, pink-like purple for the main version of both cover i. and ii. cover i. is meant to be more modern, action-y; "dynamic", my new pet word, too. then, cover ii. is a little more traditional, and made to look like those vintage sapphic pulp fiction / genre novels.

with that in mind, i went for a contrasting look and used modern, clean serif fonts for most of the text on both covers, utilising something a bit more decorative only for the quake title—i couldn't find a quality .png version of the comic book logo, and i didn't want to waste time painstakingly erasing around an actual comic cover to make my own. so the quake title is of my own design, in this case.

          🫨 the main version of both covers are bright and warm; however, i've included a more pastel alt. version, and a cooler-toned one too. cover i. also features art from raven: daughter of darkness as requested in your form. i really hope you like these, carly!
